- If you want to see Queen Vegeta, this video is important. The Dragon Ball what ifs videos that we will probably never do (within reason).
You see, idea sourcing is often a compliated process, sometimes it is as easy as changing one thing in the existing timeline and calling it a day, but sometimes it is more complex that requires deeper research to understand the reasoning behind such a change to make it valid or viable for a long-form narrative. Other times, the placement of the differentiator makes our job more flexible and at other times very rigid. The earlier we start, the more scope we have...but the more variables and plot points we have to take heed of...Lately, we didn't really want to concentrate on just one thing and call it a day, instead we have tried to be... more experimental? After all, there is only so many times we can go from Raditz to Buu and keep it wholly similar...after all, the games did it for us years ago. #DragonBall #WhatIf #DragonBallWhatIf

@@VestedUTuber if I remember correctly, Masako said that if anyone came up to him at a convention and challenged him to Mario Kart and beat him, he would do 'What If Vegeta Was Female'. Now I assume he meant playing against him in person, but I can't say that for certain. I just know that I certainly wouldn't challenge him to Mario as I would be no match for him especially since I don't even own a Nintendo. If it were NASCAR Thunder 2004, might be a different story, but Mario Kart? Afraid that's a no go for me! If you challenge him, best of luck brother, I hear Masako gets pretty ruthless in that game!
April Fools Idea: What if EVERYONE turned good?
It'd be highly chaotic, especially if you started in Dragon Ball rather than Z. But imagine it! A team of Z-Fighters with the Pilaf Gang, the Red Ribbon Army, the Crane School, King Piccolo & his children, Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, Freeza & the Freeza Force, there is no Garlic Jr. turning good, moving on, King Cold, Gero, 19, 17, 18, Cell, Babidi, Dabura, Buu, Copy Vegeta, Zamasu, Goku Black, Paragus, Moro & the galactic prisoners, and the Heeters.
That one sounds so wacky
This timeline implies that Garlic Jr. is the most horrid, unforgivable, irredeemable being in the entire DragonBall world, above even Frieda and King Cold. I know nothing about Garlic Jr. outside of his movie, and this is still hilarious!

The one I really wanna see is "What if Super Saiyan really was just a legend?"
Their defeat of Freeza on Namek would require even more cat and mouse behaviour than they already did, and it would make Freeza's arrival on Earth for revenge even more terrifying, since Goku never managed to beat him in battle. What it'd ultimately lead to is lower power levels in general and an increased focus on teamwork, strategy, and clever use of techniques. Without Super Saiyan, the earthlings wouldn't be so far behind the Saiyans. Yamcha would be a valued member of the team. Vegeta would have more than just Goku as a rival, as Piccolo would be the strongest for much longer than he was in the original series.
Future Trunks could still defeat Freeza on Earth, but without Super Saiyan, and Goku's training on Yardrat could potentially result in more than just instant transmission, given he badly needs some power boosts to defeat Freeza.
The android saga would be more desparate but I think with teamwork they could still bring them down. The cell games would be very hard, Cell himself would be weaker but defeating his regeneration would be difficult (though if Goku managed to learn forced spirit fission...). The buu saga could play out wildly differently as there are way more options than just Vegeta for a majin form. Say... Yamcha for example.
As things jump into Super, the Super Saiyan God ritual would be the first exposure to a transformation the Saiyans had, outside of ultimate Gohan if that still happens. Golden Freeza also probably wouldn't happen, or rather, he wouldn't be gold specifically, as he chose that to mock Super Saiyan, which doesn't exist in this one.
It'd be so good.
I like the idea of the “legend” really referring to the god ritual
I remember seeing a Freeza race OC that was mostly black in color scheme named Black Ice. So maybe Black Freeza could be used in that idea.
While that sounds interesting, that definitely doesn’t excite me for a what if ngl, it’d basically make things exponentially more difficult

I don't think it would mean the full humans wouldn't be that far behind. Sure, we can always have arcs start with them on equal footing but because of how zenkai boosts work, the Saiyan cast will undoubtedly get stronger faster throughout the arc.

What about Goku landing on Yardrat? Imagine a world where he was raised by Pybara and became a master of Spirit Control. Meanwhile, Earth is conquered by either the Red Ribbon Army or King Piccolo, while Goku eventually interacts with the Frieza Force when the Ginyu Force is sent to conquer Yardrat, deciding to stop Frieza and ensure that not only Yardrat, but the whole galaxy is freed from Frieza's iron grip.

@@MasakoX what about something like "what if arale was Canon in dragon ball". I know you said no crossovers, but slump and dragon ball has already crossed over in the anime twice!(albiet filler, but still) You don't have to bring every aspect or tone of the slump universe to the dragon world (like the sun having a face and being woken by a crow.) Just have penguin village and it's characters be on some other continent on earth. The dragon ball earth is a big place and we only know a few select locations. Maybe even have it where Dr senbei worked with the briefs in the past and have that be how he was able to make arale. Theres plenty of potential for how she could affect the red ribbon, tournament or even king piccolo saga! But if you are firm in your "no crossover" rule then that's fine too.
@@slimgrim3607 I mean, whether Arale is canon or not is a bit ambiguous already. It’s never been confirmed nor denied if she’s canon to my knowledge. She had a surprisingly substantial place in the Red Ribbon saga, helping with the whole General Blue situation. And that happened in both the anime and manga. If I’m correct, it’s very ambiguous on Dr. Slump’s involvement with Dragon Ball.
I do really appreciate that the rational for these are almost always "we don't think we could do this in a way that would be fun and satisfying to our audience or us, but there are plenty of other people who might have already done this well/have already done this well". It's nice to see a continued acknowledgement of the other creators in this fan space (although the directly mentioned one might be official?) as people who are worth seeking out and listening to their what-if takes. I haven't been here for too long, but it really seems like Masako doesn't want us to miss out on something we might enjoy by forgetting about the rest of the community.
Actually, the two exceptions to the above reason for not doing a what-if are "sexual harassment isn't funny" and "we've decided to make it a milestone", which I appreciate.
Hey, whatever makes you happy! They were people who were doing What Ifs way before us like Qaaman or Carthu, but since it kinda became an integral element of this channel, we saw growth of many other channels, like Salad Saiyan, Sacred Saiyan and many others! So you know, you have a lot of different creators with their different quirks, enough to find stories to your personal liking! :) Lots of talented folks out there in the fandom, with different ideas and approaches to the franchise. You certainly have a lot of people to choose from. The goal of this video is so we can explain you our thought process in chosing potential topics. We really do note A LOT of ideas from you guys. Both from the What If Round Table super chats, the regular chat and the comments... and it is easier to tell you what we WON'T do, rather what we will tackle... because, honestly... this changes, as many of you noted with the What if Freeza or some other ideas....
The two most important facts are if it resonates with us and if you guys are interested in a particular scenario.
Sometimes one person can convince us, that an idea is worth following, sometimes we need a lot of people to show their interest in a particular topic.... like it happened with Turles.
We are trying to follow the threads that make us excited... and that make you excited. :)
@@Haverok_ I wasn't implying that you were trying to shove us off or that you were the first and only, I just know sometimes big fandoms like DBZ can have people who are newer (like me) miss out on how big it actually is without people like y'all explicitly telling us or reminding us that it's so much bigger! And it's really cool that y'all take so many suggestions and do so much with them! But also it's cool to hear as we're being told no that it's not never going to be done, just not currently or ever by specifically this channel because the sandbox is very big (And if this channel does do it, it's really a case of two cakes, right?)

I always had an idea for a What If about Buu.
What if Fat Buu had won the fight with Evil Buu, and ate him instead?
It starts like the anime had shown, Fat Buu splits off from Evil Buu and the fight begins like it does. Fat Buu is on the ropes, and goes for the candy beam attack. But this time instead of blowing back the beam, Hercule makes his first ever bold move and yells to distract Evil Buu and the beam actually connects this time and turns Evil Buu into chocolate. Fat Buu, celebrating his victory with Hercule, eats the chocolate and absorbs Evil Buu’s power. The resulting being looks similar to what Super Buu, but less menacing and more good. A being of pure good with the strength of his evil counterpart under control. This Version dubs himself Ultra Buu, taking on a hero persona akin to what he learned from Hercule as well as Gotenks

I'd be more interested in a "What if" of future Trunks being a female. They would have an entirely different dynamic with Gohan, Bulma and Vegeta especially. I think it'd be interesting and really make a difference without changing the core story much.

I like the idea of future Trunks being genderbent, but present Trunks still being a guy. Really lean into the multiverse thing
There was one I'd suggested multiple times: "What if Goten Was Born First". I think the Kalifa one isn't too far away from how I'd imagine that one would go, so I'm not to disappointed that it hasn't happened.
If Goten was born first he'd be Gohan. The thing that differentiates the two is Chi-Chi's mindset to parenting and Goku's presence or lack thereof.
@@dip.918 I honestly disagree because I've never had any impression that Goten has the same potential for scholastic pursuits as Gohan. Yeah, that could just be Chi Chi's difference in attitude when parenting them, but it's just as possible that she tried with Goten anyways and gave up after seeing that he just was nowhere near as smart or focused as Gohan is. Goten seems way closer to Goku in terms of intelligence, so it's very possible that she realized he'd never be capable of going as far as Gohan did and decided not to push him down that path. Besides, this is an idea for a What If, so the author of this story would have some creative leeway if it ever got made. But I don't think that leeway would even bee needed, because I can't see any way that Goten could end up becoming the same as Gohan no matter how hard Chi Chi pushed him down that path.
@@MoostachedSaiyanPrince I doubt it chichi wants goten to be educated but we do know that she was very insistent that he knows how to fight which made goten turn ssj. The chichi in the buu saga is way different to the chichi in the saiyan saga. Super just reverted her character
@@maadtee6281 If I remember right, she wasn't insistent that Goten be trained, she just wasn't as strict with him, to the point where she didn't force education down his throat and even did some sparring with him on occasion. Or at least she did until he unlocked SSJ by accident, at which point she flipped out and refused to train him anymore after that.
@Samus Knight Well, I'm not just saying flip their souls or whatever. I'm saying swap their level of power/potential, personalities, and most importantly, ability to become Super Saiyan. On top of that, even if it was JUST their personalities, I don't see any reason why it couldn't work. Califa didn't just turn into female Gohan in her What If, so why can't the same happen with Goten here? I know he doesn't have a particularly strong personality, but I think that it would go different if he grew up with Goku and Piccolo in his formative years the way Gohan did.
Watching this, I was struck with an idea in the vein of "What if Perfect Cell turned good?" that is closer to "What if Perfect Cell became a begrudging ally?"
So, simple set up: What if, during the leadup to the Cell games, Buu was released. With this greater, terrifying threat (that outpowered Cell himself), the Cell games got canceled as you had a "war makes for strange bedfellows" scenario where Cell was basically forced into joining the rest of the heroes to take down Buu.
We've seen in Super that Frieza will ally himself, reliably even, with Goku and the rest, when the situation needed it, and it would the the Frieza part of Cell that would make such a teamup the most unlikely, so that event in Super sort of allows Cell to remain himself, while being open to such a thing.
I also see this as a chance to treat the threat of Buu as more sinister and darker. No fusion. No Kid Trunks or Gotenks. Mr. Satan could play a remarkably different role. Without having been destroyed by Cell yet, 16 is given a chance to become more.
The more I think about it, the more interesting facets arise, but I think I lack the significant depth in both Dragon Ball lore, and fanfiction, to make much use of the idea myself.

I've got a few ideas but there is one that constantly runs around in my head...
What If the Humans in Dragonball had a "Super" Transformation?
Now this could be a similar process to how Saiyans get Super Saiyan, but they could only get the equivalent of "First Grade" of Super Human, but Unlocking Potential and Mastery make them very potent.
And each Super Human form is aimed towards that person's most potential feature.
For Tien, it could be Raw Strength.
For Master Roshi, it could be Perfect Technique
For Chiaotzu, it could be Unmatchable Psychic Power
You get my thought process....
The only catch would be it can only be accessed by "Pure" Humans, so the Half Saiyans would not be able to access this power
I mean a female vegeta seems really interesting its definitely something I want to see but hey a milestone let's get there
An explanation for that scenario would be: she could simply just be an incarnation of the Saiyans from a different Universe.. ^__^;;

When I saw him, I really wish they the t.v. scene from dbz when everyone in hell was watching goku fight kid buu was canon, so cell could see the new cell max.

I'd like to hear the continuing adventures of Pata. Masako's Saiyan OC. What I'd like to know the most is how Pata meets Puddin and make the ship "cannon". For those not in the know, around the time Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 had released Masako on his channel was telling the tale of his OC Pata who he was playing in a Dragon Ball-themed Pathfinder campaign with some of his friends. During that time Team Four Star was doing a let's play series on Xenoverse 2 and the character they had made for their playthrough was a grey Majin girl named Puddin.
For some reason, fans started to ship Pata and Puddin. Even fan art was made. A male Saiyan and a female Majin. Definitely an odd couple. So having Masako develop a story where Pata somehow encounters the Time Patrol and meets Puddin for the first time... And since Masako has said in the past that he supports the Pata x Puddin ship...
He probably forgot about him tbh.
I think MasakoX said Puddin and Paata couldn't happen anyways.
I think he gets with another girl in that pathfinder game.

you are forgetting the amazing gokut23 with this extremely realistic and 100% faithful what ifs which have the best power scaling known to man
What if, instead of majin buu it was Janemba that was the sealed evil. It has always been said the two are similar but with Janemba his powers are much more unpredictable (in both forms) and his mere present incites reality and hell to distort.
I feel like janemba is way too powerful for them to realistically defeat adless they use the mafuba somehow

I would love to see a "what if Emporor Pilaf was a Frost Demon/relative of Freeza". Especially considering Pilaf is the one Dragonball villain who has just as much longevity as the Space Tyrant

Did anyone else just imagine a DB-styled Mortal Kombat?
Uh... The "Female Vegeta" scenario sent my mind thinking and I ended up in a place I'm not too happy with. Vegeta is very obsessed with the "proud Saiyan race" and all that stuff - especially early on... If he was female, don't you think we'd end up with someone who'd see it as her duty to "birth the new generation of Saiyans"? And unless there are retroactive changes, that leaves us the choice between creepy stuff with Nappa, or her butting into the marriage between Goku & Chichi...
Either that or she'd try to get with one of the strongest humans. No way in hell would she go for Krillin, so I'd be very concerned for Tien.

In a sense, this already existed. There was a Manga about a teenager dying and reincarnated as Yamcha.
Getting Isakai’ed into Yamcha?! Ok, it’s Meta-gaming time! Step 1) Befriend Bulma and Goku, Steal Pilafs wish and wish you had Frieza’s Body and Potential, wait a year. Step 2) Collect the DB Scouter and Dragon Balls, wish for the ability to conjure Senzu Beans at will. 3) Train your ass off, terrorize Raditz, Nappa, and Vegita for the lolz (into helping of course). Step 4) Profit!

Masako, if you want to know how to do a crossover what if right, then may I recommend Damon: What If’s What If Sonic was in Dragon Ball, otherwise known as Dragon Ball: Chaos Crossover. Damon masterfully combines the worlds of Dragon Ball and Sonic into one world in several different ways, such as the Lookout being Angel Island, Frieza destroying Planet Vegeta being because of the Black Arms instead of being told to by Beerus, Kami basing the Dragon Balls off of the Chaos Emeralds and lots more. It’s actually one of my favourite What If’s in general, and I highly recommend it.

One thing I wanna see more with cell is not a 'good' cell, but a cell that won, and hated it. They were disappointed, so they tried to make a foe that could beat them. Is that raising Gohan? Finding someone else? Exploring the galaxy? or maybe taking after gero?
You should make it the 1,000,000 milestone video but get Lanny to do the voice over work for all lady Vegeta's lines
Have you ever considered fusing some of your what ifs together? Like what if Frieza turned good and what if raditz turned good.
That's just the plot of Naruto.
this would be the one series i would love to see especially some of the ones already finished i think something like raditz and nappa would be interesting one since more saiyans would be cool

For some reason you now have me wondering if you would consider tackling the "What if Goku had remained close to his Sun Wukong roots, being a monkey boy, probably instead of being a Saiyan" concept, naturally you would very likely need to adjust the Raditz aspect of why he comes to Earth, or one or two other things (I'm not saying Saiyans can't exist btw I'm just saying Goku would not be one, or might be an anomaly of some sort, in that he doesn't go Super Saiyan in the normal sense). But yeah I do love a lot of what does and does not happen here, especially when it comes to giving love to none Saiyan characters.
Maybe the Saiyans and other alien races are all demons in this concept? Or just have other sentient races inhabit Earth. You could probably mine other forms of mythology like the Namek Saga having shades of Atlantis for example.
Boy I didn't realise how long I've been watching this channel, almost as long as the what if part of it has existed, since 2018 anyways.
I've always wanted to see a what if video or even series on if Beerus and Champa were gods of opposite universes so all the characters and rules of the universes are the same just swap Beerus and Champa. I would just like to see how Beerus would react to beings like Hit, Frost, or the typically weaker saiyans of U6 and how Champa would handle the likes of the stronger saiyans, Majin Buu, Frieza, and even how they would grow with eachothers angels
On the whole crossovers angle - I agree with your opinion, so I would say at most transfer ONE character from the one franchise to the other, and maybe make it work.
I love the idea of 'What If', just the very concept of it, and how much a single change can impact the entire story in either a major, or minor, way.
My favourite What if for Dragon Ball will always be 'What If Vegito Stayed Fused.'.
I agree with the fact that it’s hard to do a crossover what if expecily with dragon ball and have some experience with something like that and can say it’s definitely difficult and hard to keep things from going into chaos
On the cross over thing, you could include other toryama comedy works. I would pay folding money to see more doctor slump/DB stuff. Ariale is pretty much a prototype for the androids.
Don't forget the Galactic Patrol. Sure most people know Jaco, but apparently they showed up in other Toriyama books before him...

Please Masako, do a what if Bulma, Krillin and Gohan landed on Vampa before Namek. I am sure your creative mind will outdo mine in terms of why they would land on Vampa first. But its basically the earliest you could implement Broly into the DBZ storyline that is the most realistic. And it would def change some things in the story too.

Ever since DBZA I have simply just been happy to be entertained by what comes out from the "what if" scenarios. Ya'll have been amazing when it comes to these works and as one of many who've fallen in love with the DBZ-verse I am often flabbergasted, in the good way, by what ya'll manage to construct.
Edit: I do have a what if idea I'd like to see. What if saiyan tails regrew like lizard tails.
I enjoy that you did bring up how many "What if's" are similar because you try to stick to the major known plot points as possible, like veering too far off would just be "okay time to write a complete fanfic with our own canon" like honestly so many you could just be like "welp half of this never happens because of this tiny change"
Also yup.. covering a topic already covered by other fanfics would always lead to comparisons
Hey Masako, how much the inclusion of Black Frieza will impact Revelation F? Also, about "What if Raditz went to Earth instead of Goku", what about adding Cooler to the Namec Saga? It'd make sense, given that What If is heavily based on the relationship between older and younger brothers. Also, Raditz & Kakaroth VS Frieza & Cooler? How awesome would it be?!!!!

i personally think she’s kinda underrated, and the subject is a lil bit iffy since her character in GT is a big thing people seem to think of whenever she’s somewhat tackled, tho I’d like to see a what if including her. like what if there was a “future pan” of sorts, coming instead of trunks to the main timeline, or really just a what if with her being a main focus.

I've been working on a what-if for the better part of 3 years, it may even be four. At this point I've finally reached a point were so much is original it no longer makes sense to keep it a dragon ball project. I had another project I was working on that I could never nail down, so I'm now in the process of moving over all the original stuff and completely changing the stuff that isn't.
It is such a breath of fresh air to finally be able to do ideas that were basically impossible. The limitations of dragon ball were really burning me out. I've tentatively named it Divergent Sum, but I doubt that will stick. One of the cool things is the rework of "Ki". It is now much closer to Avatar, but with more elements. So much world building need to be done, in fact the work that needs doing is seemingly unending. I like to have a world fleshed out first then drop my characters in where I think is most interesting.
I personally think that there should be a Tarble related story, for being Vegetas brother he is SEVERELY underrated and honestly needs more spotlight time. So if we could see something like “What if Tarble had gone to Earth” or something cause King Vegeta still sent him off to a remote star cause he couldn’t fight could easily be earth as well and turn into something very entertaining, like when he finally has to confront his brother and stuff like that :)
One thing i kinda liked especially in the vein of What if Raditz, was the exploration of the GT timeline and how it correlates with DBS. Thats something i like and I would like a possible one off story of how DBS could be incorporated into GT. While we are getting Super Heroes and a possible arc that will tell the actual end of Z, its fun when you explore the idea of the Dark Shenrons meeting universe 6, the Super Dragon balls being used to turn Omega into a Dragon God, etc. while I wouldn’t want a repeat, I would like to see more situations involving gods of destruction, angels, zeno, etc., interacting with the dragons in some capacity.
I know the "What If Turned Good?" trope is starting to get stale, but there is one character I still think might shake things up a bit.

I think an interesting what if that I’ve been racking around in my head is “What If?” Goku black turned good, or at least neutral……mainly it’s what happens after him and Zamasu win. I’d like to think Zamasu would get tired of looking at Goku Black due him well being Goku, plus you’d think Zamasu wouldn’t want to end Goku Black saying him as a mortal even though it’s himself.

You've been somewhat lacking when it came to the spotify community, you had What If Freeza episodes in a sleepy esq vibe, but you also fully released Revelation F both series fully in a album on there. I think if you were to upload the full stories it'll do pretty well
What If Kid Goku Was A Pokémon. He's got tail whip, skull bash, bite, and Kamehameha. Then evolves to adult goku with mega punch, kioken, crunch, and spirit bomb. And so on. Much potential to the Pokémon league

You’ve got to do it as “What if Vageta was a Disney Princess.” You go through all the most click bait lists of what makes a Disney Princess to make your OC and then starting from the prologue to the Super Broly Movie do a Star Wars where Princess Vegie is doing the Leia thing against Freiza and his empire.
What ifs are amazing it helps us see what'll likely happen if things were different and sometimes what ifs can become reality in canon which is incredible thank you masako but there are what ifs you DON'T do since well yeah they are weird and too wack or already covered

I think an interesting idea would be what if Shin (Universe 7's Supreme Kai) showed up earlier in the story. So basically when if he wasn't a bystander and did more to raise the moral rating of Universe 7 itself. We know from Super that Universe 7 had a super low moral rating from a combination of Shin not being the best at his job and Beerus destroying planets left and right because food. I feel like if Shin showed up earlier in the story or even did more maybe the moral rating for Universe 7 would go up. You could have him show up either after Goku comes back from Yardrat after Future Trunks mentions the androids in the future (you can even maybe bring Chronoa into the mix if possible) or during the training for the fight against Nappa and Vegeta near the beginning of Dragon Ball Z. I think it would be an interesting idea but you don't have to do it if you can't. Please keep up the good work. You're What If? videos are great and I love watching them.
“…cracking this chestnut or more accurate vegetable” why did that make me laugh. I have also typed “Vegeta” so often that it pops up as the third option in my predictive keyboard along woth vegeable and vegas (my alternative for vegetable as a typo my mother made 5 years ago.)
Would you be able to tackle a what if where Piccolo never turned good? Would it REALLY be that bad for the series?
Something interesting would happen in that one: if we still get to the point where Piccolo finishes off Raditz and Goku, then the brothers would become lost souls instead of going to the Mahogany Desk.
tbh that feels more like something that might happen inside a different what-if, rather than it being a what-if of its own.
So my idea for an April one-off is still open: "What if Goku had been forced to fuse with Mr. Satan?"
As I've said, it was teased as a joke in the main series, so it's fair game to assume it's possible to do. What if it wasn't treated as a joke, though, and Goku had actually been forced to do it, perhaps because Vegita was delayed in arriving? How would that have affected both of them to share each others' minds? How might it affect Gohan and Videl? How might Gohan-Buu have been defeated without the overwhelming power of Vegito to trounce him, and how would those Buu absorbed have been freed (if at all)?
If you were to do "What if Vegeta went to earth instead of Goku" I think you should just start from where Sai ends
I've always found the problem with the whole "What if Vegeta went to Earth instead of Goku" shtick is that everyone has Vegeta live a similar life to Goku; meet the same people, get put in similar situations, and so on. Realistically, if Vegeta came to Earth instead, his life shouldn't be anything like Goku's. The chances of him actually landing in an area close to whee Goku landed, or meeting all the same people Goku does is next to none, and even if he did, it took very specific circumstances for Vegeta to foster the relationship he has with them. He would treat them wildly different in this scenario. Heck, most stories with Vegeta always have him end up with Bulma. That's another thing that happened due to very specific circumstances. There's no reason to believe that Vegeta and Bulma would even meet, nor any reason to believe they'd be interested in each other if they did. Vegeta is not Goku. Even if he went to Earth instead, things would be completely different in most or all accounts
Considering Sai isn't being continued, probably ever, I'm VERY eager for you to write a continuation

I would love to see a what if about Raditz coming back as a villain! He now canonly has as much potential as Goku, and he's been in hell for decades! Just imagine what kinda hellion super Saiyan he could have. It would also be a great way to introduce demons back into the show, and how they fit with gods of destruction and angels running around.

Rather than a crossover, what if it was a soul swap instead? Similar to the Caulifla story except it happens... a bit later in the narrative. When the character are already accustomed to their worlds and then are suddenly thrust into new ones with new rules.

Vegeta: "Please, no."
Broly: "You lied to me!"
Vegeta: "I DID NO SUCH THING!"
Broly: "You dirty boy."

To give a crossover discussion topic idea, I've been watching Yu Yu Hakusho recently and the whole spiritual energy skill set seems very similar to Ki. Why not make a discussion video about the difference/similarities of Ki vs Spiritual Energy.
Your "what ifs" can often be out there, and I love the format in which you tell then. So simple yet comprehensive.

On Crossovers, I agree on the difficulties with merging them. One thing I do is find compromises that make sense. (I have two Dragon Ball/Transformers crossovers. One in which the Transformers become androids and the other is Cybertronians being a thing in Dragon Ball.)
Also "What ifs that would drastically alter lore", haven't you done several what ifs that do that? (Basically any what if where Trunks murders the present androids in cold blood for no reason other than their alternate timeline counterparts' actions I consider to be drastically altering the lore because of how plot important they are.) XD
One crossover that would work really well is a what if a vultrumite landed on Planet Vegeta. A half saiyan half vultrumite that would take on Frieza and rule the galaxy. And possibly even the universe. He would be too OP tho lol

If Vegeta was a woman wouldn't that change the series a lot considering she wouldn't have any kids with Bulma? It would be interesting to see how future Trunks would react to seeing her.
