loser maggots keep using bots to spam about going to "walintonhack", dont listen webroot antivirus seems to be one of the causes that makes this fix not work, uninstall it if you have it maybe having antivirus at all will fuck it up so if you happen to have antivirus and this fix doesnt work just disable or uninstall it and it should work citrix workspace will also stop your game from running, uninstall it if you have it If it does it again some time after you fix it, what works for me is doing the same steps in the video except just move it back into the program files folder or maybe a different folder if uninstalling webroot didnt work, start your PC in safe mode (google how to do it), go to your C drive, go to your program files, and delete the folder called Webroot, then restart your PC and try again thats all of my ideas

All I had to do was disable full screen optimizations in file properties of launcher file and it just started. You may need to start the game and then close it turning full screen optimizations back on as It should work normally after that.

WORKED FOR MY PC VANGUARD. After Godzilla update my vanguard wouldn't launch on pc and I couldn't find anything online about. Figured i would try this and it worked well done man.
To those on pc who cant fix battle net. I literally uninstalled it, went to steam. And just re bought it through there. It started instantly through steam. Had to make a Activision account but i dont mind that, so yeah if worked doing that. Thats a way if y'all are willing to buy it on steam.

My solution for Steam was enabling Microsoft One Drive. Apparently, MW2 makes a Call of Duty folder in your Documents folder and if One Drive isn't syncing that folder then it will not play. Go into Windows safe mode and delete the Call of Duty Folder in your Documents folder (it has all your local game settings). Then go into One Drive and delete the Call of Duty folder in the cloud. Then reboot and let One Drive sync your files. Then open the game in Steam and it will start the game like it is brand new. You will have to reset all your settings but it should let you finally play the game. It is so stupid but it is what worked. Cheers.

Fixed my issue. Turns out it was my webroot anti virus. Just uninstall it and install it again when you need it

Its your antivirus software. It kept blocking my call of duty modern warfare every time I clicked play. Let me know if this helped.
