Thanks bro, i bought this game for myself a long time ago so I'm already able to play online, but recently I decided to gift the game to both of my friends and I thought that they could just easily play online too, but I got really stressed when we couldn't play together. This actually works really well and now we're having fun playing zombies together! :D

Bro i have a cracked version in old days and times i played with tunngle and this moment i want to play with plutonium and i can't open this game is a error or problems :( with plutonium is work fine in old. Days and tunngle is down site and all :(
Thank you so much, This worked for me! My game would do nothing when I would select a campaign mission or Zombie map, And when clicking to select an online profile, the game would instantly crash. To everyone who also experiences the same issue, this guide works to fix that issue!

to achievement hunters... play the normal game on steam, get all of the possible single player achievements, then get a software know as "steam achievement manager" and hack in any multiplayer ones if those are present. also if you want to feel complete just go on Pluto servers like showcased in this video, and just play the game and when you feel as if you have completed an achievement feel free to add it as you go if you want as close to legitimacy as possible. that's the best I can do for fellow achievement hunters, also feel free to use the achievement manager in the future for games that don't have online servers anymore, and games with bugged achievements I disagree with hacking in most circumstances but id much rather be able to complete a game than to not be able to. that's all sorry for the big read.

As of April 25, 2022 this works! I am using two steam copies, one user is able to create an online profile and one user is not. We are just playing Zombies on LAN so we are able to do "connect 192.168.1...." (local IP)

I have followed the guide of this video (very helpful thank you soo much) just lost on what is preventing me from making an account. (fyi it says: "create an online profile" *I type in a name* it then says "in order to play Co-op and multiplayer you need to have a name" it then asks me to retype but it just goes over the same precedure of not allowing me create any gamertag)
for vanilla world at war, the game stopped shipping with CD keys because activision sucks, so anyone who bought the game after that cannot play online unless they use plutonium

If he sets up his game through Plutonium, and I run mine normally through Steam, are we still able to join the same lobbies or will I need to make a Plutonium account to be able to play in the same lobbies as him? Thanks in advance. (For context, we both have it on Steam at the moment, he just isn't able to make an online profile to connect to the servers.)
I have a 10 year old cd key, yet it also prevents me from creating a profile, or if i put in and restore my backups, then it will keep me offline with my profiles, and if I attempt to go online, it will reset everything back to factory settings and keep me offline.
Despite Plutonium claiming no support for Windows 7 32 bit, I manually installed every Net Framework update until 4.7.2 and the Plutonium update launcher is running just fine. I'll inform later on if it's possible to play at all.

Let me explain, I did everything that you said and now im at the setup part, when I press setup it doesn’t bring me to my file explorer, it bring me to like a alternate one that has none of my files. When I try to move something there it says it’s already there or it moves to my file explorer. I’m stumped. If this happened to anyone else and you fixed it, please like tell me how to.

You'll have to both use the plutonium launcher as plutonium uses different servers
