    Brilliant....would never have figured out how to actually change the base plate without being shown that the front half was fixed with velcro! Removing this revealed the 2 hex screws that needed to be taken out! Thanks

    I've just bought one of these. Very light and quite..I'm impressed. I had a black and decker b4 and I never used because of how loud it is.

      Bosch always make their tools that extra bit better than most other cheaper companies.
      Good little sander, makes things awesome for painting or varnishing.
      Does make your hands tickle after extended use lol

      Yes, it is very controlled and not devastatingly aggressive, go slow, light pressure and this would be perfect for furniture.

    Hiya. Have you ever managed to get the black top off the dust container? There’s a tab there but it feels like it’s gonna break. Mine is full of dust and aside from a rubbish shaking out, I need to get it open.

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  4 года назад +2

      Yes William it is very stiff and feels like it will crack but it is very strong.

    Hello, I’ve seen quite a few reviews that the filter collection box was very hard to remove on this sander- have you had any issues with it?

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  4 года назад +1

      It is stiff, but that's a good thing in my opinion, I have dropped this sander very hard a few times and the filter box has never fallen off or broken, so I'm very happy with how stiff and strong it is.
      I have not had any issues at all with this machine.

    • @oraclescave
      @oraclescave  4 года назад

      @@dalemallon1108 wicked little sander, anytime I need to key up a surface before painting this is absolutely my go to device, it even gets into the tiniest little parts.
      I will buy another one before this one breaks, but so far no funny noises, foam pad underneath is chewed up with me hitting screws and stuff, but that can be replaced for pennies.
      Very happy with this little sander and glad I didn't spend £70 for a "TOP BRAND" when there has been no good reason to other than being a tool snob.
      Oh, I have dropped it loads of times aswell, this thing has bounced a lot and nothing has broken, cracked, or fell off.
      Amazing bang for buck
