I am from China and this song is just about what is happening everywhere and everywhen around me. After 100 years we still must fight along Joe's road. Don't mourn, but organise!
@@mengxu5573 Please forgive the intrusion but I've wanted to know more about this. Could you explain more about what kinds of Marxist your friends were and what work they were doing? Were they Marxist-Leninists? Were they Maoists or some other tendency? Were they members of the CCP and did they participate in any of the local party or worker's congresses?
Very nice! One of his best songs - but for some reason not so often played as many of his lesser songs. 100 years today of non mourning but organizing.
Thank you for preserving and sharing this. Confident the struggle will continue after we are gone, and victory will ours whoevers hands finally bring it to be. I stood on the bones of our fallen ancestors and you will stand on ours. Solidarity forever

I grew up hearing these songs. Joe Hill has always been my hero. I’m 70. Never crossed a picket line in my life!
God love you, brother.
Working folks of the world unite
...alive as you and me. Joe Hill will never die.
Greetings from Sweden, wonderful to hear your singing. It makes me so happy that people still keep Joe Hills memory alive. Don't mourn, organize.
Klass mot klass kamrat. Synd att Joe Hill inte är så känd här i hanns födelse land.
Best regards from Joe Hills hometown of Gävle Sweden!
This song should be as well known as Soidarity Forever.
Joe Hill was the real deal.
