      The S Pen is simply amazing.

      @@subisooraj6207 This really is a good question. It really comes down to your personal opinion. They both have pros and cons (the never ending andoid Vs apple debate ). Personally I think you get more for your money on the S7 ... But you could argue that an iPad has a longer support and will work for 4-5 years. But if you buy it for school then the S7 is definitely more attractive , because you will get the s pen for free and the keyboard "only" costs 150$. Yeah, but if you like apple then get the apple one. There both nice I think

    Great tablet for basically everything. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS I bought it specifically for art, and that 4k screen is really fantastic for it! Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects!You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though!One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

    I have the s7, and for me, the only drawback to the lcd is screen glare. The benefits are more natural color, better battery life, and less eye strain. My super amoled on my phone makes colors that don't look real or natural to me, and if I look at the screen too long, I see double when I look up. Doesn't happen on my tab s7...

    Checking this out after seeing that Samsung is releasing the S7 Lite on June 2021. It will have the same screen as the S7 but at the size of the S7+ with a resolution of 2560x1600. Dang, I wonder how much it will cost. They will probably skimp out on the RAM and the processor to bring the price down. But I doubt it will be anything like the S6 Lite at launch which was around $350.

      Update for anyone who sees this comment:
      My Tab S7 did have backlight bleed on the top right and bottom left corners of the backlight (landscape). I exchanged the unit, exactly the same bleeding. If you look at a teardown, the bleeding regions are the areas right beside the screen ribbon, so I consider it actually normal for this tablet. But if you don't care about bleeding, the screen is very good, almost OLED as long as you aren't in pitch black. Just something to think about if you, like me, use dark apps and watch dark movies

    Could you check, whether black really means pixel off?
    I tested some (older) OLED screens, all did emit light even if "black".
    To see this you need to turn off all screen elements, a fully dark room and some time to adapt your eyes to a complete darkness.
    I find this technically interesting - could never find out, why black is not "pixel off".
    Even asked some LG guys at Funkausstellung- they did not know either...

    • @livedreamsg
      @livedreamsg 4 года назад +1

      An OLED's black pixel is 100% off. Written on my S20 Ultra. There is ZERO light. If you out a 100% black image on the screen and set it to full screen, you'll think your phone is powered off.

    • @ttlstar3553
      @ttlstar3553 4 года назад +1

      @@livedreamsg Thanks for the test.
      Maybe the technology improved lately.
      The light in my tests was veeeeery dim though - you really need to check in a dark room with your eyes, adpted to the darkness. and no shining structires (taskbar, ... ) "desensitzing" your eyes.
      My explanation was, that a PM-Modulation is used to create the "almost blacks" and that the modulation ratio cannot be set to zero for some reason...
      I found this strange behavior when trying to set up an alarm clock display with very dim, but nevertheless clearly visible digits in the dark.
      All LCDs turned out unusable, since the "black" background was actually disturbingly illuminating my bed.
      Then I bought some cheap OLEDs (an old Toshiba Tablet, and a Galaxy Note 4) and found, that both still dimly shone when set to black (with a display test app and surpressing all shining elements/buttons on the screen with an "hide taskbar" app.)
      Otherwiese the remaining light is hard to detect...
      Unfortunately an S20 is sligtly too expensive for my stationary alarm clock project ;-)
      Next try is a small e-ink disply with a very dim illumination. Sadly enough I could not find one that shows a decent clock and allows settig alarms elegantly...
      Only recently, some e-inks allow to install android apps...
      The small one I bought recently, refused to install the playstore however, so I am stuck again ;-)
      Maybe a 5$ alarm should do...
