P.s. your not an idiot, your an absolute genius and amazing contributor to the z32 community.
...and the non z32 community.
Didn’t realize how recent this was needed this 2 months ago rebuilt mine and immediately blew through the bellows still unfixed and 250$ in the hole
Excellent job!
Absolute legend! A video on this has been needed for many years! Thank You! My buddy Eric (who did the R35 brake booster/MC mod) needs to get this done!
Awesome, Cheers Mate.
As always, another thorough video and great explanation of how to complete these steps. Oh, and great advice on how to take care of your shaft. It is a very sensitive piece of equipment. Ha!
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers Mate.
I would never have thunk it, but the gut is the most sensitive organ we have.
Onya Ben, Cheers Mate.
Amazing rod & rack manipulation Gary 👍
Thanks Gary
You can get the rings from Amayama :) Nissan part number is 49263-10V00, its the same as an R32 GTR. Amazing content btw
Thankyou Sir, dammit, I have been chasing a different part number & have ordered a couple. Ah well, may even end up being the same seal, from Nissan but a different number. Cheers Mate.
Probably needs a beeeeeeahh, a Fosters perhaps, Austraalllian for beeeeeah.
Love the videos! Even helped my with my 33!
Cheers Mate.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers Craig.
You made this exactly 4 weeks 2 short. Just put my rebuilt rack back into the car. I used a seal kit from a aftermarket supplier. Ill let you know how it goes.
Dam, i've always had shit timing. Cheers Mate.
Top job Trev. Going with know how and gut feeling has saved you and maybe a lot of other people some major grief. Then again you might be up shit creek if it was a Chinese manual
Cheers Mate, I know that particular creek very well. Lol.
👍👍
Cheers Bill.
Also mine had no shim idk exactly why but i can verify no shim was in my rack.
Interesting...
What's the purpose of the very fine shim type washer ie the one no longer in production? Why not a single part machined to the correct dimension?
I suspect it’s for adjusting the gear lash or contact patch. So not every rack will be exactly the same.
