Hello everyone! Thanks so much for watching today. As you have noticed I have a new piece of artwork. Actually, when I decided to give up our Manhattan apartment, I shipped several things to my home here in Florida. One of them is the 1970’s art work of Greg Copeland’s photography. A beautiful single tulip. It used to hang in my dining room over a long buffet.
Sandra, I am 76 years old, and I am just now learning to slow down. Today, while walking my dog, I stopped and took the time to notice the billowing clouds. It is so important to live in the moment. Thanks for the conversation today. God Bless.
I’m sending Love, Hugs and Happiness right back to everyone who is open for it and of course to you , dear Sandra. Thank you for sharing all your wisdom. 🙏🏽🤗❤️
Being in my late 60s, and knowing my time is limited has made life all the sweeter and caused me to enjoy and be grateful for every day. I've learned those lessons too, Sandra and love to hear them spoken for the benefit of all! Bless you and enjoy your fall season!
Carol, very well said. Do you try to make your life more pleasant and happier by taking vacations? Or you are done with overseas travel now. take care, Seemi from Virginia
1. Cuide da sua saúde em primeiro lugar 2. Você nao vai conseguir agradar todos. Aprenda q dizer não 3. Não sinta medo de perguntar. Não se culpe por errar 4. Não tenha pressa! Crie um ritmo! 5. Você nem sempre vai conseguir o que quer 6. Dinheiro não resolve tudo 7. Nao é tudo sobre você
I’m 25 years old and sadly lost my Grandma who was like my Mother when I was 17. You have the exact same aura as her. So kind, calming & loving. These videos are a total blessing to me. Thank you Sandra, from the bottom of my heart, for creating this content. Take care 🤍
Smart 25 yr old listening to Sandra! Sorry you lost your grandmother so young. I so miss my grandparents and their wisdom, especially in these trying days were in. God bless you❤
Good morning Sandra and everyone! That number 7 is a doozy! Not even just for the young..... people are so self important nowadays. I find it really disheartening that the values held dear for generations have seemingly gone out the window. Like helping your neighbor or even just basic kindness and manners to others. The most important thing (and the hardest) I've ever had to learn to do is forgive myself the mistakes I've made in raising my daughters. There are some things I wish I could go back and do differently for sure. You feel guilty as a parent. I had to find grace for myself and tell myself I always did the best I could as a single mom of 3. If only I could go back and hug my tired mom-self and tell myself that it would be ok, that I didn't need a man, that I had already been given all the tools needed to make it another day. Thank you Sandra 🙏
I’ve made (just did it again) some incredible mistakes with the management of my health. I’m fortunate to be a cat with innumerable lives. But still…the dumb decisions I’ve made.
Patricia, don't beat yourself up about the past, times change and we change also. Here we are now, older and wiser, and it's time to give ourselves advice, making up our minds to enjoy days ahead. May yours be filled with all you wish for.
Even at seventy-something, it is good to hear these words of wisdom I often forget. I sure hope your younger listeners take them to heart!! Thank you Sandra ❤
There is no place like home. We are so ready for fall here. Such a great message and a few of them are actually songs such as "you can't always get what you want....but you get what you need". My personal favorite point you made is Love is a CHOICE. When you have been married over two decades it is a choice you make every day and something that has to be fed and nurtured or it will leave you standing there with nothing. Great video. Keep doing you!
Sandra you are a sweet heart! Being 61 myself there are times I wish I had done many things differently. I tell myself even though I can't go back in time, I can live my life now implementing many of the tips you mentioned today. Life is a journey with many lessons to learn along the way but if we apply your wonderful wisdom at an early age, we will be richer for it!! Hugs 💗
I'm 57 years old, married 30+ years, have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Your words are very appreciated especially at this time in my life! Thank you Sandra for all that you do!
I have already seen comments here that encompass everything I wanted to say. You look radiant and I am so happy to see this video from you. ❤❤❤❤ to you, Sandra, and to everyone in this beautiful community!
When traveling, it's always nice to visit, and in the end, it's great to come home. We work hard to make our home a sanctuary, a place where we feel comfort in our element. I enjoy going places and seeing different towns and people, and I always try to bring back a little memento and a few memories along the way. Welcome home!
🌺🌴🦩 Good morning Sandra. So grateful to have another wonderful video from you. I appreciate your life lessons of love and encouragement. At 65 I'm still learning how to improve my health, forgive myself for my mistakes and to keep moving forward with life 🙏 ❤
One of your best. Every single one of the eight items that you listed are so so right on. I am 77 and I so agree with you if I had only known some of those things when I was younger. I had to laugh when you said It’s not all about you’ . That is so much a part of today’s youth. And the ‘You don’t always get what you want’. I as you have had this be a part of life’s lessons many times. Thank so much for sharing your wisdom. Hugs and God Bless, Caroline
Im 24 and really grateful for these tips. Some of them I already start to understand from my personal experience. Thank you Sandra for everything you do, you are one of my favourite channels 🙏🥰🥰
Oh dear Sandra, this is jus what I needed to hear today, after caregiving for my mom with Alzheimers day n night for 9 years it eventually all came crashing down on me, I was depleted, drained and burntout, my health was/is at stake, I ended up in hospital, the caring not only affected me mentally but now they have going a 6cm growth on my thyroid from debilitating stress...another challenge for me now, but specialist ordered me to not do anymore caring as if I do I will be digging my own grave, an yet I sit with guilt! 😢Thank you my darling for your wise words 😘 ❤️ I was meant to hear about putting myself first! ❤
My dear friend Ingrid had a similar experience with her husband (both passed now). She finally agreed to put him in a nursing home. She visited him everyday and was part of the volunteer activities group. They both lived healthier lives until his passing three years later. Please follow your doctors orders. God’s Blessings.
Thank you Sandra … my mother Anne was born in Bloomfield NJ in 1928. She passed at 88 in 2016. You remind me sooooo much of my mother. I lived in Bloomfield … was raised there … from 1957-1980 when I married & moved to St Louis MO … my husband was at a Lutheran Seminary. By 1983, we were sent to Michigan. Been in the state ever since. Blessed with four grown children & ten grandchildren. I LOVE your insights & wisdom & your New😎Jersey “sound.” Sending you love xo Deborah
This is so timely for me ! I am 83 and I am currently taking myself through a 30 Day Renewal. I am doing a lot of what you said but you added some really good things. Thank you !
This is great advice, Sandra! I have a dear, sweet three-year-old granddaughter, and I thought of her so often as I watched your video. Your tips are timeless and are as relevant now as they will be for her someday soon. Keep up the great work!
Sandra, I’m here week after week for your wisdom! I don’t have your life experience yet, but I’m getting there one day! But please allow me to share my recipe with you! In the giant pot of life, combine curiosity and dreams. Let them simmer down until your imagination flows freely. Then gradually mix in laughter with those you love. Let it create bonds that never fade. Sprinkle kindness wherever you go, and watch it spread its magic. And when facing adversity, add a dash of resilience to keep your spirit going. Lastly, don't forget to stir in the secret ingredient: belief in yourself. Let it be the driving force behind all you do. And have fun! A good recipe is made to be savored and enjoyed.
Thank you for your wisdom offered with a light touch. So many family members, parents, siblings, aunties, uncles, grandparents choose not to love, they do not make an effort to engage with children for example, they focus on competition, jealousy and the family then breaks apart. Adult members of the family in particular, since they're supposed to be more mature, should be open-hearted towards the children in the family, and if the love does not come spontaneously, they should choose to love and engage with their children/nieces/nephews/grandchildren, etc. I remember when I was growing up, there were members of my family, especially male and including my father, uncles, one grandfather, who could not be bothered to spend time with us, play with us, get to know and love us children, they have remained strangers to me and are not missed now they're dead, this is such a shame, and jealousy over material things meant my mother did not like her sister, which drove a wedge between us children towards our cousins, such a shame we did not get to spend time together and become close.
❤Ms, Sandra! You have been inspired me & still is & will be. I’m 65 years old, from Canada. Just, in short, you have nothing but my respect & admiration & more. There’s was time I did thought of bad act to my self. I felt I was too old& useless. But seeing you gave me a courage to live like you do. Well, I’ll write again. Your fan from Canada.
As usual , I agree with everything you had to say, Sandra!! Every time I hear the song "Thank God for Un Answered Prayers" I always say Amen!! Love you, my beautiful friend...MaryEllen
Hi Sandra Always so happy to start a new Tuesday with you! 😊🙏❤ Here are three sayings my dad always said to me when I would bring my troubles to him 1) take it easy-but take it 2) never let them see you sweat 3) take it easy-you will be alright His hard-earned lessons - and he was from Brooklyn and the Bronx
Good morning dear Sandra, You are so right. I’ve seen so many people close to my heart suffer illness etc that I look upon it all as a learning opportunity: health is wealth, money is not everything but it is something, do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do, love is action to love others. Take care. Be safe. Love you to the moon and back.
Thank you dear Sandra for your video. Whenever possible I love to be here for the short time with you. It helps me a lot to get an impulse from you to appreciate life and the good things. And yes, the values that are important in life do not exist for money. Take care of yourself. 💖
Good morning Sandra! Beautiful wisdom and your words are so full of truth on every point! And, I love the new wall art! It’s like as a flower blossoms open so should we as women! Thank you for sharing! 💕
Oh my, have I needed to hear and see this! So many years of saying Yes to too many things; making too many wrong decisions out of fear of hurting others' feelings, etc. Self love and Inner self- esteem-building weren't "allowed" back in my day. It was to be "seen and not heard". But I can still learn a new way now. Thanks so much for the boost, Sandra. Bless you! 😊
🌸🌸🌸🌸 Wisdom, Strength, Humbleness, Kindness, Grace, Gumption, Healthiness, Positive Purpose and Patience... I love this video Sandra:)! Right on and so powerful🙏🏿 These are called "home truths", aka "life truths"... For me, this stands as one of the best videos of the year, because I vibe with all you stated... Right On....👌🏾🙏🏿🕊
Thanks Sandra, for your words of wisdom. How right you are. We need to know this earlier in life. But better late than never Welcome back again Muriel ❤
That was amazing. Turning 73 this October having to continue to work, I struggle with how I'm going to survive in my later years. not having any children to go to. Ex-husband has been able to move on as he prepared himself for a life without me while we were still married and when he felt the time was right after almost 30 yrs of marriage, it was a necessary to file for a divorce. I should of seen the signs long before that longevity of the marriage. However, your comment of not about you is so true. I find myself dwelling on myself and remaining frightened for my future and I want to stop this. Thank you for these lessons. I truly appreciate every word you spoke.
@lifewithsandrahart Thank you. It's hard and unfair. But I gave my health in mind and body and I am a practicing Catholic who believes my strength comes from Him. He guided me to your video. I truly believe that. Thank you.
Welcome back grandma Sandra, so good to see you! Thank you for sharing such valuable life tips! Love to hear you sharing life stories and experiences, I'm learning from you everytime I watch your video, such a blessing! God bless you and your family, please take care! ❤😇 ...Zac
This is a very importa point: to learn to say no!I am in my early 70 and have not yet learned to do it. I have all my life trying to please others, although they tell me I am a difficult person I realized now that I have always been taken for a ride, it is much easier to say yes but you realize at least how it involves your feeling and self esteem and how it become damaged, thank to remind me that I have the right to say no and be myself and think for myself.
❤Good morning Sandra , ohhh how I’d loved to be in your area , this time of year 😊Living in Michigan even with our pool heated it’s been cool and a lot of rain so haven’t used pool since Labor Day weekend 😥sad every yr to see Fall come , only high of 63 today ! Our pool closing next Tuesday 😢was a short Summer and a lot of rain ! It must be amazing living near the ocean , My favorite place !!! I was raised at Higgins lake and always been around water Petoskey , Traverse city , Port Huron etc but it don’t compare to the ocean and breathing in the salt air ! Fall has always been my least favorite season ! Dread it every year ! My Grandma always said , money isn’t everything, but try living without it ! I hope you had a fabulous trip and visit with your family ! Look forward to your videos every week ! Enjoy your day !!!❤
Such a delightful reflections Sandra,I completely resonate with all of them,in 3 months 64, enjoying and kicking in my Life like a teenager with my Soul's Wisdom leading the way.Just getting to know You beautiful Lady❤❤❤
YOU ARE absolutely right about that. But we can always learn. I am so glad you got to spent time with your family. I am ready for the fall which is my favorite time of the year. I hope you are doing well. You are always so full of knowledge..................many blessings...................ILY.,.............MINDY
You are such an inspiring soul! I want to thank you so much for sharing your experiences and thoughts! It is good to know those things in a younger age as i have! ❤
I am 26 and the last tip is hitting hard! I assumed that the sheer power of lurve would bind me and my partner together, but actually I had quite a lot of choice in the matter. Perhaps if Id realised that I would have been more motivated to work on things with him instead of giving up and letting go. Oh well...better luck next time...
Your words are always wisdom🧡 I am an empathetic and always want to help and give my best to everyone around me. The unfortunate fact, that isn’t how others are for me. I am more and more aware every day of who I surround myself with, who I say yes too. Your so right… I am disappointed and as time moves on I realized, Thank Goodness I didn’t get that or do that or that didn’t happen. Adore you Sandra. 🙌🏼🍑🧡Lisa
Health is the first wealth. Ralph Waldo emmerson. That name again Sandra Emmerson. I learnt about this amazing man he was many things Poet and Philosopher to me. 19th century he was so talented. The Health quote I took on board right away. Yes young ones listen. Imm not 60 yet ....nearly. just happy to be here. Love you Sandra ❤❤❤xxx 🐶🐾🐾
Sometimes life throws us a whammy with health, but if we have a good foundation and a positive attitude and helps us get through life and adversities that are thrown at us.
@lifewithsandrahart just have to deal with it. .my Multiple sclerosis has a hold on me I rarely get out of bed can't walk Far. Believe it or not I'm happy. Thanks to you my husband boys. 😘
Glad you are safely back home. I'm so happy for you that you had the time to spend with family. Looking forward to fall/winter and the words of wisdom from you that get me through those dreary Michigan winter days.
Hi Sandra very interesting video, I'm just starting to really set boundaries because I'm a very compassionate person I realize that I'm been used and taken for granted, over the covid lock down that's when I realized that I had to make changes, some people can be very heartless , insentive and selfish ,lacking a compassionate heart, I'm now retired so I can better focus on my health and wellness, I love people but there comes a season in life self care becomes very important. Blessings to you and your family ❤❤
Love #5...you don't always get what you want...boo hoo 🤣 but as the Stones say we get what we need! Amen, Sister Sandra🥳 another winner🎊 Also you are rockin' the colors and shade of lipstick...looking good and glad to be home! Love it!!💞🥰
I'm definitely thinking of others before myself at times, so your checklist confirms I'm getting it right. I do believe in taking good care of myself as if I don't, I'm not going to be as helpful to others. I like your examples of those with lots of money where it hasn't made them happy, with evidence from celebrities: things aren't always as they seem on the outside, where everything is perfect, as with social media. My mum sends her love. ❤We look forward to your future videos.
Thank you. I watched Turquoise and Daffodils....beautiful necklace reminded me...The stone that doesnt match is chosen to remind that only the Creator IS perfect.
In my darkest days, you have been a source of light❤ May God bless you and keep you in his precious care always. (Afterall, I selfishly need you to continue to share the light in my life) my commitment to you is that as you share your light in my life, I will pay it forward as best as I can.
I've found that when we are young we long for the deeper meaning that can only be found with age. When we are older we crave the excitement we only find in our younger years.
Sandra, I"ve been having a bit of a tough week and listening to you sort of put me back on track.. Thank you. I always enjoy your video, usually while having my lunch by myself. Take care.
This is comforting to know, there are people, who have gone through the same ordeals. Being in my forties makes me feel that I have to accept the fact that I do not have the answer to everything. And, it is ok, to make mistakes. Thank you for this lesson in humility

Good morning Sandra! Beautiful wisdom and your words are so full of truth on every point! And, I love the new wall art! It’s like as a flower blossoms open so should we as women! Thank you for sharing! 💕
You are so welcome. Thanks for watching today.
Dear Sandra, I'm so grateful to have your advice and thoughts!
Bless you! 😊
Thank you a lot, dear Sandra, for your precious advice!❤❤❤❤
Sandra, You are so spot on about everything you spoke about. Words to live by. Thanks for your never ending wisdom ! ☺️💜☺️

Thanks Sandra, for your words of wisdom. How right you are. We need to know this earlier in life. But better late than never
Welcome back again
Muriel ❤
That was amazing. Turning 73 this October having to continue to work, I struggle with how I'm going to survive in my later years. not having any children to go to. Ex-husband has been able to move on as he prepared himself for a life without me while we were still married and when he felt the time was right after almost 30 yrs of marriage, it was a necessary to file for a divorce. I should of seen the signs long before that longevity of the marriage. However, your comment of not about you is so true. I find myself dwelling on myself and remaining frightened for my future and I want to stop this. Thank you for these lessons. I truly appreciate every word you spoke.
Life sometimes seems to not be fair, but you are a survivor and you can do this!!!! So sorry he put you in this position.
@lifewithsandrahart Thank you. It's hard and unfair. But I gave my health in mind and body and I am a practicing Catholic who believes my strength comes from Him. He guided me to your video. I truly believe that. Thank you.
Extremely insightful. I so agree with every tip, especially saying no, no is a complete sentence.
WISDOM❤

You are such an inspiring soul! I want to thank you so much for sharing your experiences and thoughts! It is good to know those things in a younger age as i have! ❤
Thank you Sandra you’re a breath of fresh air just love your words of wisdom sending you love and hugs ❤
Your words are always wisdom🧡
I am an empathetic and always want to help and give my best to everyone around me.
🙌🏼🍑🧡Lisa
Love you Lisa. Thanks so much for spending time today here. Right now I’m doing a Peaches facial while I’m answering my comments. So relaxing.

Thank you!! And I like the simplicity of the beautiful tulip over your bed.
Thank you for this very important reminder Sandra! Your timing is impeccable 😊
Glad you are safely back home. I'm so happy for you that you had the time to spend with family. Looking forward to fall/winter and the words of wisdom from you that get me through those dreary Michigan winter days.
Thanks. I miss my family, but it is good to be home for awhile.
You have to be good to yourself
You are such a beautiful woman. I'm 70 and life is definitely different from when I was younger.
Thanks for sharing you thoughts today!!! Hi to Mother as well!
Blessings! ❤️👍so valuable to remind us of this important list for the good of our mental health! Thank you!
Thank you. I watched Turquoise and Daffodils....beautiful necklace reminded me...The stone that doesnt match is chosen to remind that only the Creator IS perfect.
Yesterday was my 60th birthday. First time here. Subscribed.
Happy Birthday and Welcome!!
Health is wealth, and wealth is health. Thank you for your wisdom. ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So true.
@@lifewithsandrahart Amen, no amount of money can buy it.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are so welcome
Sandra, I"ve been having a bit of a tough week and listening to you sort of put me back on track.. Thank you. I always enjoy your video, usually while having my lunch by myself. Take care.
This is comforting to know, there are people, who have gone through the same ordeals. Being in my forties makes me feel that I have to accept the fact that I do not have the answer to everything. And, it is ok, to make mistakes. Thank you for this lesson in humility
Yes, truly it’s human and ok!!
