I worked at an international company whose large headquarters was used as a location for this movie. The Globogym is actually the front lobby of the company. After the movie wrapped up, Ben Stiller went around to every department and thanked all the employees for putting up with the production and apologized for any inconvenience. Great guy.
She has so much personality and acts so natural. I only just discovered this channel from recent the Happy Gilmore video with her. Evalyn should be a staple for the channel. As a father of a 12 and 11 year old her reactions bring me great joy.
You should bring her in for the comedies. It is fun watching you two enjoy a laugh together. Reminds me of me and my daughters when I had them watch Spaceballs and Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

Your description of ESPN: The Ocho was spot on.. but you missed the most important part. Typically once a year (one weekend in the spring), ESPN 2 turns into “The Ocho” for a weekend. Sure, you have the standard Dodgeball and such… but in the past they’ve had… Corgi Racing, Paper Airplane Championships, Microsoft Excel Championships, Power Sander Racing, Pillow Fighting, Tag, and much much more. It’s oh so spectacular 😂
This and happy Gilmore were such fun films to watch along with you guys lmao to good watching you show your kiddos these kind of films their so good lol

I think I was around 7-8 years old when this movie came out, I remember I used to watch this with my dad every once in a while. I didn’t get half the jokes, but it was hilarious nonetheless. Looking back, watching movies with my dad are some of my most cherished memories.

Jason Bateman should have won every award for this. His best performance. Also I love the "poong" sound the balls make. Edit: A lot of people miss the gag of the airline pilot at the bar. There were scandals years ago about pilots flying drunk. Great subtle visual.

Seeing a 12 (for now) year old getting a (hopefully) good cinematic education is interesting. ;p Some (great reaction) movies like Terminator, The Thing, Shindlers List should be acceptable for a 12 year old thats raised properly. I mean there's 18-30 year olds out there that are better off not watching those cause they cray cray.
While the movie is great by itself, nothing beats creating a movie reference library for bonding with your daughter. Sometime in the randomness of life, you’ll be able to pull this reference and she’ll be right there with the response. 👍
If you're not athletic you're likely not going to enjoy this game. There's a perfect example of someone who won't enjoy this game in the explanatory video (the small kid with glasses). Personally, I'm not very good at it, but I can take the hits (7 older siblings are about as effective as wrenches, lol).

7:31 can't tell you how many times i do that because of this film. 31:59 do this to my brothers to this day. in my elementary school, we played bombardment. 30 vs 30 on a double basketball court. if you made a shot on across the line to the other hoop, 10 teammates can come back. it was crazy and awesome.
Couple days late seeing this, but I hope you read this one. When I was a kid back in the 1970s, we lived on a street with a hill. We tried playing Dodgeball in the alley between blocks... but if the ball got passed the lowest kid on the hill, it was GONE. How did we deal with this problem? Simple. We used Frisbees. But let me tell you something... if you think a rubber dodgeball to the face stings, you need to catch a Frisbee between the eyes. You might think it's easier, but it's not. Also, we played Dodgeball in school a lot back then. While I wasn't the most athletic kid there, I did reasonably well. I was never the first kid "out". I honestly miss those days.
