Although, how can Evalyn not know what a "Yoo-Hoo" is or "The Fonz"? Don't even get me started on "Captain Kirk" or "The Hoff". What are they teaching these kids in school?😆 I have a perfect film for you and Evalyn. It is "The Brady Bunch Movie" (1995). I don't know if you've seen it, but it is a funny parody of the 70s TV series. It so happens two actors from this film are in it. Christine Taylor plays daughter Marcia Brady, and the announcer here Cotton McKnight (Gary Cole) plays her dad Mike Brady. Seeing as neither of you are familiar with the decade first hand, it should make for a great reaction.😉

@@JessAndTess Yeah, Gary Cole is a good actor, and has really played a wide variety of roles, from very serious to comedic. Easy to not recognize this talented actor.😉

7:31 can't tell you how many times i do that because of this film.
31:59 do this to my brothers to this day.
in my elementary school, we played bombardment. 30 vs 30 on a double basketball court. if you made a shot on across the line to the other hoop, 10 teammates can come back. it was crazy and awesome.

Couple days late seeing this, but I hope you read this one. When I was a kid back in the 1970s, we lived on a street with a hill. We tried playing Dodgeball in the alley between blocks... but if the ball got passed the lowest kid on the hill, it was GONE. How did we deal with this problem? Simple. We used Frisbees. But let me tell you something... if you think a rubber dodgeball to the face stings, you need to catch a Frisbee between the eyes. You might think it's easier, but it's not.
Also, we played Dodgeball in school a lot back then. While I wasn't the most athletic kid there, I did reasonably well. I was never the first kid "out". I honestly miss those days.

Katherine (Christine Taylor) also played Melody on the 90s Nick show "Hey Dude." I had a big crush on her......good times.
The black guy from Globo Gym (Tiny Lister) was Deebo in the "Friday" franchise......RIP.

Tropic Thunder is objectively Ben Stiller's best, also Something About Mary, and Meet The Parents! 😊
