They not only wrote their own songs but also many songs that were made famous by other well known artists ❤,, magnificent Bee Gees, ! A rare group of musicians, ❤❤❤
This song is from their album Spirits Having Flown in 1979. I was just 18 then and took for granted just how great the music and musicianship was back then. This album's first 3 tracks were #1 hits. Tragedy, Too Much Heaven and Love you Inside and Out. The Bee Gees owned the mid to late 70s. Their singing and songwriting talents are legendary! They sang together since they were kids and so their harmonies are on point. They wrote many songs for themselves and other top artists. There is no one else that sounds like them. They are a true super group. There were so many talented musicians and singers during the 70s. I still enjoy that music every day.
Bee Gees will always hit you in the heart. They wrote ALL of their own songs as well as heaps of hits for other artists. Try How Deep is your Love next. You'll love ❤️ it!
The Bee Gee's catalog is large & good & while people fondly remember the Bee Gees they forget how large & how big. For 10 years, an entire decade the Bee Gees, Elvis Presley, & Michael Jackson traded the #1 spot for #1 hit's & record sales. Elvis & Michael are still known but people have forgotten the Bee Gees belong up there with them. This song shows you why. Pure perfection. It touches you. You could spend a month reacting to a new Bee Gees song every day & never hit a loser. & People wouldn't object. This is 1979 go back to 1971 "How can you mend a broken heart" bring tissue.

Great reaction ... here is another Bee Gees song to react to ... One of the Bee Gees' most famous dance songs is "You Should Be Dancing", and a great version is on youtube at the title ... A little background. Barry Gibb (middle) September 1, 1946. He and his wife Linda have been married for 54 years. They were married on September 1, 1970, which was Barry's 24th birthday. They have 4 sons and one daughter who is the youngest. Also, 7 grandchildren. Barry's chest is shiny with blotches because when he was about 18 months, he pulled a pot of hot tea from off of a table. His mom said he didn't speak for a long time (close to 2 years.) He was close to dying because there was no skin grafting back then and gangrene was beginning to set in. Barry said he has no memory of it happening, just the scars to prove. Robin (on our left - long hair) and Maurice (on our right - short hair) were fraternal twins. Maurice Gibb - pronounced Morris (December 22, 1949 - January 12, 2003) heart attack, while getting surgery for twisted intestines. Survived by his wife and 2 adult children. Robin Gibb (December 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) doctors found out he had the same intestine problems as Maurice. When they went in to fix it, they found cancer. He is survived by his wife and 4 adult children. Andy Gibb (March 5, 1958 - March 10, 1988) He was too young to sing with his brothers. He had his own successful career. He was survived by one daughter. I saw a video where they said it was planned for Andy to join them, but he passed away before it could happen. They wrote their own songs and wrote and produced songs for a lot of other artists. Barry didn't always sing in falsetto. They were asked if someone could sing falsetto on a song. Barry volunteered, and the rest is history. Robin sang falsetto too. On a side note, the first born is their sister, Lesley (Gibb) Evans. (January 12, 1945.) She can sing, but she did not want to be in the limelight. She lives a quiet life. She and Barry are the last two survivors of the family. (Their parents are deceased also.)
