    I'm always not only delighted about the interesting conversations, but with these re-releases astonished each time anew about the difference between player #1 and #2 with at most two years in between. With these before and after pictures, a cooking/fitness/grooming/whatever book should sell like sliced bread :-).

    Interesting thing about Ouija boards - when you blindfold people, they don't produce words at all. Which kind of confirms that it's all to do with the ideomotor effect, not spirits.

    How can you have Isy write you a song, perform it, and NOT fall in love with her. Derbyshire boys must be weird.

    • @frankbrodie5168
      @frankbrodie5168 4 года назад +1

      You have obviously never been to Derbyshire. Take a listen to the Macc Ladds song "No sheep till Buxton" to get an idea. It includes the line "You've got to wear a wooly if you want to pull a bloke.." which should explain it somewhat.

    As a longtime Lee and Herring fan, and it pains me to say this, but Rich just isn't funny anymore. In a lot of these podcasts he comes across as annoying and trying to hard to be funny at every single second of the show, just relax Rich - allow the funny to come out naturally, however long that may take these days. (I really am a fan though).

    • @flaneur5560

      It's a different kind of comedy ... that I prefer. Mostly he's finding something in the guest's replies that he finds funny and riffs on it, sometimes the guest does too. It's the same kind of comedy that comes out being with friends down the pub - and I never laugh louder than I do there watching any form of media entertainment.

      no - it means someone who is funny as having a laugh with my friends in the pub - and precious few stand-ups and telly comedians are.
