When living at my parents in my early 20’s, burglars ransacked the entire house but avoided my bedroom because it was so untidy; I’m both ashamed and smug.
Haha. I knew she was going to mention Bosco. I grew up in Ireland in the early 90s and remember Bosco vividly. It was so poorly done that it ended up being so charming on all sorts of levels.
Wow thank you for telling me that WEnya released a new album! She's my fav singer! I immediately turned this off and run listening to it, it's awesome ! :) Without you god knows when I'd realise that! :) You made my day, Aisling. Unintentionally.
Meeester Richard, Meeester Richard, I just switched my computer on and your face appeared on this podcast and the video was playing, as if a ghost wanted me to watch this podcast again. Surely, surely this is prove of the afterlife for all the sceptics out there. Maybe all the undead are now in the internet and a few of them are helping your podcast get multiple views. Nice of em. Nice of em to do your bidding. Anyway thoroughly enjoyed todays show. I've even started watching the podcasts featuring comedians I don't like or respect (Jack Whitehall). Bises The Yeller
+bonnie43uk They come out weekly, in roughly chronological order. Ray Peacock is next, then Richard Bacon, and then the last in this series is Cariad Lloyd.
+weavehole Eeek, me too. For some reason he didn't have room left to mention he was an ostentatious delusional self-publicist as well as an insipid beast. Buried at a 45 degree angle so he could be eternally on the wonk
+Alexander Wylie I think you've got it right, y' can't enjoy bacon anymore. Here's hoping that Richard (Bacon's) a lot more palatable in a couple of weeks :p
Was it Richard Herring who talked about someone who went to such great lengths to not be sexist, that they ended up as sexist again? I think I can hear some of that in his reaction to people mentioning men's issues.
Bono does pay tax, after all the bullshit he is probably one of the most tax compliant people around. Now the thing that always gets left out of the Artist tax in Ireland is the amount of English musicians living here with Irish citizenship, we have Morrisey, Joe Elliot and Elvis Costelloe to name but a few. All of whom gained their citizenship purely to take advantage of those laws, which have long since been amended. So well done there Aisling for spreading complete and utter bullshit. I am a fan of hers but I'm no fan of people spreading utter bullshit that can be easily verified.
From India, love the podcast.

Hi Richard!
Do you have any plans on getting Henning Wehn on the show?
Haha. I knew she was going to mention Bosco. I grew up in Ireland in the early 90s and remember Bosco vividly. It was so poorly done that it ended up being so charming on all sorts of levels.

Meeester Richard, Meeester Richard,

"That's a classic philosopher thing to do, is to be dead."
Still waiting for Richard Bacon's Herring Podcast. Wonder if it's being kept back because it's a gem.
+bonnie43uk They come out weekly, in roughly chronological order. Ray Peacock is next, then Richard Bacon, and then the last in this series is Cariad Lloyd.
simonjenkin Ah, cheers Simon, you obviously have inside information. Are you one of Mr Herrings minions?
+bonnie43uk He's the other half from the Enya anecdote, or so I've heard.
bonnie43uk Haha, no, the only inside information i have access to is the Wikipedia page...
+bonnie43uk bacon is show 100, last of the series
Great Quantum Leap reference.
Was this filmed before or after Ray Peacock's podcast?
Just wondering because of the argument hungry wine woman...
i love how she called it a "Tommy Tank". what a girl
I own Eeyore's jawbone. Won it at a Pentecostal tent revival raffle.
Wait, the Jijin in the crowd, is that Jijin John from the Kickstarter campaign?
Fucking hell. I just looked up Jimmy Savile's gravestone. Possibly his greatest crime.

He does look a little like Revolver Ocelot.
Come to Llandudno, North Wales pretty please
Oooh wee what a t-shirt Richard. Oooh weee
13:20 That's Stewart Lee's joke!
Surely when you cook the bacon the water evaporates?
+Alexander Wylie Nope, it makes the bacon spit like Freddie Parrot-face Davies & turns the fat in the frying pan into a horrible white emulsion.
Ah, damn. I don't eat meat so I don't have to face such a horror!
+Alexander Wylie I think you've got it right, y' can't enjoy bacon anymore.
Here's hoping that Richard (Bacon's) a lot more palatable in a couple of weeks :p
Nice shout out to the other Aisling O’Sullivan who is actually a great actress
minstrel is a medieval singer or musician. Not a black and white minstrel.
Black and white minstrels are vice versa's?
