    On most diving crankbaits, the tie-on eye is located one-third to one-half the way out on the diving bib itself. Yours is a little high and back on the head which probably caused the "porpoising" action you described. Since you mentioned fixing it, you've already figured it out. Once the video turned from building the lure into a fishing trip, I dropped out. Thanks for the build. Looking forward to the next Episode.

    The jerkbait looks good. At first glance the bib looks like it could go further back behind the eyes and more angle closer to a 45. Nice fish and good video.

      yeah my shop isn't insulated so my tools are kinda open to the elements.
