Ten years later and i still listen to this song when I miss high school, those friendships, and the simplicity. Playing sports growing up, carefree… life was amazing. Thank you Mac
Macklemore deserves a medal for breaking stereotypes and showing that most of what passes for music nowadays is just bad morals to a nice beat. He raps about living not killing yourself slowly through drugs, sex, and violence. Go Macklemore, keep it up.
Akiyo Pringle late reply but you do relise thrift shop is all about kid's being brainwashed into spending ridiculous amounts of money and clothes just for the label
What's sad is all the Macklemore haters who listened to Thrift Shop and decided he was corny have never heard this song, or a song like Otherside Remix. He's so damn good.
+tom thomas He makes ridiculous songs AND serious shit--and most of the ridiculous shit has some real great messages to them. He's one of the most clever rappers of all time.
"Looking over the city's the only thing that keeps me calm, scattered thoughts jotted down by this pen in my palm. It's like my city stands still the world looks on, if I could only capture it's beauty and put it in a song." This song has the most beautiful lyrics! Makes me proud to be from WA!
+Captain Fox I was born in Yakima and it's kinda scrappy but I was partially raised in Seattle and Tacoma but Seattle and Tacoma felt like home Washington is home
When I was 19 I moved to Alaska. I ended up meeting a dude by the name of Jeremy Brooker from Tacoma, WA. He gave me a job and a place to sleep in 35 below Zero in Fairbanks, AK. He was closer then my own bothers. He showed me Mack, Blue Scholars, Talksick, Rock Cnady and many more. Honestly some of the most iunfluental music Ive ever heard in my life. And quite possible one of the most amazing Communities in America. The Pacific Northwest is something by itself. Nothing compares. The Music, the Food, the People.... Jeremy Died in 2012 from Brain Cancer at the age of 31. He passed 12 days before my birthday on January 12th. He left behind 5 Kids, 4 sons and a Daughter. I never got to say good bye to Him or go to his funeral. I'll see him soon. And when I do Im gonna give him a big hug and slap on the back. Turn on some music and tip back a Corona with a lime. Miss you bro. ---- Justin
All the people hating on this don't get it. This is about his home. I am growing up in Seattle now and I am very proud of him. He has never forgotten us. All the haters need to think about how he dose not forget his home and works it into his music. How many other rappers do that? Personally I think he is an amazing rapper that dose not just rap about random stuff.
Trey Davila Me too! I used to hate it here when I was a kid, then i grew up and realized it beauty. Especially in Seattle. Seattle at night is breathtaking.
I live 3 hours away from there, but I went a few months ago to stay for a night and didn't wanna come back home lol, I love the vibe, people and the whole city
Thank you Geo, Sabz, Jake One, NoMads, and many more Tacoma/Seattle rappers who brought this Mack to the world. Miss you early the 08/10 Mack. Happy you made it but bring it back to the Seattle hip hop
Can't beat the early iterations of most all Seattle hip hop artists. Early Blue Scholars, Macklemore, Grieves, Knowmads, Sol... the list goes on. All these guys made some of the best music that I will always cherish returning to.
Thank you brother, it's been years since I have heard anyone bring up sol, blue scholars, knowmads. Brought up all the memories and a tear to my eye, life goes by so fast.
I recently visited Seattle I honestly hope that is my future home more then anything else. It's beautiful, it's citizens are full of pride, etc. I live in L.A it's pretty trashy here even downtown or the ghetto of Seattle is pretty nice.

I just found this guy recently. How could I been missing all this music? It's like the best I've ever heard. I love this shit. I think I'm stuck on a binge for a while.
Wait till you also discover the incredible talent he surrounds himself with. Jess Glynne (These Days) or Eric Nally (Downtown) are just a couple of examples.
This song gives me goosebumps, I remember when I played his music when I could only find it on RUclips. I went to a concert of his when he played with Blue Scholars. No matter how big he gets, he'll always be from SeaTown. I'm so proud of his music and cry with it haha I remember I'd play Fallin & just cry like a baby, still support him. Cool seein him make it big.
Matti Ayele For a part love, but with that comes pain. It's about dealing with my problems and it helps a lot! I think everyone listens to it for it's own reasons and that is why hip hop is so diverse. Have I nice day sir!
nancy siha same, im from marysville, and the day before fathers day i was in An'D and his dad gave me some change cause i was short, and the next dad i saw them at starbucks.
Man this city looks so different 10 years later. The changes talked about in this song happened over what, 15-20 years? In half that time, the city has gotten twice as bad for it's would be culture. There are still real gems out there, I love Seattle. I think one day in the future, it'll have a resurgence. But for the time being, it's so hard to find those gems. This video make me sad and happy all at the same time. Sad that it isn't as great as it once was but happy I knew it at it's best before the fall. Love you Seattle! 💙💚💙💚
Let me just say this, and im knowing of the fact that macklemore wont see this himself...but he helped me realize the missing link in my life. I never cry. I never cry because i have no passion, nothing to pursue actively. You made me realize that i need that in my life. That passion. That thing to live for, and pursue. What does motivational music do if you have nothing to put that motivation to? You make motivational, and inspirational music. Your honest. You fall sometimes. Everyone does. The fact of the matter is that you always get back up. You never stay down. For that Macklemore, i thank you. For helping me not be ignorant to the worlds problems, and my own :)
This guy is genius, I don't know why but with people like John Lennon you can never understand why, it just is. Pure genius. You can't put Seattle in a box and sell it, but the city has decades of history of musical genius, Hendrix, Cobain, Wilson sisters (Heart),+ Macklemore ! This is so fresh and undeniable it makes you jealous, heartbroken, and hungry. Is that o.k. or is someone going to dis me?
A decade has passed and this masterpiece still features in my daily playlist. This, My Oh My and Wings are etched in my soul for eternity. I love everything he has done with maybe the odd exception but those three tracks sit at the top.
Those 3 as well are the same for me. 3 of the very few songs that give me a sense of nostalgia that almost creep me out. I try not to overplay them over the last 10 ish years, but either way that feeling I get listening will never fade. It's cool to read your comment and see you feel the same way... does the call of duty days by chance have something to do with it?
"Now looking over the city's the only thing that keeps me calm Scattered thoughts jotted down by this pen in my palm It's like my city stands still, the world looks on If I could only capture it's beauty and put it in a song" word wizard right here ♥
Michael Fokias I walked down Boylston street 2 days after the marathon bombing, my city that was usually full of life and energy was almost at a standstill and that line played through my head phones and a single tear rolled down my cheek.
I was the university student sitting in the study room downstairs in the dormitory house when first listened to this song. That music has some kind of nostalgic vibe and every time I listen to this song it takes me right to that place full of new friendships, unforgettable parties, commuting, first loves and breakups, learning what life is about.
Its crazy seeing Macklemore mainstream now i remmember bumping his music in 2009 and wanting all my friends to listen to him. Now adays everyone knows who he is. NW Represent.
"The skyline is etched in my veins You can never put that out, no matter how hard it rains" Not from seattle, nor USA.. but this sentence gave me chills for the first time when i was 16 years old. Twelve years forward, at 28 years old - gonna make it as a tattoo on the back to always remember - that no matter what - My skyline is etched in my veins.
I'll keep coming back to this song again and again. I grew up in the 206, and I'm not far away now in the 509. Both areas have great rap talents putting out some amazing music. Seattle will always have a special place in my heart.
From Auburn. Raised here in WA since 5. I’ve moved out and at 26, with all the ups and downs. I’ve been through, shit, we all have and it may seem corny. But I visit family and I love this city no matter what.
I haven’t listen to Macklemore in years but this song randomly came up in my head and I was looking for it not remembering the name. I wanted to see why I liked it back then and why I was a Macklemore fan. Upon finding it I was reminded why. The beat is amazing and love what Macklemore is talking about in the song. I remember listening to this song when I was on the bus in my first year of community college. I miss those days they seem like a lifetime ago. I’m 25 now and sometimes reminisce when I used to skate after class without a care in the world even tho I had homework to do haha. I’m rambling now but thanks Macklemore for this song. It brings back memories. I might buy a penny board so I can do that again. I mean, I’m still young haha. I still have time to make new memories despite the pandemic 😁 Again, thank you Mack 🙏🏼
Just listened to "good old days" and it's amazing to listen to this after. From when he was unknown and a local product for the Seattle greater area and now where he is. I'm so glad he made a few songs for us. Remembering who he represents. Not many Seattle area artists make it and no better man could have
The music scene here in Seattle h as always been tasty. But Macklemore truly embodies the spirit and soul of what we hold dear. I am truly grateful for his voice. The words move me.
Verse 1] Now when I say 2-0, you say Nah, you know the rest This is our scene Our music, our movement, the history lives through us I write to the beat and let life play the guitar strings Despite the drama, there's respect and camaraderie Every time one of my friends is mentioned in My Philosophy It's a rite of passage, I'm not trying to be corny I got love for Sportn' Life, Alpha P, Massline, and Onry Every time somebody steps out on the road They bring a little Northwest soul with them, amen Alright then, just so you know I try to carry that every time that I rock a show So, turn my sound up Ricochet off our mountain It's Good Medicine that Chief Sealth would've been proud of Sends our city, town pride, heart, blood, sweat, tears, I-5 North, South side, vibe, live, ride down these city blocks And never will be stopped They tryin' to shut down the clubs that my city rocks Now Mr. Mayor why would you enforce an ordinance? Music it saves lives, these kids out here are supporting it And through the art form we've learned the importance of community Truth to the youth so they know what's up Yup, and as a public school student I learned from my teachers, but became through my music Take that away, that's a vital 14 Fathoms Deep, Do the Math, Tribal My greatest teachers: B-Self and Vita Wordsayer was my mayor and things have changed But I carry the torch and what I do with that flame Is lit every time that I step on the stage The skyline is etched in my veins You can never put that out, no matter how hard it rains Hook] Northwest, making you feel the vibe Check how Seattle do, coming to my side I mean I like how y'all do Thank you, but we onto new Put it down for the town with music Making you feel the vibe Check how Seattle do, coming to my side When my peeps know my crew bring the flame Put it down for the town Wearing that Seattle blue [Verse 2] That's right, when you put on a show And watch the people seat in between the creases and the doors Hitting up Meli or sneaking in 'cause they're broke Not leaving in between sets because of needing to smoke The reason being whatever The scene from Beacon to Everett Is in need of less ego when we kick it, alright? I get on stage, style, share my whole life Try to reach 'em at the bar where they're drinking Miller Lite But the kids in the front, they bring out the passion, dude Make noise throughout the show and not only when we ask 'em to I watch the older cats jaded in the back Hands clasped, forgot when they weren't too cool to be a fan, damn Hatin' at the concert You don't remember RKCNDY, watching Heiro, or vibing out to Alkaholiks I know it's not the same, it never will be But my, my, my, my city's filthy And we've been truly dope Since Supreme was up on Broadway in the dookie rope Mean muggin' in Sir Mixalot's video Back when Scene was rockin' house parties on the floor JMG's, Sit N' Spin, and The Paradox Back when Marc introduced Geo to Sabz So much has changed here, so much has not I was just a kid hopin' I could earn my spot Try to get some props Meet a promoter who'll give me a shot To let me get up on stage and get the crowd to rock Read a page out my notebook What I thought would be respected, they would connect with it Now looking over the city's the only thing that keeps me calm Scattered thoughts jotted down by this pen in my palm It's like my city stands still, the world looks on If I could only capture its beauty and put it in a song
shut the fuck up pussy. Rappers rap about their lives, and some of their lifestyles literally involve sex and smoking weed, and the violence they grew up in. You're fucking ignorant
Macklemore is a philosppher- rapper. He tell us what is good and things from his life. He tell us stories whith his music. I`m goiing on the knees and thanks Mack for his great and heartful songs. Thanks Mack
You're right, I think it's disrespectful to claim he's something he's not when he sees himself as a philosopher, rap is just the platform for his philosophy.
I remember two years after this song came out this wasn't even at 1 million views yet. Its crazy to think how much Macklemore has grown since then. Much love.
everyone raps about what they go through, and it only has meaning to those who lived it. I live in seattle and I understand the song and what he's talking about. I dont understand chief keef but im sure tons of people in south Chicago and other hoods understand his demeanor. dont discredit other rappers because macklemore speaks to you on a deeper level than other rappers do.
The Heist is about the real american people. I love that way Macklemore shows those society topics in their songs, such as homophobia, consumerism, drug addiction, as well as love the roots
Actually Marshall's songs are about his childhood, his overdose, his recovery, and how he doesn't care what people think about him. You obviously haven't heard all his songs. He has had a hard time in his life and he is expressing his feelings about it. And Macklemore is really great too. He also talks about his childhood and other things that are happening in life. They are both good rappers.
I lost respect for the word rap when I heard all those people who call themselves rappers with all their songs being about drugs and bitches and sex. I thought rap was supposed to be modern poetry set to a beat. Then I heard this guy. He's a poet, he's an artist, respect.
I can honestly say that this is my favorite track of not only Macklemore, but of all songs that i have listened to yet. And it's not even because I lived and felt the vibes of WA. It's just a shame that he doesn't pick this song to play on his tours. Go Hawks.
Sad that Macklemore and so many others changed to a pop direction. I consider this to be before the change, I wish he would make new stuff like this. Just good chill rap.
Ten years later and i still listen to this song when I miss high school, those friendships, and the simplicity. Playing sports growing up, carefree… life was amazing. Thank you Mac
word.
I feel this so much this morning. RIP Young Me
I feel this.
RESPECT🤟
k I am crying :'(
Macklemore deserves a medal for breaking stereotypes and showing that most of what passes for music nowadays is just bad morals to a nice beat. He raps about living not killing yourself slowly through drugs, sex, and violence. Go Macklemore, keep it up.
Tbh My brain isn't developed enough to actually get the Figurative languages used in the song but I like his music. Props to Macklemore
Akiyo Pringle late reply but you do relise thrift shop is all about kid's being brainwashed into spending ridiculous amounts of money and clothes just for the label
i would say he just deserves more recognition
And then Gemini came along... 😢
Katt R. Where did he go through
What's sad is all the Macklemore haters who listened to Thrift Shop and decided he was corny have never heard this song, or a song like Otherside Remix. He's so damn good.
Yeah but they also listen to penis song, American, and we danced, and a few others. No hate though I bought the heist when it first came out
+tom thomas He makes ridiculous songs AND serious shit--and most of the ridiculous shit has some real great messages to them. He's one of the most clever rappers of all time.
Otherside remix is honestly one of the best rap songs I've ever heard. Just how it paces and make you feel
+Nelson Espe totally agree

One of his most underrated songs ever, he is truly the goat, 10 years later
Absolute trooop
I just found this song like last week, then relistened to it. Thinking it must have been a year or two ago.. But no 10! Just wow man..
These kids know nothing's about Seattle. Haha. Been on Macklemore before he blew up. Chumps.
@Azahr Malik you’re an ignorant person
One of my favorite songs from him but Eminem is the 🐐
"Looking over the city's the only thing that keeps me calm, scattered thoughts jotted down by this pen in my palm. It's like my city stands still the world looks on, if I could only capture it's beauty and put it in a song." This song has the most beautiful lyrics! Makes me proud to be from WA!

A lot of rappers actually rap about their hometown, lol he’s really not different from that aspect
I live on the east coast but this paints an image of how beautiful Seattle is.
Who in the world could hate on this? This song is amazing.
I love growing up in seattle metro ❤️❤️

...there is no other thing that I know than being born and raised here in the Pacific Northwest... my parents, us children, my children and all grandchildren from here... his, Macklemore's music puts a feeling to this mystical place I call home.
The BEST Macklemore song.
It's so great to watch artists go from underground to mainstream, everytime I listen to their older songs I feel nostalgic.
While overseas, I always listen to this song when I start to miss home. I was born and raised Ballard. It'll always be home.
This song still makes me realize how proud I am to live in the Northwest. A real special place
These lyrics hit everyone who hasn't got that one "The Town" for himself.. That hometown, that place called home...

Michael Fokias I walked down Boylston street 2 days after the marathon bombing, my city that was usually full of life and energy was almost at a standstill and that line played through my head phones and a single tear rolled down my cheek.
Grew Up in Seattle...Best fucking town EVER.
San Fran All day
Grew up in Krefeld, Germany. Worst city EVER
Scheinwerfer120 Hahaha
Eugene Oregon 4 life
Scheinwerfer120 Grew up in Bochum , Germany. Boring....
I was the university student sitting in the study room downstairs in the dormitory house when first listened to this song. That music has some kind of nostalgic vibe and every time I listen to this song it takes me right to that place full of new friendships, unforgettable parties, commuting, first loves and breakups, learning what life is about.
The rap is fantastic but let's just take a moment to appreciate how visually stunning this video is
Its crazy seeing Macklemore mainstream now i remmember bumping his music in 2009 and wanting all my friends to listen to him. Now adays everyone knows who he is. NW Represent.
Same hare
Why is this song not more popular?? Like i have heard "otherside" and "same love" and stuff but didnt even know of this song... and its amazing!
I think this should be republished because it deserves more attention, i like this song more than can't hold us
How can we get Macklemore to republish this?
this song and Blue Scholars "The Inkwell" are absolutely the best songs about Seattle...
And Home by Jake One
kalim93 awesome! love it...thanks for sharing.
kalim93 Home nails it.
"The skyline is etched in my veins
You can never put that out, no matter how hard it rains"
Not from seattle, nor USA..
but this sentence gave me chills for the first time when i was 16 years old.
Twelve years forward, at 28 years old - gonna make it as a tattoo on the back
to always remember - that no matter what - My skyline is etched in my veins.
This came out in 2009?! Jesus Christ where have I been, wish I saw this sooner
This song makes me wish I was from seattle lol but Im from New York so its cool
Can't wait for the day that I call Seattle home. All my favorites are from there: Seahawks, Sounders, and my favorite band The Head and the Heart.
I love the head and the heart so much. Where do you live now. I'm in PA/Ohio but definitely wanna be in Seattle after school
Go hawks bro💙💚
Go Sounders
When your hometown is Seattle
I'll keep coming back to this song again and again. I grew up in the 206, and I'm not far away now in the 509. Both areas have great rap talents putting out some amazing music. Seattle will always have a special place in my heart.
From Auburn. Raised here in WA since 5. I’ve moved out and at 26, with all the ups and downs. I’ve been through, shit, we all have and it may seem corny. But I visit family and I love this city no matter what.
This song makes me feel proud to be born on the West Coast...... Thank you for this masterpiece.
Seattle from the heart baby
The song makes me happy to be from Washington State. Born-raised-and never leaving
Seattle has to be the best city ever, C'mon we have Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, and fucking Macklemore.
Jimi Hendrix
helloasroma Oh my god how could I forget Jimi, I listen to him like every day
Bruce Lee
And grieves
Sir Mix a Lot
Just listened to "good old days" and it's amazing to listen to this after. From when he was unknown and a local product for the Seattle greater area and now where he is. I'm so glad he made a few songs for us. Remembering who he represents. Not many Seattle area artists make it and no better man could have
The best beat I think I've heard in my life.
This harkens back to a time when Seattle was vibrant, alive, and rising. Hard to say the same about it these days...
The music scene here in Seattle h as always been tasty. But Macklemore truly embodies the spirit and soul of what we hold dear. I am truly grateful for his voice. The words move me.
Verse 1]
Now when I say 2-0, you say
Nah, you know the rest
This is our scene
Our music, our movement, the history lives through us
I write to the beat and let life play the guitar strings
Despite the drama, there's respect and camaraderie
Every time one of my friends is mentioned in My Philosophy
It's a rite of passage, I'm not trying to be corny
I got love for Sportn' Life, Alpha P, Massline, and Onry
Every time somebody steps out on the road
They bring a little Northwest soul with them, amen
Alright then, just so you know
I try to carry that every time that I rock a show
So, turn my sound up
Ricochet off our mountain
It's Good Medicine that Chief Sealth would've been proud of
Sends our city, town pride, heart, blood, sweat, tears, I-5
North, South side, vibe, live, ride down these city blocks
And never will be stopped
They tryin' to shut down the clubs that my city rocks
Now Mr. Mayor why would you enforce an ordinance?
Music it saves lives, these kids out here are supporting it
And through the art form we've learned the importance of community
Truth to the youth so they know what's up
Yup, and as a public school student
I learned from my teachers, but became through my music
Take that away, that's a vital
14 Fathoms Deep, Do the Math, Tribal
My greatest teachers: B-Self and Vita
Wordsayer was my mayor and things have changed
But I carry the torch and what I do with that flame
Is lit every time that I step on the stage
The skyline is etched in my veins
You can never put that out, no matter how hard it rains
Hook]
Northwest, making you feel the vibe
Check how Seattle do, coming to my side
I mean I like how y'all do
Thank you, but we onto new
Put it down for the town with music
Making you feel the vibe
Check how Seattle do, coming to my side
When my peeps know my crew bring the flame
Put it down for the town
Wearing that Seattle blue
[Verse 2]
That's right, when you put on a show
And watch the people seat in between the creases and the doors
Hitting up Meli or sneaking in 'cause they're broke
Not leaving in between sets because of needing to smoke
The reason being whatever
The scene from Beacon to Everett
Is in need of less ego when we kick it, alright?
I get on stage, style, share my whole life
Try to reach 'em at the bar where they're drinking Miller Lite
But the kids in the front, they bring out the passion, dude
Make noise throughout the show and not only when we ask 'em to
I watch the older cats jaded in the back
Hands clasped, forgot when they weren't too cool to be a fan, damn
Hatin' at the concert
You don't remember RKCNDY, watching Heiro, or vibing out to Alkaholiks
I know it's not the same, it never will be
But my, my, my, my city's filthy
And we've been truly dope
Since Supreme was up on Broadway in the dookie rope
Mean muggin' in Sir Mixalot's video
Back when Scene was rockin' house parties on the floor
JMG's, Sit N' Spin, and The Paradox
Back when Marc introduced Geo to Sabz
So much has changed here, so much has not
I was just a kid hopin' I could earn my spot
Try to get some props
Meet a promoter who'll give me a shot
To let me get up on stage and get the crowd to rock
Read a page out my notebook
What I thought would be respected, they would connect with it
Now looking over the city's the only thing that keeps me calm
Scattered thoughts jotted down by this pen in my palm
It's like my city stands still, the world looks on
If I could only capture its beauty and put it in a song
Thank you 😊
This is what rap should actually be about. Life experience and spirtual. Not about sex or smoking weed
shut the fuck up pussy. Rappers rap about their lives, and some of their lifestyles literally involve sex and smoking weed, and the violence they grew up in. You're fucking ignorant
@@LowTempDabr u are 12 watch your mouth young boy
@@V222.. lol im literally 4 years older than you bitch boi
@@LowTempDabr You sure as hell doesn't seem like it. No need to be so aggressive unprovoked..
Hope you figure your life out soon, man.
@@butteredbehind7720 I sure as hell doesn't seem like what?
Macklemore is a philosppher- rapper. He tell us what is good and things from his life. He tell us stories whith his music. I`m goiing on the knees and thanks Mack for his great and heartful songs.
Thanks Mack
WWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SEATTLE SEATTLE SEATTLE.
Home Sweet Home ^^
Portland old true here, but Macklemore is the feeling in our towns and hearts souls big time and forever and forever.
Wow i heard thrift shop a year ago and thought he was lame but seeing where he come from makes me respect his grind.
You're right, I think it's disrespectful to claim he's something he's not when he sees himself as a philosopher, rap is just the platform for his philosophy.
Fuck you
OMG i respect him
His style, his song
Thank you Macklemore
I am Happy
Seattle is honestly one of the best cities out there
Man I love Macklemore's music so much and it makes it even better that we are both from Seattle. Skyline in my heart, 206 for life!!!
Kyle Olsen Me too, part of the year.☝️ Hi from 360&206! 💙💚🎶
proud 2 say that i know macklemore since this :)
Seattle is fantastic.
Aye 2019 still bumpin. Seattle my city baby!!!
I remember two years after this song came out this wasn't even at 1 million views yet. Its crazy to think how much Macklemore has grown since then. Much love.
So much memories.. Before Macklemore was lame
+RyanLawMusic You're fuckin lame
Never forget Mack. #thetown #206
i love his music just gets into you, he speaks about whats true not about shit like some other rappers
everyone raps about what they go through, and it only has meaning to those who lived it.
When I say 2-o u say nah u know the rest...dis our scene
+Lea B yeah there are many good rappers out there who got really great lyrics but most of them are not so famous
Rise_Against7 If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears
+Lea B maybe you like e-dubble he as a few really great songs my favourite song from him is "changed my mind"
I'm listening to the song right now, it sounds great, the lyrics too
oh cool i am glad you like it :)
Remember when this one was 1,000,000 respect to Mack
+William Cornell I remember when this was 20,000

Me
I never thought I could like rap. But Macklemore has opened my eyes. I also love his "Same Love" and "Irish Celebration."
I can honestly say that this is my favorite track of not only Macklemore, but of all songs that i have listened to yet. And it's not even because I lived and felt the vibes of WA. It's just a shame that he doesn't pick this song to play on his tours. Go Hawks.
Realest dude in the game period

Sad that Macklemore and so many others changed to a pop direction. I consider this to be before the change, I wish he would make new stuff like this. Just good chill rap.
