I'm a former High School teacher and I lettered in drama when I was in school. Your video summaries are amazing and I would have loved to have had some of you all ad my students. :) :)
Thank you very much your summarise is perfect for me who didn't know anything about this drama although my monthly exam is tomorrow 🥲💔 Your follower from Egypt
Ross say it to the King: "Norway himself, with terrible numbers, assisted by that most disloyal traitor the thane of Cawdor, began a dismal conflict". In other words, Cawdor was a traitor to Scotland because helped to the Norway's king.
POV: school lockdown and ur teachers sent this cuz they don't know it so they sent this and you have to know what happens cuz there is an exam and it is part of ur grade-
From what i understand. Macbeth and Banquo were actually terrified, as a sparrow terrified of an eagle, and a hare terrified of a lion. Otherwise this really helped. Thanks.
This scene marks the entry of King Duncan, his sons, Lenox and a injured Captain. Captain says that both the troops were equally strong. The traitor MacDonald was reinforced by foot soldiers and cavalry from Ireland. But then there was brave Macbeth who deserves this name, defeating fortune with his own sword. This way he proved to be extremely brave. But when everything was alright King of Norway, aided by the traitor Thane of Cowdor attacked. So they invaded and equipped with new weapons and fresh man and began a frensh onslaught. It made the generals Macbeth and Banquo equally afraid as a eagle is afraid from Sparrow and a lion is afraid from a hare. ( here the captain is being sarcastic, meaning that they were not at all afraid). They not only gave a tough fight but doubled their attacks and it was a Golgotha( place of utmost discomfort) for the enemies. Then we see the Entry of Rosse & Angus. Rosse then praises Macbeth's fight and he referred to the God and Godess of War. By hearing this Duncan Exclaims great happiness. The Norway King Sweno now sues for term of peace but Rosse says that they will not allow him to bury his soldiers until he pay ten thousand dollars. Duncan pronounces that Thane of Cowdor the traitor must be executed and Macbeth be the new Thane of Cowdor.
