These feel like your typical KZ tuning! Just more mature,Which is not bad! They seem to be tweaking the formula that works for their fan base. Gone are the days of the multiple spiky excessive peaks of the Zsn pro. I personally feel the ZRA is a tad over priced! They could kinda justify that with better accessories. There should be a nice case in there and a dozen set of tips included.
Nice review on theee, KZ / Dqs...Just recieved mine, I ave , 20 hours on burn in, im really impressed, with this iem, because of the fit..imma big stickler on, how ,any of my iems fit..dqs ,just fits ,nice and snuggly, so , none of the sound ,is going to be tainted or leak out..I have the kzzs5/ dqs/ cca/ cra/ qkz zxn..blon bl03, tin 3 plus, whizzer bs1 heo1b, etc..This kz dqs, of all my iems, eazzz!!! The best fitting iem i have.. Great reviews on both dqs/ zar ,she blows..lol.....The cable and starline, eartios, When you buy a , kz iem, luv the fact, they dont try n sway you ,with a fancy box opening, no satchels,/ carrying case. Ya buy a kz,for the shells..esp at dqs, pricepoint....Wish ya well AE..peace

Of all my iems..This dqs ,fits the best, and its a nice bassy, thick bass , iem...The cable was nice too....plug and play iem....The fencing mask shells are bad ass looking...foe zhure..peace
This is the same driver as the ZVX and cxs, it's number two in the series, back is semi open, there is just a small hole or two under the mesh. I just ordered both, my son took my ZVX, so will replace with dqs..and you say Zar is good for rock, I have nothing that's really good for that.

I'm happy with mine too, this is definitely an underrated IEM and deserves more attention

I listen to rock and metal only. Will ZAR be good for these styles?
Yes it works well for all kinds of rock and pop but bass is elevated, I know many like the more neutral signature

To me those latest kz releases feel a bit mediocre. Not bad, but also not great. I hope they step up their game a bit

Pro , the ZAR is great but the Soundstage is smaller, the New KZ D-Fi would also be good
