The song is about a child born through an experiment, the child yerns for the mother it never had and yet also wants to drown her. To those who were born with drug addicted parents, a mother who was overly promiscuous, the children sold or lost to traffickers and slavery, and orphans... This is for you.
I was locked in closets while my mom would go out at a child. I was also fed dog food and raw meat to the point that once I was adopted I had a "favorite" type of dog food. My last memory of my bio mom before the adoption was her in the back of a paddy wagon talking about how she was going to kill the "F-ing pigs" who were arresting her. The bio mom is still addicted to meth on and off, has made CourtTV's crazy mugshot list, and is a pain in my ass but I still don't want to kill her.

The lyrics, even in English, make no sense. Till Hedeman is a very gifted individual. This is what I'm leading to believe? His whole facial expressions tell a different story than what these lyrics portray.
I'm pretty sure he is talking about pedophiles and human trafficking of kids. All his songs make since you just have to understand his metaphors. He is amazing for sure

I had no idea what the "oh gib mir kraft" meant, but to me it sounded "oh Lord give me strength" and that's what I was singing all along before learning the correct translation. For 'mutter' I thought it meant mutter in english as in i.e he/she muttered something outloud.😂 Why does German words sound alike to English words?!

@@StineFL I used a service called Kapwing. But you have to pay for a pro account to export videos over 7 minutes and I think it started getting slow because of my hardware. Which is why I got my new laptop!

I think it’s about abortion, it’s even more controversial. It’s about an unborn child, who hypothetically can turn into a sickness for his mother who refuses life to him. That would be his only (but impossible) revenge. This is the controversial theme, that mother has life and death rights over a child, even though many don’t want to accept this. I wouldn’t expect them to sing about easy and light stuff. They say it’s inspired by their own childhood experiences but I think it’s more than that.

you all make me laugh about your meaning of the song! ther's not anly one meaning but many, the main topic is being abandonned by your mother , whether abortion , adoption, ignorance! The one in the cage is him as a child, being treated like a no uhman being, the erthe is the belly, where you are born and suposedly prttected! it's a lso his cage. Then he arrives as an adult, the one with hair, and looks at him with pitinesss and disgustiing. TYhen he raws on a lost boat in the dark water, that's him trying to survive in the dult life; This song has many signification but on thing is ure: if yopu've benn abandonner as a child, well you know what i mean!
