Can’t wait. You guys and ur family are inspiring. You got me and my girl Kayaking together and creating memories like this. Keep up the great content and safe travels
@JimBairdAdventurer likely yes! Looking to start somewhere like Orway or Schefferville and traverse the Big Land to meet the Natashquan. Working my route on Google Earth, and have been in touch with Noah Booth!
This is going to be brilliant - can't wait. @JB - deffo get more of your back catalogue stuff out, it's great to watch and presumably is much less hassle to produce.
@@JimBairdAdventurer I literally, happily, watching 8 hours of you trekking across the artic where the camera lens was mostly fogged up, snot everywhere, 320p. Didn't matter. I doubt they'll get the views of a recent adventure, but the time investment is much lower. Maybe even some of your old Natgeo/Explore mag content can be considered abandonware too - it may even be yours, who knows. Doesn't hurt, it's not like it'll be your entire channel.
Funny, I was looking for info on the Ugjoktok River as a potential for this summer. Lo and behold I find it's got a second name for the upper (Adlatok). I remember you talking about it and now this pops up. Wonder how many have gone through since your trip.
Gonna be epic. If anyone wants a preview of the first half of the trip head over to Northern Scavenger. They covered Atikimaggen Lake and Riveiere de Pa's in a trip 4 or 5 years ago
@ Yes, they went NE through Kamestastin Lake and the Kogaluk River. I’m excited to have you show more of Labrador I will never get to experience in person.
Although not as grandiose as the mountains and such of different areas, Labrador catches my curiosity more than most places. Its vastness and flatness means so much remains hidden. When you become the 51st state of the us, you’ll be able to carry handguns like big boys, and I’ll be able to explore Labrador. Based on how many times I called Trudeau little Castro, at this point i avoid the country like I avoid Russia. 😂

They started further south of us and put in a lot of paddling to reach Attacamagan but took a different river to the Labrador Sea.

Hello Jim, is this an older video you never posted?
Tough country

ummmmm, Justin Barbour just returned from spending a year in the bush in Labrador. did you cross paths?
Old footage, you two look lighter.
My dad smoked a pipe for years, I loved the smell but.....he got mouth cancer.
Sorry to hear that. Ya, not a good thing to do, especially when you inhale every puff like me. Haven’t smoked for a long time though.
