- Not sure if anyone has made this for the English version of the game yet, but just like the first game, I am here to deliver! I hope you guys, enjoy! :) And now, I wait for Trails of Cold Steel III...(I probably should go back and play the Trails in the Sky games while I wait).

I see SOMEONE decided to give Laura the Domination Quartz so she can one shot everything, lol. Though...I totally did too.
In cs1 and 2 is absolute legit.
In cs3-4 just use emblem/Minotaur Rean with Domination and Carnage/Mars + Spd gems.
Spam Gale or S-Craft on little ones and go Helix for the bigger enemys. That guy hits like a Truck then, 70-120k hits are normal
using fie and watching every single enemy s-break miss is hilarious
Arkyre but s-crafts can’t miss
Though just seeing their regular attacks miss is pretty nice as Fie
Also, slight nitpick, enemies never s-break, just s-craft
(S-breaking is when you overide the turn order with an s-craft, the s-craft is the attack)

@@KyunaCookies which is why it's a slight nitpick. I even make this mistake myself all the time.
I remember fighting Mcburn, his was the only S-Craft to lag the Vita.
I loved it, because it made the attack feel more powerful and impactful than it was probably intended to be.
On the PSVita, McBurn's S Craft is the only one to slow the frame rate down.
I honestly liked it because it inadvertently made the attack feel more impactful and powerful.
You know someone's day will be ruined when Laura uses her S-Craft with red STR up and Crittical. ^^
Such an underrated RPG.
I didnt spot it in ANY top 10 RPGs or JRPGs. Not even as a mention. That includes the whole franchise.
Robert Gerardi I was on PS now I was bored and clicked the first trails of cold steel and these 2 games took over my live for a few weeks
been playing The Legend of Heroes series since i was a middle schooler from Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch and i skipped Song of the Ocean. Trails in the Sky was really popular . now im 28. used to play ys too but not anymore.
The trails series as a whole suffer from this.
Trail of the sky is pretty popular tho i've heard numerous ppl talks about it
Millium's 2nd S-craft is out of this world. Literally.
I'm new and I like how ragingly epic Rean's Eng.Va like in 1st S-Craft "Gather on my blade!" "Aaahhhhhh!" Strike! and his 2nd S-Craft "My blade will cleave your ignorance and light the way." "Aaahhhhh!" Terimination Slash- Dawn!" in Tranformation included.

Took me a moment to realize, but Angelica's lines have definitely been rerecorded since last game as her lines sound much better.
familyplayer1 Yeah I was pleasantly surprised when I first noticed this. In addition, lines aren't as rushed and are sounded out better. A lot of love has been put into the game and I love it
some lines have changed. For example, Sara's Plasma Storm, she says that slower in 2 than 1
The rerecord wasn't very good for Reans first Scraft though. You can hardly hear when he says "Azure Flames" . It was a great effort overall though, most do sound better
I think everyone has re recorded their lines because I'm playing COS1 and even the original moves don't sound the same with the updated vocals. No complaint though.
familyplayer1 this is the case for every character, but Jusis’s first s-craft got the best treatment.
Elliot's second s craft ;-; It's so beautiful. Give him seraphic ring or seraph and it's perfect.
Bring machias with you too but don't have him out yet. Saved me so many times.
it's awesome to know that in the japanese Dub Toval is Joseph Joestar and Prince Olivert is DiO

Favorite from the old TCS I S-Crafts: *Gauis's Calamity Hawk.*
Favorite from the new TCS II S-Crafts: *Alisa's Radiant Arc.*
Favorite from the villain's S-Crafts: *McBurn's Incandescent Hellfire.* (Tho, quotes-wise, I do like Phantom B's quote the most)
For me, C's Deadly Cross and Gaius' Calamity Hawk are the favourites.
Gaius always gets the coolest S-crafts, both as a student and all grown up

Since I made a comment on Sen 1’s S Craft compilation of my favorite arts I want to give my favorites again.
First off, Lloyd’s Rising Sun 2 and Toval’s Rebellion Storm 2 are up high solely because of the godlike line delivery in addition to them already being awesome. The other is probably Laura’s Radiant Lion because that slash looks like it would crush skulls, and from experience, it definitely does.
All of these perfectly encapsulate the different characters !

Now that I think of it, I wonder if Millium's Galactic Cannon is related to Tita's Satellite Cannon S-Craft. I mean, it would be amusing if eveytime Tita does her Satellite Cannon, Lammy has to transform and shoot for her... possibly as a side job *cough*
The Satellite used by Tita was much more "steampunk" looking and older. Technology moves at a fast pace in this series, by Crossbell the equivalent to cellphones started to become more commonplace unlike how it was apparently extremely rare and Olivier had one, so it's not really the same.
Plus Tita's Satellite beam was aimed at the enemy from what looked like a laptop, instead of riding a robot and turning into a weapon.
Guess we'll find out in the threequel

I play the first on my PS3 It was cheap on a store and I bought the second for PC. These are amazing games with incredible combat system.
One of the best turn based gameplay along with Persona

You know, I really wish that Elliot's S-Crafts used violin/pipe organ renditions of the battle themes and dynamically merged them into the current section of the song when they were activated, sorta like how Nier Automata seamlessly shifted between the standard and chiptune versions of pretty much every song on their soundtrack whenever 9S used his hacking.
As do i but lets remeber. If Elliot started playing Tie in A link of Arcus with malicious intent, everything in the immidiate area would be consumed by the sheer amount of awesome.
Rean, and Jusis clothes are cool but for Gaius I like the one he uses in the third game.

Probably my favorite game in the series so far.... i got to play as all of my favorite characters... Towa, Sharon, Claire, Alfin, and even Vita
Unfortunately, you'll never see Alfin as being playable again (Until next year, that is)

I CANNOT wait to play COS 2. I am wrapping up on COS 1 and enjoyed it more than I have enjoyed any JRPG since FF12...! Emma is my favorite character just because I'm a sucker for a nerdy witch with untapped power to the stars. Hee hee. I shipped her and Rean more than I do Alisa.

They are from the crossbell duology... Zero and ao no kiseki Japanese psp exclusive. There's a good fan translation for Ao no kiseki if you're interested.

How can this be all s crafts if your missing victor Scarlett Vulcan and CS1 gun crow that are still in game but went unused?

Their default equipment (which you can't change) is pretty good haha. I beat the final dungeon with 4 of them in a party and didn't have any problems at all with the dungeon's bosses ;)

Wait, at what point in the game fo you play Crow, Altina and Vita??
In the dungeon during the Epilogue, you can buy "mirrors" with mira that you can equip to play as them
just think of it, mere students pull off moves like these but their wars are fought with guns, tanks, swords, and robots
Should've lowered the background music during Elliot's 2nd S-Craft...Also if you put him last in the class 7 section it would of been a clever way to switch music...just some nitpicks...otherwise great compilation
I think its bullshit that ToCS3 and 4 don't have multiple S Crafts for old class 7. It actually pisses me off.

Tales could take some tips from the Trails series on how to have some cooler Mystic Artes.

Tales has some flashy ones, like Yuri Lowell's Savage Wolf Fury (Final Version), and Asbel's Mystic Artes
Honestly, Tales has done something similar to most/all of these. Especially in Tales of Graces f.

In their defense, Tales games are more action and fast paced combat while Trails games are more strategy and turn based.

In fact, it is not really Crowe, an object can be equipped on a character to take on the appearance and artes of Crowe (only in the dungeon Reverie Corridor).

Yeah, i'll be honest, i dont care for the mech side of this game. I enjoy whipping enemies with my weapons and magic.

It would be nice if you could disable the HUD whilst you're preparing for the S-Craft, like an option just before or just a general toggleable option in the settings, some of the S-Crafts have really nice start-ups. Rean's termination slash one reminds me of Bleublanc's S-Craft because of that moon aha (have to admit, I vastly prefer the one from SC even though the latter games have much nicer S-Crafts).
This was made for the Vita and PS3 at first and the vita, well don't have another button for that toggable option, tho the new Kuro game has no HUD when they perform S crafts so that's a nice change

Sadly the combined "Blades" looks way better then "Starfall Slash" from 4 and Reviere x_X

In the true final dungeon, you can buy Phantasmal Mirrors (an accessory) from the Orbment Station at the beginning of the dungeon that will transform a party member equipped with one into either Crow, Vita, Altina, Lloyd and Rixia depending on which one is equipped. There are 5 mirrors in total that you can buy and they cost 200,000 mira each.
Termination slash like many of these are rules of nature worthy
To be honest, Rufus is the ONLY boss that we fought just one scene

Alfin's s-craft is neat, I don't think you can use it during the intermission but a nice ability none the less :D (and CS2 really made me want the Crossbell games localized because I want to play them too >.
There is a fan translated version though. You could play through that and maybe also check out Trails in the sky. I haven't played it yet but since the trails world is interconnected you'll find some pleasant cameos here and there
I checked out Sky and hated Estelle so.... I can do without that creepy stuff ^^

Ok I was thinking about getting this because I love the persona style of RPGs, but this looks so cringey.
How am I supposed to take this story and the characters seriously when they’re in high school and shout things like “my blade will destroy your ignorance”?
Someone help because I really want to give these games a shot, but I don’t want people seeing me play a cringefest.
But this is one of the best jrpgs ever due to it's detailed storyline and perfect writings
The first one is more focused on highschool
While the second one is focused on ending the civil war.
Even thought its gradually underrated...
Trust me, it stops being cringy when you know the Co text of it.
I know why you find it cringy (Same reason I don't like Fairy Tail), but this game is nothing like Fairy Tail.
But on the other hand, you might like the style of Persona more, cause it is more Black Butlerish / "cynical" compared to Sen no Kiseki.
And yeah, they're actually serious, mature games. Especially the second one.
HIGHLY suggest you play trails in the sky first.

It was cool, really portrayed Alisa's hidden duality.
(Now i don't know how Japanese Alisa sounds, and frankly I don't care. Nobody said that English dubs have to sound like Japanese dubs.)
