    Nice find. I wouldn't bother replacing the rear spoiler. That car looks fine without it.

      I definitely agree. The sleek waterdrop body line is far nicer than with the wing. Depends a bit on if you think you need the downforce at speed.

    Subscribed for Z32 content! The coolant leak is probably the lines that run under the plenum. Since the car looks pretty stock, I suggest you do the coolant lines delete under the plenum. Will save you a ton of headache in the future.

      Ah right on! 🤘🏻I will look into that, thanks for the tip!

    Awesome car Kurt. Congrats! Worked at a Z shop Scott Performance (owned then by Gregg Scott who owns "Green Hornet 240z") and we were getting over 500hp with some bolt on upgrades from STILLEN. Z32s are a 90s JDM supercar imo. So hard to find them for sale so again congrats!

      Thanks man! Is that the Scott’s performance in the Bay Area? I think it was serviced there, from what I can tell.

    Hopefully you can find a replacement trim piece for between the lights. Since those louvers aren't functional, it looks better to just have a flat panel there instead. Definitely a cool car to tinker around on, since it's got so many cool features for that era, including 4-wheel steering.

    • @CarsBikesandCoffee
      @CarsBikesandCoffee  3 года назад +1

      Yeah, you can cut the slits open on the Stillen nose panel 🤔 or I get a used stock one. I agree the stock one looks better, heading to eBay 😂

      @@CarsBikesandCoffee I think I remember reading somewhere that the stock drivetrain was good for close to 550bhp, so you could swap the turbos and make it a bit of a sleeper, since a lot of people forget how much power the 300ZX had anyway, since a decent number of the ones still rolling around are NA automatics. A near-stock aesthetic with 400-550bhp would make for a fantastic beastie.

    If you dont want the rims, I will buy them off of you. If you do want them, let me know what kind they are and the size. I love the way they look/fit that Z. Im restoring my early 1990 300zx and Im looking for some rims.

    • @CarsBikesandCoffee
      @CarsBikesandCoffee  3 года назад

      Right on! I think I’m going to roll with them. They are the rare “First” wheels. What is your plan for you Z32?

    • @jamesd2224
      @jamesd2224 3 года назад

      @@CarsBikesandCoffee daaaarn. Definitely gonna look for a similar rim style online.
      I am doing a full refurbish on my Z. It was my first car. Definitely doing a engine swap, blew up the motor once, rebuilt it, blew a head gasket, completely despise the vg30de.

    Need help I have 92 tt maf sensor not connected, if I connect the car die I change the maf sensor still don’t work?

    • @CarsBikesandCoffee
      @CarsBikesandCoffee  2 года назад

      Hmm typically when the maf is disconnected it runs a base tune. So probably time to diagnose, fuel, spark, and air. Does it stop immediately?

    Holyshit that looks like my old 300ZX. Was that car ever owned by anybody in Orlando Florida? Today used to have stock 300ZX rims that were high polished? Hit me up if that's my old car I've got a hell of a story to share with you
