Sir, only thing that worked for me for weight loss is 16-8 intermittent fasting.
Limit the quantity of food. Take predetermined amount/quantity in a plate having clear partition!. Do not exceed it under any circumstance!. Near Starvation diet is the best!.

Fasting controls cravings, portion control does the exact opposite. Portion control is a mental game all the time.
Rather go on a full blown fast for 16 hours and eat whatever you want for 8 hours.
if 16-8 is hard, do 14-10. I started on 14-10 for 3 months, and now on 16-8 the last 3 years.
I want to take it to 18-6, but I don't want to eat cold food either, lol.
