@@kacemkafi1455 I was getting ready to say the same thing. These guys really remind me more of a 70s hard rock band than anyting. That's when Sammy and Michael got their start.
Man, everytime I listen to this song, all I can here is Montrose! That is a good thing, Ronnie rocks!!! R.I.P. Man, you were the nuts!!!!!!! Another great rock song by Sammy Hagar, and the guys!!!
I used to wonder how Satch would sound in a band where he wasn't the focus. Now I know and I like. Incredibly, Sammy sounds as good as ever - he really hasn't lost anything after all these years. Good stuff...would love to see them live.
Satch played in Mick Jaggers band when he did a solo album in the 80s. apparently Mick was so amazed with Satch that he made a spot in the show for a guitar solo.
The members are (for those of you who are wondering): Sammy Hagar- Lead Vocals Michael Anthony- Bass Joe Satriani- Guitar Chad Smith- Drums Yes, Sammy and Michael are from Van Halen, Chad Smith is from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Joe Satriani taught Steve Vai how to play guitar. All of these people are extremely good at the instrument they play in the band, which, me being a rocker and knowing of the bands they came from, is why this band appeals to me.
This is ALL good. All good artists interact with each other differently. These guys have a good thing going. They got it together, and are having fun doing it. I hope they make some $ from their venture into Chickenfoot. SWEET STUFF!
I saw Sammy with Joe, Micheal, the Cabos, and David Coverdale in Lake Tahoe last October. It was a great show. The last time I saw Sammy was in 1983 and he hasnt lost a step.
Oh I don't know about that...I figure Joe for 150 or so, Sammy gotta be around 190, Michael about the same, Chad is hard to estimate but I'll give him 175. All told maybe 700lbs or so. Nowhere NEAR a ton. Now...instruments and amps yer talkin considerably more....
Love me some sammy!! Me and my buddy went to Cabo once and immediately as we hit the ground we headed for sammys bar. We've worked for rush for 14 years. So lucky sammy was actually there and we met him. We told him what we did and who we had worked for and He was asking us all these questions about geddy. It was a life experience for me. He was so fucking cool!! Was serving us drinks and gave us 2 red shirts from his bar and signed them "to the boys from rush security team" " do the cabo wabo Sammy Hagar"
Fantastic Show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC! Great CD. I'm an OLD fan of all you guys for many years (Bad Motor Scooter encore gave me chills & flashbacks). Thanks to Chickenfoot for bringing Guitar Riff Rock back!!!!!!! Keep on ROCKIN'!!!!

Love checking back in on this cool song, Sammy your voice is iconic
At 70 this guy is STILL kicking ass. And Joe on guitar is like the icing on top of a tasty metal frosted cake. Rock on!
This band is a mix of many things: 80 and 90's bands, with a key element, the pleasure of playing rock'n roll. Fantastic!
Lots of seventies too, Bad company, D purple, do you remember HOT TUNA?

Hated Sammy since the Montrose days. The dude CANNOT sing.
Technically he has been rocking in some type of band since he was 14, as of November 2020 Sammy is 73 years old. That would be 59 years of rocking!
He is in same league as Robert Plant and David Coverdale in my mind, puts Steven Tyler to shame, no one trick pony here.
50 years
