When you hear the backing vocals there is absolutely no doubt who's behind it. M. A. is a solid backbone to all acts he's played with.

Chads on tour with RHC and did the drumming on the album. This drumming is just filling in until Chad completes his commitments. Chad will be with them when they tour.

Ok, no, it's not their greatest song ever, but it doesn't have to be! This is just a sneak preview of what is to come. It'll get way better from here. When uve gotta band with such amazing musicians like chickenfoot, u know for a FACT that they would never ever release something, If it wasn't a step up from what they did last. And the Roth vs Hagar debates should aren't even relevant here. Yes this is a band that Sammy is in, but it's not van Hale

So much for Sam's "best album I've ever recorded". I barely heard a note of this album played on any local rock stations in CA or Sirius.
CF III fell off the charts faster than Hagar could put out his new rum & it became more irrelevant than Elvis getting a black belt in karate.

I like Anthony's back vocals and with that band name, the guys does seems to do this for fun and not take themselves seriously even if they seriously rock. @srhatfield umm...take a closer look - it's the CF logo and not in any way a "reference" EVH's Frankenstrat.
It's funny how many people hate chickenfoot, I don't see why. They are literally 4 of the most talented musicians to have ever walked the earth.
This song sounds like the B side of every VH hit written in the 80's. If this is the best they have to offer then it saddly proves one thing; great musicians made famous by playing other people's songs! Good luck on the roadside bar tour boys!

@FUZZYSHAM333 Chad's back with RHCP and won't be touring. He drummed on the album but Kenny Aronoff, his replacement for the tour, is the drummer here.
You can see the vid on the side where Chad passes the sticks on to Kenny. It's not permanent.
@theratthole You're correct, it is Kenny Aronoff. He took over on the drums for the upcoming Chickenfoot III Tour, because Chad is going to tour with RHCP, so he's unable to go with the Foot at the same time. But he will return afterwards, he hasn't left the band if that's what you're worried about. :)
@FUZZYSHAM333 It's because Chad is doing his thing with the RHCP's. Kenny Arnoff is his hand-picked replacement. He's still the drummer of CF, but not able to do anything with them due to his RC+HCP commiittments.

@ephysdad ya might want to wait and hear the album first also ya might want to wait for the VH album too i have my doubts that it'll be anywhere near as good as either the first or 2nd chickenfoot album and they were ten yrs in the making.
