The Great Artists! I collected that partwork in 1993! They must have had loads of them unsold over a 9 year period. Not sure why as it was brilliant.
Oh, and that main actor in the Harp advert is Andrew Schofield. He played the title role in the Alan Bleasdale series Scully, which was very popular with my schoolmates and I in 1984.

"Harp. We are talking sh-" end of sentence.
"The things we do are awful-" end of sentence.
Still, Football Match is a good name. Imagine the dads/uncles/grandads huddled by the petrol pumps going "got, got, need".

The story of the making of Ryans Daughter is far more entertaining than the film.

"It's unlikely to drop much in value" ...over what timescale?

Despite all good intentions, Ryan's Daughter was overblown, overlong and out of date in the New Hollywood era of Easy Rider and Midnight Cowboy. At half it's length and half it's scale it might have worked. Lean went into a self-imposed exile for 14 years, hurt by the critical indifference to Ryan's Daughter, even though he was offered Dune and Mutiny on the Bounty during the sabbatical.
