- This is more of a "comedy" AMV, so there's more Boom!Eggman since he fits this more than Modern!Eggman. Thanks to Ryan theTourist for suggesting this. Sorry if it looks bad with the transitions. Editing all those food scenes took more time than creating the AMV itself along with trying to finish Sonic's AMV.

There’s a lot of Sonic fans that get hung up on Eggman being more comedic in recent years. In all honesty, I’ve always thought he was pretty goofy even when he was called Robotnik.
Thanks! And yes I also think that Eggman always had this childish personality that makes him goofy since the beginning. I think some fans keep wanting Eggman to be like Robotnik from SatAM...
Yeah, I dont know what version I like more, the badass serious and menacing one, or the funny comedic version. I think that a mix of these two would be perfect.
The thing is, Eggman is inherently silly. It's part of his character. Make him too serious, and you end up with Sonic '06 Eggman.
However, it's just as important to make him threatening, which is were a lot of more recent games fall short.
The Adventure games actually struck a pretty good balance, allowing him to switch between silly and threatening at the drop of a hat.
