In this video you will learn about the best pro grill brands for 2022, Kalamazoo, DCS, Lynx, and Hestan. You will see their best features and a few problems. In the end you will know which grill may be right for you.
First, they all have their merits. All will give better heat output so you can cook faster and sear better
Kalamazoo is the best grill with the ability to cook with wood, gas, and charcoal, but it is expensive
Their grill head without the hybrid drawer at $12,500 for a 42 inch is an excellent consideration. Its actually in the ballpark price wise.
DCS has good power and better yet availability (at least now).
Lynx also has a good all-around grill. Their all sear is another excellent consideration, but infrared is different from a regular gas burner, you have to stay on top of the grill so you don’t burn your food
Lynx will be tough to find in 2022.
Hestan is another excellent grill with the best grates, rotisserie burners, and choice of color.
So, it depends on how you like your grill.
The Kalamazoo Hybrid gives you the ability to infuse flavor in an overall better cooking system.
Lynx will allow you to cook and sear faster, while the Hestan is a good-looking alternative with color and excellent grates
DCS will be popular. The Series 9 does everything well and will be available this year.

Just saw Steve Sheinkopf and Saba Wahid's appearance in the May-June 22 issue of Cook's Illustrated magazine. Hopefully we can see more collaboration between Yale and America's Test Kitchen, two New England institutions. 👍

The price increase seem significant this year, 2 of the premium brands i was choosing between have begin to skyrocket in the past 6 months. Do the manufacturers offer transparency here, or just quietly increase the prices?

Usually the same canned statements about raw materials, cost increases with their suppliers, shipping charges etc... it's true though. Everything is getting significantly more expensive.
