Agreed! And if you use the cigarette lighter with an adapter, the cord is typically in the way of the passenger cup holder. I think this works pretty good. 👍🏽
You know that would have been great like 10 years ago. Right now just buy a high quality cigarette lighter to usb instead. I'm only speaking because of quality of internals.

@@TEKSMRT Mine have a different faceplate, I will disassemble it and show it off in a video, perhaps people like you can compare and see if its just another clone that you got. Its a decent charger, as long as its out of the way and not poking out, im happy with it. If you really want a good clean slim powersource, Aukey sells ultra slim quick charge sig lighter chargers, nearly flush. On another note, once I upgrade my phone, I plan to implement a sleek clean wireless charging solution in the rav4

Plus using a USB charger in the cigarette lighter plug makes it so you can't use the cup holder. This centers the USB ports in between the cup holders. 🤷🏽♂️😁

You could go that route for sure but I wanted an OEM plus look vs something sticking out of the cigarette lighter plug. 👍🏽
@@TEKSMRT they have cigar lighter chargers that are flush allowing the cover to be closed over it when not in use.
@krasher100 - wires out of the flat cigarette charger still interfere with cups in the cup holders imo.

Cig port still works even with the tapped port for the USB ports.
I got like 3 of these in my car lol, I dont think they are actually quick charge, I have tools to test it, might make a review about them eventually.

@TotalKommando - I would definitely try a different model - anything but a cigarette lighter charger though, just needs to have that oem plus look.

For my 14yr old vehicle that doesn't have newer features, this usb adapter keeps the interior looking oem plus. 👍🏽
