      I borrowed that one from a family friend countless times. I bought a copy today at a local store for 14 bucks. Can't wait to play it again.

    If you're into it, NES golf is the cheapest NES game I've ever found. Paid 89 cents for it at a gamestop many years ago. Fun game.

    I recently picked up Double Dribble, Duck Hunt, Hogan’s Alley and Zapper for like $20, I had blast playing these and so did my children, especially Duck Hunt

    Oh my god! I remember playing Blaster Master when I was so little. I just remember that I played a game where you had a car and was able to get out of it. The moment I saw the visuals, lightings went off in my mind. Thank you so much for this. With this video, I found a game that I played in my childhood

    Local pawn shop had five copies of Ice hockey priced at two bucks each, i picked up two in case one of my friends wants one. Big score at that price.

    I love RC pro am it is my absolute favorite nes racer. My dad introduced me to this game when I was like 6 or 7 so I have awesome memories of this game.

    I had no idea that NAMCO ported Dragon Spirit to the NES. I already have Marble Madness, R.C. Pro-Am & Dr. Mario. I never could get into Blaster Master. I've never played the other games you discussed here.
    The NES games that are still on my list...
    - Galaxy 5000: Racing in the 51st Century
    - Journey to Silius
    - Tetris (Tengen version.)
    - Tiger-Heli
    - Zanac

    Kabuki Quantum Fighter is a cheap hidden gem, an action platformer similar to NES Batman. I picked it up last year for £6.95 ($9.00) and its still very reasonably priced.

    Excellent stuff John.
    I think copies of SMB2 & 3 are still reasonably cheap. I would also say Super C, Ironsword, Final Fantasy, Little Nemo, Code Name Viper, Iron Tank, 1943, Kid Icarus.

    Pinball Quest is an awesome game, and it can still be found for next to nothing if you shop around enough! I can't recommend it enough.

    Turn based strategy- Conflict is a good one, and an action platformer called Karnov are 2 games many may not of heard of and Tiger Heli is a good shooter too.

    This was awesome! So many good titles. I'm glad lolo is still low. I still think P.O.W. is a great beat em up for cheap maybe even bad dudes. And then kings knight is a fun shooter if you like dragon spirit. Thanks for a great video John

    I’m happy to see Marble Madness on the list. There were so many all nighters at friends house playing this game. Great list though, I just picked up a NES again and want to start with some budget titles since retro prices have lost their minds during Covid…
    Jackal, Bionic commando and Gun.Smoke are also on my short list.

    My tops for common games that are fun: Ultima Exodus, 1943, Castlevania, Contra, Dragon Warrior, Section Z, and Trojan. Although I'm not usually a sports fan, absolutely enjoy Punch-Out, Blades of Steel, Excitebike, Super Spike V'Ball, Skate or Die, and Double Dribble.

    Ice Hockey is one of my favorite games of all time, my cousin and I use to play this game all night. I like the fact that you can increase the speed of play to make the game more exciting and challenging...Awesome game! I love how the crowd goes crazy towards the end of a close game!!

    Millipede for NES, Afterburner II for NES, and Galaga for NES. These games cost around 10$-15$ Canadian, also Excite Bike which cost me 5$ Canadian, Xevious for 5$ American...Donkey Kong for 15$ Canadian was another good find at a local Pawn Shop....

    All pretty good picks. I think I would definitely add Batman, Double Dribble, Bionic Commando, Fantasy Zone, Rygar, Willow, Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, Faxanadu, and probably Xexyz as well. But there are alotta affordable ones.

    Jackal is one of my all time favorite NES games. Very underated 2 player game that's fun to play with a friend, quite common and super cheap. You won't be disappointed!

    Ice Hockey is a fantastic pick! Off the top of my head, I will say Super Spike V'Ball or Nintendo World Cup (or the combo cart) are amazing budget pick-ups that anyone can enjoy.

    Great list. Serious kudos for listing RC Pro Am, Dragon Spirit and Lolo. On a list of budget-priced gems (under $20 in my book), I'd definitely include Guardian Legend, Kung Fu Heroes, Rad Racer, Tetris, The Immortal, Solstice... Sooo many others I could list...

    Solid picks right there. As a big RPG fan I will suggest 3 rags that are very cheap and easy to find but also, very fun to play: Dragon Warrior 1, Faxanadu, and a personal favorite of mine The Battle of Olympus ;) Cheers

    Tons of great games on this list, John! Blaster Master was one of my favorites as a kid, and I also love Lolo, Ice Hockey, Dr. Mario, and RC Pro-Am.
    I've never heard of Desert Commander before - I'm getting Fire Emblem/Advance Wars vibes from the bit I saw in the video. Does it play anything like those games?

    The obligatory "good & cheap" NES game is Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. You could build a house of nothing but Mario/Duck Hunt, because there are so many of those carts out there.

    Man blaster master is sic, so underrated. I've been smashing the guts outta this game lately, air fortress is one I'm about to hop into right away and rad gravity.

    I agree with your pic of Lolo and Dr Mario
    Lolo is one of my all-time favorite puzzle series on the NES
    I can't see the first one is cheap but the second and third or a little pricey but not too bad The second one is cheaper than the third one but they're all pretty good games
    And marble madness probably going to be the next game I plan on adding to my collection and I just picked up Jaws for the NES for around $15 and past weekend

    Q*bert, Monopoly, and Packman are some good games that are cheap to find and goes up to two players as well.
    Gauntlet, Battletoads, Dragon Warrior, Astyanax, Tetris, Excitebike, Tecmo Super Bowl, Championship Bowling, Double Dragon, Legend Of Zelda, Legend Of Zelda 2, Willow, Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt in one, Double Dragon 2, Black Bass, Galaga: Demons Of Death, Donkey Kong Classic, Vindictors, Kid Icarus, and Space Invaders.

    If I were to pick one, it'd have to be Tetris (the Nintendo version, not the unlicensed Tengen version).
    Sorry, John. The Nintendo's Tetris for the NES was the very first version of that game I ever played as a kid (even if only for a little while).
