I remember my Mom bought me the top loader NES as a surprise when it came out because she thought it was a Super Nintendo.
I already had an original NES, but despite her mistake, getting the top loader was great because my original NES was pretty much dead at that point - I didn't even care that it wasn't an SNES, I was just glad to be able to play Nintendo games again.

The Mike Tyson's Punchout, it was actually that their license to use his name ran out, and they didn't want to pay to renew it.

Got an original NES from the goodwill for $4, bought a power cord, an aftermarket controller and Zelda 1 for it, went home, plugged it in, Zelda started right up. I also bought SMB1 & R.C Pro-AM as well and they both start up flawlessly which in total I payed about $40ish for everything. Because people go into it expecting a typical beat-em-up where they just mash the attack button to kill everything, they don't realize there is a strategy to it and things you need to know. The people who complain about the difficulty never seem to know how the mechanics work and that each turtle actually does have different strengths and weaknesses - they just know that Donatello does higher damage so they think everyone else is pointless, then they can't understand why they're getting their ass kicked by enemies he isn't able to hit.

I recently started collecting for the NES again…again! The hook always brings you back…nostalgia. It’s so hard to beat nostalgia. I’ve tried loving other consoles but ultimately this was my first console as a child so I’m back again for another go around. I picked up an Analogue NT mini noir this go around because I’m older and can afford the best at this point. I didn’t hear you guys mention Ninja Gaiden, River City Ransom, Kirbys Adventure, or Duck Hunt? Really it’s hard, the NES was home to so many amazing games. Thanks Mr. Metal for another epic video covering the console that’s closest to my old man heart.

Rad racer, I got a NES from my best friend (where both Nintendo collectors) this chiristmas with Rad racer and it is pretty fun, and probably one of the best racing titles on the NES. So I really would recommend this game for collectors, even if you think it is gonna suck just play it for a while it will be fun.
