Have been a Husky fan since I can remember. Bought a Husky 445e II in 2020 and absolutely love it for general homeowner use. IMHO its very light and has a great powerband.
I think if your bar gets pinched in a tree, the Husky head may not be able to be removed where as the Stihl head can easily be removed to prevent damage to the head. Correct me if I am wrong.
My 590 is a tad faster for way more motor echo is weak on the saw side bud bad walker has a video of three fully built saws the echo at 73cc Stihl at 72 Husqvarna at 71cc Stihl was faster an Husqvarna but echo will always start for you lol

Awesome. What is your favorite thing about the saw??
@@carlsmowerandsaw It fits the bill in many different ways and its easy for me to handle frolm my wheelchair.
Thank you Josh. This helped alot.
Glad to hear it! Which way are you going to go?
Josh nailed it.
Thanks.
I've always been with husky but really looking hard at the wood boss. Grew up with dad using a homelite 210. I still have it. A mean little chainsaw.
I have both Stihl MS 251 and Husqvarna 445 but the Stihl is much more practical! And as a light chainsaw it is very powerful!
Great info. Thanks
Does the cold and warm weather shutter make a difference
Yes. But be careful to only use the cold weather shutter when using below 35°
I grew up on a home lite XL 12
Don’t date yourself 😂
What was the popular sitcom then?
Both are good saws and good Performance. But isnt the Stihl 261 more like a Husqvarna 550? Think they are more comparable with power Output etc.
Yes. 261 and 550 are both the pro saws with roughly 4 hp
Try an Echo, lighter, cheaper, and when ported run better than those two after ported
The flip is great if you use ethanol free gas Ethanol gas makes that cap to swell l like both saws buy one of each 😊
Ethanol does like to mess with the o-rings for sure

You are absolutely correct. Inboard vs Outboard clutch
If you hate a flip gas cap, you have issues.
When they get dirty they'll ruin your day. The husqvarna ones are great because they still have threads.
I hear you!
Or you could buy an echo 590 for the same price Karma and it would be 4.1 horsepower Karma and come with a 5-year warranty!
That is an option
