Molly was already going through a lot being a 14 year old, so for her to go blind, of course she’d be angry and upset. Her friends obviously couldn’t understand what she was going through. Her being that angry person in her teen years wasn’t her fault.

This is exactly what the whole world thinks when it comes to Shane and I hope he sees it himself one day.
When I met him at the book meet, he was SO skinny it’s crazy. I said,” girl, you look skinny today.. you want me to by you some chips to get nice and slim thick?”
I actually think Shane has a very attractive body type. Sure, he’s not as skinny as Ryland or even not as skinny as average. But that’s fine? He’s actually such a nice looking human being

The thing that blew my mind the most so far is when she was talking about visual memory. I had NO IDEA that people who eventually go blind lose the memory of visual things. Thats crazy

I guess it depends on the person? I mean I know your brain is constantly evolving and getting rid of old info. But maybe it depends on how long you had sight for? So in this case she was able to see for 14 years but now doesnt have those visual memories but maybe someone who was sighted for far longer can retain those memories? Not sure but either way its fascinating to me

My dad has the exact same eye disease as Molly (RP) and he’s been blind for 18 years. As soon as he got married he started getting into car crashes and one time he hit a school bus. Luckily there was only a driver on the bus and no one was harmed. I’m only a teenager and I have had to be the parent in my case. My dad has never been able to see me. He had no idea what I look like, or my figure. One time we were walking and he had special glasses and he yelled at me to stop. The lighting was absolutely perfect, and he could finally see me for the first time. He is one of the few blind runners in Canada. He runs the Boston Marathon almost every year, he runs with 2-3 guides. I love him so much, and even though he has made me grow up so fast, there’s nothing I would change about my life. My instagram Is Yannacorn222 And id love if you could get you or Molly in touch with me because I’d love to talk to her. I feel I can get her in touch with my dad and I’d like for them to inspire eachother. I’d also like to show you his news articles and tell you more about him. You probably won’t see this, but with the small hope I have, I hope you will.
