Your analysis vids are always great because it’s very apparent you speak from experience being a high level tournament player yourself, and you’re entertaining to boot.
A while back I saw HookGangGod make a video about how Cooler and Blue Vegeta make a good team with really good synergy, where he had Bluegeta point, Cooler mid, and Piccolo anchor, with all A assists. This was literally prepatch, by the way, where both Bluegeta AND Cooler got huge buffs. So you can tell he's focused on that big synergy, there. And he was talking a lot about how this team was really strong and had really good synergy with each other, and with how Cooler and Bluegeta in particular have really strong synergy. And even with that team comp, you can sorta see this strategy at play that you talked about. Cooler's A assist is a DP, and Piccolo's is a very setup-focused assist. For Oki, Piccolo literally has hellzone oki, and Cooler has a lot of really strong oki in his own right with his divekicks or his level 3 mixups. Meanwhile, Bluegeta has crazy offense and gets a lot of mileage off of Cooler's defensive DP assist. You'd see him switching in and out of his characters a lot as well as using their assists, both in DHC and in team combos. And, again, this was BEFORE they got buffed!
Awesome vid. I knew the basics of assists, like some being good for mix, beams to help in neutral etc, but not to this degree. Really interesting stuff dude, explained clearly as well.
Awesome video man. Enjoy the videos you do a lot. Always super informative. You're also insanely good at this game and I enjoy watching you play as well. ✌️ from Philly
Vanilla Roshi B is imo the 2nd most broken defensive assist in the game, I think vanilla SSJ vegeta had the most broken defensive assist in the game. It was a 45 degree angle assist like vegito A so it was hard to hit him, he spawned behind you so once again hard to hit him. You couldn’t reflect or superdash through it at that time so you were locked in, the blockstun was enormous and you couldn’t see your character much so you could 50/50 with that assist. It had great combo extension capabilities where you were guaranteed to extend your combos off it. It was good in neutral to check your opponent. And to top it all off, it was around in an era where double supers were a thing and it was the easiest assist to extend into double supers with
Best team is any team with 17’s assist. If you have it, your neutral game is automatically deadlier than anyone elses. Of course fusions have ridiculous neutral tools and mix depending on which one, but they can exploit his assist better than anyone.

Then there is Krilin's A rock assist, where you can't hold it and spam, but yet a really great assist! Very technical for sure
Krillin Rock assist is easily top 3 assist in the game, that’s another defensive assist, that assist is busted as shit
Amazing content bro, really, this is kinda of explanatory content that is awesome to see long vídeos, keep up the great work o/

when UI jam session was invincible and roshi B was good, Kazunoko ran both. defensive assists are so good
I kinda miss those days of being able to mash assist out of stagger. But then again this game is already such a cluster fuck of defensive mechanics.
hell yeah dude
In depth 17 guide like u did for Blue goku , teen gohan , base vegeta PLZZZZ
Love the 3rd strike ost
