@@BrothersMake Turned out very well! My particular space was a little different, but the principle was still a basic bracket from which to hang the grinders. I used a simple wooden slat and *tada*, it works great. Serious thanks for the idea/inspiration. Quick and easy -and done!
Love this video. This is so cool , I don't have as many fancy tools as you but it be comes a hassle when trying to protect the tool I have from the kids. I don't really have a work place so every things in a big can. Great job I wish you'd make those for me. Put them on the market and sell them .then tag me when my checks in the mail lol
Outstanding & fantastic project , so simple as I like the square rather than tubular as it is so neat. Thank you for sharing video , from United Kingdom of Great Britain 👍
Might have to make use of these ideas. The square tubing does have a nicer look than the round for the drills but I’m pretty sure both are equally functional. I will have to acquire some more angle grinders though, one would be very lonely though. By the way, just subscribed based on this video. Keep up the great suggestions and I am going to see what else needs to be built. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it Jeffrey! You’re right - the cylindrical stuff works just as well. And you can never have too many angle grinders! Thanks for the support
Genius idea using the square extrusions of PVC! First video I saw of yours, RUclips recommended it to me. I liked and subbed! Now off to see your other stuff instead of working. 😄
Yes you got it exactly. The CA glue and activator just means we can position the blocks and they won’t slide whilst the glue dries. We use this trick on almost all our woodworking projects!
Wowsers! I used to have a rack made of 7 three inch PVC pieces of tubing mounted to a wooden shelf just below my chargers. Now I'm gonna use 4"X 4" mesh wire for my shelves and GOTTA know where'd you get that square PVC tubing. That's just the ticket for my new project. Tell me pls!??
I believe this is 75mm/3” square pvc but any shape or size would work as long as it’s big enough for your drills to fit in. We bought it from B&Q, which is the main hardware store in the UK 👍🏼
@@BrothersMake Didn't say I didn't like it,just wondering where you dug it up from?😀 Anyway you're to young to remember the 80s 😎 I dance to a lot of RUclips videos just ask @mrgeoffreysmith 🕺

Lowes sells 2" PVC downspout which works well. It's Amerimax Contemporary 120-in White Downspout for $10.58 at my local store. Actually, I had to go to the next store because my closer bigger store does not stock it. Go figure. 2" is fine for older 18v tools, but my Porter Cable 20v is a little too big. I'm going to try heating the square tube with a torch and sliding it down over one of those long, skinny funnels to flair the end a little. You can cut it in a chop saw, but cut very slow or it will shatter. A band saw works better. That being said, 3" PVC pipe works well too, it just does not look as good. All the 3" PVC square tube I found online was $$$. Lowes sells 4" square tube that slides over a 4x4, but it's $20 for a 4' piece. Good hunting! www.lowes.com/pd/Amerimax-Contemporary-120-in-White-Downspout/1000244867?cm_mmc=shp-
I see everyone asking where to get the square PVC - HINT: go into the fencing department of any Home Depot or Lowes or Menards - you should see square pickets, square wraps for post , to me it looks like he used something like a 2 1/2" which might not be easy to find.
@@BrothersMake Yes, I actually do. Not the club music but I think some of the best rock music came out of the '80s. I also lost many brain cells during that period in my life, lol!
What gives? If you can afford that table band-saw and that huge workshop - and all those other tools - you sure can afford to buy a proper storage unit
Best pvc tool hanger video. The square looks cleaner and better than the round pipes. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much!
So simple but effective. Brilliant
It’s so simple yet so versatile . Great job
Thank you!
Outstanding project ten out of ten.
Many thanks for taking the time to share your ideas and experience. Love the idea for hanging the grinders! I think I need to build one this weekend.
That’s awesome! Let us know how it turns out

Oddly satisfying. Nice video. 💪🏽🤘🏽👍🏽

I used 3’’ PVC pipe in which I cut a slot to hang drills and screwer.
Way beyond excellent !!!

Wth!! This is rocket science!
Haha not really! Just scrap bits of wood and pipe screwed together
Mustard bottle for wood glue? Genius! 🤣🤣
Looking to build something like this. Very intuitive, very easy to follow....well done!
Very clever with the square pvc. I enjoyed your fabrication techniques. Question: did you lose access to the space behind the tools?
Nope - we can access that from the other side of the workbench as it’s on wheels 👍🏼

Where do you get this material? Couldn't find it at home Depot.
TechMAP just our local hardware store here in the uk
Tidy job lads 👍
Cheers Alan!
Great ideas. Did you use wood glue on risers for strength but what looked like CA glue on the ends with an activator (1:10)

It came from B&Q which is a big hardware store here in the UK

Thanks! It’s square PVC down pipe - super cheap!
The big box stores where I am sell it as 4” pvc fence posts.

Nice...

Whats the different glue you are using on the ends of the wood? Also can you tell me what the spray is as well? Thank you
Cool music
Thanks!
Nice and simple, my cup of tea. Did you just use a normal cut off disk on the angle grinderfor the pvc?
Thanks! it was just whatever what was in the grinder at the time so probably a regular cutoff disk 👍🏼
What size PVC was that
What size is the square pvc pipe and where did you buy it? Nice job

We got it from a hardware store in the UK
Awesome! Just one question. What are the dimensions of the pvc?
I think they are 3” square tubes
Love the the project, but I can't find 3" and 4" square PVC tubing ! Where did u get it and do u know where I can get some here in the USA ??
We’re in the UK so not sure where you can find it I’m afraid. It will also work with cylindrical tubing though!
@@BrothersMake Thanks for the response. I have used round 3" PVC before, but the square tubing takes the project to a much higher level !!
Yes we agree! Was happy to have found it when we did. Hope you manage to find some!
Almost look like the pvc post I used for my pvc fence.. look in the fence section at Lowe’s or homedepot

Where do you find Square PVC?
When you use the tools to make the tools to hold them. Also, that L cut was impressive... a router wouldn’t work ?
Toolception! It would have but this way was super quick!
I sure wish people would have commentary and explain what they're doing it makes for a much better video
Most of our videos are like that but our ‘Quick Cuts’ series is just for short quick projects that we do in between the main videos
Soul Train called, they want their music back.
I'm guessing this is a metric-sized PVC tube, right? what is the width in mm?
Not entirely sure the exact size but I think it’s around 70-75mm square 👍🏼
Where did you buy it the pvc square for the drills.??
From the main large hardware store in the UK, B&Q
Dislike the tools, love the project!
Great idea! Can we just take a moment to throat punch the one person that thumbs down your video!
Maybe they have an issue with organising? 😂 Thanks for the comment
Now all you need is some decent tools.

Should of thrown a charging station in there with the different batteries
There wasn’t any extra room but a good idea!
But can you make a power tool?
Won’t the pvc gauge a wear line in your tool ..
We’ve been using these constantly for well over a year and there is no sign of any wear 👍🏼
duh.....when you see it you just wanna slap yourself for all the time wasted messing around with other "simple" storage options for drills
Where did you buy that square pvc? nice project.
We bought it from B&Q - sold as square guttering 👍🏼
What is the dimensions I have some 4in x 4in pvc post but it’s to big the drill is like a hot dog down a hallway
J P I think ours was 65mm square
Whats the actual use for a *square*pipe? O.o
No idea! 😅
@@BrothersMake me neither. Thanks 😬
Who sells square PDF pipe?
That's not but I don't see myself removing all that stuff every time I need to put something under the bench.
The bench is open on the other side and on wheels
@@BrothersMake Ahh thank you for clearing that up. Make sense now.
You should make them to sell, would make a killing

Nope! It’s a common solution
If all you want is grinders and screw guns this is ok.
Sexy storage!
Drop the cringy music, and let you doing the work be your music.
