His architectural outline is pretty good and his phrases connect with one another. His ballad 4 played a year later at his piano teacher's studio sounded more poetic and fluid, also found on youtube.
Bravo! A mature interpretation, really enjoyable. The technique did not overshadow the emotional expression which is unfortunately common among the young pianists.

Au contraire, Yundi Li met beaucoup d'émotion dans ce qu'il joue. Pour avoir entendu une multitude de pianiste, Yundi Li est pour moi le plus grand pianiste au monde. Il faut l'avoir vu jouer Prokofiev puis passer à Chopin pour le réaliser.
