I appreciate that you explain well different functionalities of different tools in Photoshop instead of just making a video of using different tools without explaining why you used them and what such tools do. Thanks for teaching these things!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to share you knowledge and talent. I really appreciate it. Please do not get disheartened by some of the petty comments from people who are not contributing as you are, or who's egos have far out grown their talent. Thank you once again...
That final technique that you showed us, Kelvin -- the one where you converted all of your previously-created lighting effects into a Selection, and thence into a Layer Mask on a 2-stop over-exposed version of the original image -- blew my Ps-fledgling mind! I took notes, and will definitely be putting that technique to good use. In fact, I am going to guard it closely, as my own private Ps secret -- just between you and me ... and all the other people who benefited from this video. Thanx, again!
Awesome stuff! I love the fact you use so many keyboard shortcuts :) I learnt a few new one with this video. Very interesting technique creating a mask with all your lighting effects, I had never thought of that before! Continue the great stuff!
amazing,,,please could you put more tutorial architecture for bigginer like me,, where can b e seen all the progress and wich comand you use,, congratulation.. is awesome.. thank you
Nice job! is it possible to do a video where you have to match image but it's in a different color space. Meaning Im trying to my match my untreated image to the same image but its been color treated, the whole image.
Hi, thank you for the video. i wanted to ask you how did you adjust the image pf a smart object? when I do min eat won't let me. All the image adjustments appear grey
I'm not trying to be knit picky but the way the light reflects from the real picture onto the floor seems to be a different perspective from the light beams. If you changed the way the light beams came in and crossed the beams, would that not work?
While the technique is solid the execution on this particular image is terrible. You have areas where the light is clearly coming in through the windows, that is where your light rays should be falling. There should only be one light flare/bright spot not one on each window. And perhaps you should have used noise instead of rendering clouds to make it appear there were dust particulates instead of smoke. Sorry man, it looks all wrong and unnatural to the eye.
Thank you for that excellent tutorial, Kelvin! Two questions: Why did you convert the image to greyscale? Will all the techniques that you showed us still work for a color image?
Hello sir I tried using the gaussian blur but it actually doesny blur the edges of my selection at all. It just fades the selection still leaving the edges sharp. I am using cc in windows Is there any solution to it
Thank you for sharing............It is appreciated.............I get the point made that the exercise did not need to take 24 Minutes, but that is a matter for each individual to consider. Much is dependent on what we already know (or more to the point- do not know) A lot of information (some reasonably advanced) has been crammed into the exercise, which may make it potentially confusing to new users..........Thank you for sharing
Not bad, if a little heavy-handed. Taught me about Post Crop Vignetting in the Camera Raw Filter, which was a life-saver. Thank you! Maybe consider changing the D on your intro ident as it looks kinda like an ampersand? ;)
What version of PS are you using? In my Cs6 i cant find the camera raw filter under the filter section so i was kinda wondering if that's another software you incorporated in your PS
