    Can’t say it enough, thank you for putting up videos of mods or maintenance to your LC and literally any LC500 content other than a straight up reviews ha ha. Best wishes on your work!

      Couldn’t agree more! There’s a lack of LC content out here. Trying to fill the gap :)

    Thanks so much for making this video. I, too, have bought the Beat-Sonic Nav/DVD bypass harness and front camera harness. Got through the wiring grommet in the upper left of the driver's floorboard. Almost unreachable but was able to get a pointed coat hanger to punch through and pushed up next to the fender. Taped the camera cable, oiled it up and it slid right through. (Second set of hands helped). Had to use fiberoptics to find it as it is under some kind of box with hard tubing. Luckily it slid right up where we wanted when fed in about a foot. Anyway, since there is no one I could find to do this in Kansas City, I took it on myself. Your video gave me enough confidence to do it. But now I'm stuck as I can't seem to get the long nav screen off after removing 4 bolts including the one next to the passenger vent as you showed. Your video then jumped to when it was down so I couldn't see how it came off. Can't get anything under it to pry but I'm afraid to break it. Any suggestions. I saw that you didn't need to take off the dash pad. My panels were extremely scary tight, especially the 2 over the speedometer and over back of the glove box to the rear as well as the right side of the console. Any further suggestions would be much appreciated as I'm at an impasse👍.
    Again thanks for all your trouble making the video!

      Sorry to get back so late. Hope it worked out, but this took me some time too and it wasn't pretty so I didn't even get to record it. But the best thing to do is use a plastic pry tool and gently keep prying and it will eventually come out. I didn't end up removing the entire screen, just pushed it forward enough to get through the back.

    Finallllyyyyy somebody messing with a Lc500. I think as a pre-owned car for the price depreciation, this is under appreciated car and needs more mods support!!

    Wow that's a lot of work. Thank you for this. I want a front camera too, so I'll use your video as a guide.

    This was great to see the inner workings of the car. I'm looking for an LC with the performance package and I am trying to see all of the things I might need now so I can do them all at once. The front camera was on my list because that hood is long and I don't want to crack that front facia. All be watching for more videos!

    I can't believe that the front and rear dash cams are still not part of default packages in these high end cars. Actually should be default for all cars.

    I had a front camera installed on my LS 600hL and it took about 4 hours - you need someone with skills to do it. I am looking for LC and I will have a front camera installed as well - just need a capable shop in Denver to do it.

    Did you break any clips in the process? What tools are needed? I'm considering doing this myself but worried about breaking clips, plastic etc.

      @cartune_netwerk  7 месяцев назад

      Fortunately no clips broken. Get a plastic pry tool, ratchet and socket set, a couple towels to prevent scratches, screw drivers/drill

      Haha it wasn’t too bad. I’ve done many radio/stereo equipment installs in other cars. Figured I’d try this. Only thing I had trouble with was wiring through the firewall so I had a shop do that.

    Do you think that any stereo installation shop can handle this fairly easily? I'm concerned about them having to remove so much of the front console and then putting all back together again and causing damage.

      Yeah, if I can do it in my driveway a decent audio shop should have no problem as long as they're organized

    A Lexus Takumi put this together and you definitely are not a takumi ripped it apart....... incoming broken clips, rattles and ill fitting panels. I am a dealer certified technician and this would still be a job I wouldn't do to my LC500

      @cartune_netwerk  7 месяцев назад

      And yet I have no broken clips or rattles. Amazing what you can do with your hands if you’re organized

    Omg, seems like people just do not know how to drive these days. They don't know or are even capable of backing up without a backup camera and now need a front camera on their vehicle because they can't even pull into a parking space without damaging their vehicle. Perhaps a few driving lessons would be a good investment!
