    Dual n back definitely worked for me. I find myself keeping up with convos easier and read faster.

    The key to this game is that you can't think about anything else but the game, it's almost the same as meditation, it teaches you to optimize your brain and that's why afterwards you feel that things come easier for you, it's as if you were a computer and you had 5 programs open working at the same time in your day to day life, so what you do with this game is train your brain to close the 4 programs that don't help you achieve your goals with a single open program so that your PC is better optimized, then everything will be more fluid and easier.

    What he is saying is this:
    If a shape( A) or colour ( black )shows up in a position ( say the bottom left corner), and to be clear a sound would go with the shape or colour, you keep notice of it. If after N(2 or 3 or whatever )steps ahead the same shape/ colour pops up in the exact same place as N steps ago with the exact same sound made, there is a match there and you press something to that effect. If all the three things don't align in exactly the same way as described there isn't a match. And to be clear the N steps ago can be challenging for some of you because you are used to the idea of something ago to be time. I did struggle with that a little till I dialed into it😅. I hope this helps somebody.

    I like how you experiment. Regarding music, I think many people use it to focus their emotions. I’m addicted to music, but I’m working on getting it under control with meditation, etc.
    In terms of sleep, in my case, I often used music as a stimulant. One downside is that you can’t sleep well at night. So, after a long time, I took a break from music, and my sleep is much better.
    I do quad no back. N-back is a bit stressful. I like how it trains my focus without stressing me out. Later, I will tackle higher levels.
    You could test your memory with certain apps to know what level you’re at.

      I stopped it since I was moving. Once I have apartment leased for the long term I will pick it back up.
