@@Sam-yr8ls They do have a massive Jack Skeleton puppet! Some of the stage shows in Disney World utilize it - look it up, it’s fantastic!

This is one of the coolest costumes I’ve seen from Disney in a while! He looks exactly like how he is in the movie.
The bell, the dark tones, menacing tempo, the distortion. Perfection. Absolutely perfect. Even the outro music is melancholy and uneasy. Just some type of dark magic that’s mysterious. I love it.
I seriously need Disney release this "Remember me" ver. I got chills every time i heard it, speacially with the first one.

Came for Mr. Oogie Boogie, stayed for Ernesto De La Cruz. At first I was doubting going down the trail but I was so happy I did. It was spectacular
I think this is one of the greatest costumes Disney has ever done. It just feels so much more genuine. It's not fully animated but not real in any way. I hope they can give Jack Skellington a makeover to be more like this.
i’m curious to see how they’d do that. jack skellington’s head in the movie is just a circle so i imagine its harder to make that look good on a costume.

@@blacklikethesun Agreed, it's preferable to take in the atmosphere of the performance in all of its glory without interruptions or outside noises like clapping or screaming. Even so, you could argue that recording on your phone is a downgrade that can ruin an experience as well like this. Although I don't mind the video, I wish people would watch the performance rather than just the recording.
Because it's rude to interrupt an artist during their performance with shrill screeches!

This makes it sound like a Villain telling everyone that they can't escape him. A kind of "You might be able to run, but I will always be near."
I seriously thought this was CGI. The makeup is so freaking good and the costume is amazing.
And the actors performance was creepy and definitely reflected his character motivations. If I didn't see the movie and I didn't know who he was, I would definitely know he was the bad guy just from his performance alone.

I think the top of the jaw is fake but the bottom is the actors actual jaw with prosthetics on

I dont believe thats just makeup. Theres prosthetics involved but i dont understand how hos mouth is moving like that. How his lip stays above his teeth????? I NEED ANSWERS DISNEY!!
Foam or silicone prosthetic pieces blended into a circle around the mouth that is painted so the lips can move more naturally. Same around the eyes.
With it being a soft prosthetic makeup other features can bend and emote like the eyebrows etc too.
The teeth are just click in denture pieces. (Think like vampire teeth for Halloween)
Definitely pre recorded song bc I'm sure the teeth would impede sound.
But honestly this is a dope ass scene all around.
