Some of you had questions about the aspect ration of "after" images. I prefer a wider crop, similar to what a medium format camera would produce, so something around 4x5, but I don't don't want to crop my images. So instead I stretch the corners of the image. Here is a tutorial on how i do that ruclips.net/video/F5XJkArWIC8/видео.html
Hello. Have a nice time. I intend to help the growth of people's culture with the videos I make, and I make these videos alone and without sponsorship. But because I have few subscriptions, my videos are not seen. Please subscribe me even for a limited time or even support me by introducing my video. thank you
This is actually my problem talking to the model saying "wow! that's really pretty, you look great! amazing! etc" this always comes on my mind but never comes out of my mouth!🤣🤣🤣 I'm an introvert/shy photographer, I wish I had that kind of confidence. You're an amazing artist Irene, such an inspiration.😊
The secret winner of this video was the RP and perhaps the RF nifty 50 mm lens. That combo was able to get great results that compared very well to the R5 and the L lens on it. Great capture Irene!

I have the RP and when I capture a random person portrait if they ask me when I’m out and about shooting when they see their picture on the LCD screen their expressions are priceless
Irene!! These are STUNNING!! And I love the excitement and encouragement you express in your shoots! Who doesn’t want to hear they’re looking gorgeous and doing a great job?! Don’t pay attention to internet trolls!
You’re 100% right about being vocal during the shoot. It’s always good to let the subject know they are doing well. They’ll be happier and more responsive when they know they are making beautiful images. Great shots by the way! Love your style!
Irene you have the best Playlist during your videos, I absolutely love it, gives the photo shoot a nice vibe. Keep up the great work. Also thank you for doing more budget friendly videos with the RP.
"I'm sorry tree, but you're dead anyways!" LOL the fact that you 'talk' to nature means you care about it, so no harm done haha! Everything was pure beauty, Shantal is gorgeous, the fall colors and light and I LOVED the styling for this one. Beautiful production and photography, Irene!
I don't know who recommended your RUclips channel to me, but I am eternally grateful ... I love your photographs and your simplicity in directing models. Huge hug from Córdoba, Argentina.
I recently got my RP, then paired it with a 24-70mm f2.8. I am a Nikon shooter, so I'm still in the works with the camera buttons and functions. Great tutorial!...absolutely amazing! 👏👏👏
Ten times thumb UP for you both! What amazing and wonderful pictures you made! Shantal is amazing! And i also speak with my models and show them pictures during the shooting! It´s absolut necessary for good work! Thanx and byyye! 😍👍😉🌹 Wolf
Beautiful images Irene, just goes to show how natural light can enhance photography, would love to have seen how the 1.2 performed on the RP and vice versa 1.8 on the R.
You’re very encouraging with all the responses while you shoot! The people complaining must have never been on a real photoshoot, because as a model you feel very vulnerable and dead silence is not helpful!
I love when you use the RP. I feel so much better about my purchase and its potential. 😉 I'm going to just need you, to start reviewing laptops now and I'll be set. 🤣🤣
That 85mm f1.2 is magical in the hands of someone with your talent. That dreamy bokeh and those autumn colours have created some really beautiful shots of gorgeous Shantal. Amazing work 👍
Irene, you are such a good photographer! I love how you guide the model and composing the photos...just simply amazing!!! I wish I can be as good as you.
Stunning work as always Irene, very professional videos too with nice music. Ignore any stupid comments regarding your feedback to models as I’m sure the models appreciate it. Looking forward to your next shoot :)
These photos are just fantastic, the fall colors are great but the adjustments you add to them makes all the difference, it's not too much, just perfect. You're been add it for a long time and it shows, as usual love your work great job.
Nice shooting. I agree about the need to be vocal during shoots both for portrait and wedding commissions…The RP would certainly suffice in any situation and I can buy two or we can spend more on glass. Beautiful model !
At workshops, where I get to work with models, I find professional models like Shantal know many poses that flatter them and make good photographs. What's missing is what you, the current photographer. is looking for and what you like. They're stars at producing the look that's needed. While I'm not adept at Directing, it is because of my feedback, many times, at multiple model shoots, I'll have several of them gravitate to me. No illusions at 77 years old, I'll ask why? They all say, because I'm humorous, engaged, enjoying the shoot and they appreciate the feedback. They also encourage me to share their shots, because part of their compensation is getting sample photos of them in different locations, light and costumes. You do this so well Irene. You're sincere, and that "catch" of breath is perfect to convey a great "look" with the perfect light on her face and hair. I learn a lot from every video. And you encouraged me to fit an RP into my "later in life" budget.
Another lovely video. Amazing pictures! I just want to say thank you for your videos. They are so inspiring and I learn a lot of things from so many of them. Even the little things, from watching you work really help me improve in my own work. So excited to go out and take photos.
First of all, the results are enchanting! Absolutely fantastic. Secondly, I very much appreciate the fact that you show both the edited and raw versions. And lastly, it is a joy to see you work. Thank you for sharing these bts videos
R5 is in a league of its own. But the RP is definitely crushing it too. But hat's off to your wonderful photography and eye for great angles and best locations within locations. You're simply amazing. Thanks for the superb experience👌👌💕💕
Irene e da un bel po'di tempo che ti guardo lavorare . Ti voglio fare i miei complimenti , sei molto brava il tuo modo di fotografare ti caratterizzaza e ti distingue . Brava 👏💐 . Mi scuso se non conosco l'inglese . Buon lavoro
The bokeh of the RF85 f1.2 is softer, more creamy. The bokeh of the RF 50 f1.8 is more nervous. I don't talk about the dof but the rendering. You are on the top of your art.
@ "Yes," "good," comments: I perceive this as encouragement and good interaction with your models, moreover as an acknowledgement of the work of the model! Indeed, this attitude is the reason I subscribed!
Irene I adore your shoots with Shantal as you two work so lovely and beautifully together. I love this fall shoot and the outfit you had her in as they were just magically breath taking and love how the fall surrounds you worked in to get some beautiful shots of Shantal. She is a beautiful model and you have the gift to just make all her shots just simply gorgeous in ever shoot you both do. Thank you so much for allowing us (me) to see you capture the beauty that surrounds you and the lovely Shantal as your gift is a blessing to see and learn how to create such beautiful photos as you do. For the R5 is beyond my budget but looking at the R6 what would you say about this camera, as would it be a great middle level budget camera? As I understand and have researched between R5 and R6 other than 8k and 45 mp over the 4k and 20mp I see the cameras to be about the same in AF and the other features making the R6 the better budget camera for me and give me almost as good a camera that should last me quite a while as budget for the future is going to be slim now that I'm retired. Be safe Irene and Shantal as look forward to seeing many more beautiful shoots you both do as you truly have a magical connection and create some gorgeous and beautiful photos together. 👼👼🌹🌹🌹🌹🤗❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I 100% agree on being extremely vocal with your model I just had to shoot myself recently and my model was very very nervous and me being very vocal with her helps her relax a lot so whoever said that you're saying it too much clearly doesn't shoot portraits or work with models
Beautiful pictures even if the "After" looks clearly better than reality and while I agree and even do it to some extend, I sometime feel like cheating ^^ As for the encouragement with the "uhum, yes, just like this", it's funny but it does help boost the model's confidence and hey, it's exactly the same in bed! About the video, while I love those back scene videos, I would suggest for new ones to keep the music on the same level as the rest of the video because we set the volume to be good for when you're talking and then BANG super loud music forcing me to turn it down, then up again to hear you, back and forth several time :/ I also think it would be much better to set the Before/After side by side AND on a black background just like none of us edit or watch pictures on white background. Black is better for eyestrain and better seeing contrast :)
Your pics are so amazing!!! I love your editing! It’s so gorgeous, that’s one thing I need to learn better, wish u had some corses on your editing process!! But love your videos ty!!!
Wow I feel bad for not seeing that!! But you are an amazing photographer and I absolutely love your work!! I’m now going to go watch some of those vids!! Ty for responding!! Can’t wait to see more!!
Absolutely love your work, you capture amazing photos, this video just shows it’s not the camera it’s the person behind it, keep up the great content, really inspiring 👌🏻😊 Merry Christmas too 😊
This goes to show that the lens makes a difference, but the biggest difference is the photographer. Yes, the more expensive lens has better rendering of the out of focus areas but if you don't see them side by side one would still love the less expensive lens ones. The post edits are also worth noting here. Any video planned on how you are achieving that warm look without over saturating the skin? Great work Irene as always. Loved the camera prop.
Better? I would just say different and a great argument that light, composition, artistic vision and the effort you put in with your models are more important than gear. Personally, I would like the option of having either look, so I have f/1.4 lenses. But I really like the look with the 50 f/1.8 and would pick that many times, but there are other times I would also pick the dreamy bokeh images with the 85 f/1.2. Excellent images
I love this video. Awesome backgrounds aand a trully amazing model. Please don't ever try to please everyone. Do you and what works for you. And what you do works very well. Oh and did I say I LOVE this video!!!

I was gonna ask you how you stretch the background but you already had a video about it, thanks!
Hi, Irene. Can you explain how do you do so sharp images when you use 1.2 or 1.8?
@@tanyaleaf9165 R5 and RP have eye and face detection, no need to do anything particular to get sharp images.

I actually enjoy the mmhmm and yesses!? I need a soundtrack of Irene just being excited about capturing beautiful shots lol
Haha that's easy! I have plenty of material
also ooowwwuuu
True its kinda asmr tbh
The secret winner of this video was the RP and perhaps the RF nifty 50 mm lens. That combo was able to get great results that compared very well to the R5 and the L lens on it. Great capture Irene!
Thanks for using the RP. I have the R as well. I appreciate you still using these cameras. They are still very capable.

I’m meant to be editing but I’m sitting here absolutely hypnotised by this shoot. Incredible, as always!!

The things i enjoy most about your videos are your model selection and poses: they are so elegant. I also like that you do a lot of different themes.
Ten times thumb UP for you both! What amazing and wonderful pictures you made! Shantal is amazing! And i also speak with my models and show them pictures during the shooting! It´s absolut necessary for good work!
Thanx and byyye! 😍👍😉🌹 Wolf
Hi Irene! I used your link to join PPA. I was surprised the link still worked after 3 years! Awesome! Saved $25! THANK YOU! 🙏
That’s great!
Beautiful images Irene, just goes to show how natural light can enhance photography, would love to have seen how the 1.2 performed on the RP and vice versa 1.8 on the R.

These are amazing photographs!! 🤩🤩
So professional, and the model is so lovely, very nice collab
You can barely tell the difference between the r5 and rp.
Phenomenal shots.
wow beautiful shooting ,I love the beautiful ray of sunshine that lands on her beauty ,magnificent ,pretty model
Stunning work as always Irene, very professional videos too with nice music. Ignore any stupid comments regarding your feedback to models as I’m sure the models appreciate it. Looking forward to your next shoot :)

Can you do a video about how you edited those pics?🔥🤩🤩 Soooooo GORGEOUS
Cutting the wings for RP not using that with the 85mm 1.2 but even yet both are really beautiful, best sample review for rp on all youtube, congrats!
Nice shooting. I agree about the need to be vocal during shoots both for portrait and wedding commissions…The RP would certainly suffice in any situation and I can buy two or we can spend more on glass. Beautiful model !

r5 +85 1.2 is absolutely winner !)) and girl-model is fantastik !!! I love her 😍😍😍
Wow... Fabulous photos as always.. and your post production is just awesome! Such rich warm colors, even in your opening video!
R5 is in a league of its own. But the RP is definitely crushing it too. But hat's off to your wonderful photography and eye for great angles and best locations within locations. You're simply amazing. Thanks for the superb experience👌👌💕💕
Thanks so much for sharing! I look forward to your videos. The colors in this shoot were so beautiful!!!
The yes and uhum is much needed, as you said makes the model feel confident and help with the communication. So don't stop for nothing hahahaha
Another great vídeo! I also talk constantly with the models!
Your fall color shoot is just amazing.
The model is so gorgeous ❤️
I agree...being vocal with your model is extremely important!!I'm a beginner and have learned so much from your videos!!Also I'm a fellow Ukrainian 🇺🇦
Awesome photographs with an exceptional model. Great content, thanks for the video and knowledge.
Irene e da un bel po'di tempo che ti guardo lavorare . Ti voglio fare i miei complimenti , sei molto brava il tuo modo di fotografare ti caratterizzaza e ti distingue . Brava 👏💐 . Mi scuso se non conosco l'inglese .
Buon lavoro
Stunningly beautiful,,, and the backlighting was superb
I cann't stop watching.
It's really amazing.
The bokeh of the RF85 f1.2 is softer, more creamy. The bokeh of the RF 50 f1.8 is more nervous. I don't talk about the dof but the rendering. You are on the top of your art.
I just ordered the RP with the RF 50mm and I am SO stoked to put it to work after watching this video!
@ "Yes," "good," comments: I perceive this as encouragement and good interaction with your models, moreover as an acknowledgement of the work of the model! Indeed, this attitude is the reason I subscribed!
Those colors are so nice. The Canon 85mm I like the look of that lens better but the 50mm is still really good.
0:50 - Blair's preppy style I absolutely love. She has an amazing sense of style.
Love what you do, I am watching your videos every day! Thank you for sharing
The "HUH! " sound when you get a nice pose is cute

I love your work Irene! Thanks !!!
Your works are amazing! For aspiring photographer like me it is super inspiring! ♥️
Love you and your photography too Irene.
I love how she is deep into it . Respect 🙏🏿
I’m impressed how much is still in focus while shooting wide open on that 85! 🔥 Amazing shots & edits!
Both you and model were extra! Good job 👍🏾
I've noticed how you never out pose the model. AWSOME
Nice shoot. Beautiful model. Thanks

To this day, this is the best canon EOSRP comparison
