- Hey All! I am very happy I got this request, as I grew up with Tears for Fears' popular music as a kid in the 80's. I'm glad they are still making music!

I enjoyed your reaction and commentary to this. Tears for Fears also have released two more new singles: 'No Small Thing' and 'Break the Man.' They have toured pretty steadily since reuniting back in 2000 (almost 22 years ago!) but this album was about 17 years in the making. They finally finished it in late 2020. They said they sat together in a room with acoustic guitars, a process they hadn't used in decades, and that's when the album really began to be what they wanted it to be. I, for one, can't wait to hear the new album. They are also touring in 2022.

This song EASILY could have been on Songs From the Big Chair, but this whole album is worth a listen. Damn good stuff from one of my two favorite 80s bands. So glad they're back.

I used to watch them practice when I was a kid. I recorded a request to Radio 1 to play one of their early songs, great band.
Have loved them since Songs From The Big Chair. I'd recommend you watching them perform this live on Siriusxm. It's so good..

I never expected them to put another album out. The beginning reminds me of the group “Cut Copy”.

wasn't sure what to expect from this, it's been a while since listening to them, but pleasantly surprised, really nice...last time I saw anything Tears For Fears related until this, was Curt and his daughter doing an acoustic version of Mad World..I remember the video for Head Over Heals being quite funny...my personal favorite from them was Sowing The Seeds Of Love

They have released two further new songs. No Small Thing is like nothing they've ever done before, it has Roland on vocals and starts with a beautiful accoustic guitar, before climbing into all sorts of mayhem. It's a great song that references climate change, covid, riots (BLM?) and must be listened to alongside the video which is very hard hitting. The third new release is Break The Man which has Curt on vocals, it reminds me a lot of Advice From The Young At Heart, the song is about empowering woman. Both songs are great in their own way, Break The Man is more popy. I hope you can review these two new songs, I'd love to hear your views, especially on No Small Thing, but be prepared, it's TFF like you've never heard them before.
