Thanks for the tear down. Master key IR will always pass through the inductance coil and start a vehicle. Fault finding is easy. The question is to why it faulted/ resolution / solution and improvement ! Three factors in protocols with those keys. RF, IR and coil-inductance. Now about that LCR tester.....
Nice work! I don't understand why people use WD40 on a electronic lock. I repaired many W204 EIS where people spray WD40. Even some real mechanics do it...
Hello, i have watched your videos and i can see that you know what you are doing. Impressive.. well, reason why i found these videos was that i have problem with my MB C200CDI 2004 automatic. I have esp faulty on screen, trans stuck on park and code 1201. Sometimes it goes off and i can use trans normally but so far most used srewdriver trick. Because it sometimes is working normally, i assume its not maybe very big problem, i really think im right. Have got it tested with normal scanner, not star yet. If im honest, its driving me crazy, used so much time to figure out whats wrong. I hope that maybe you could know something. Btw, many people say that its brake light switch, there is no and and brakelight works no problem. Pleace, save me:D
Never had that issue... The code without a description means very little without further research... That said, the brake switch does usually have one as redundancy... check live data as well... 👍👍👍

Muito bom video e bem explicado...ja agora por curiosidade ja alguma vez reparou algum painel de instrumentos de uma ford smax/ galaxy/ mondeo mk4 com o lainel lcd ( dos vermelhos) com pixeis a dar so de um lado ...ja mudei o painel mas continua igual mas se oscilar a placa pcb ele fica ok presumo que seja alguma solda "fria" mas nao sei se tento dar um retoque em todos os pontos ou se sera algum componente mais elaborado...sei que diagnóstico ha distância nao vale muito ( sou mecatronico de profissão) mas podia ser que me desse umas luzes afim de poupar dinheiro ...senao la tera de ir para um especialista...obrigado e bom natal pra si e para os seus...pois o mais importante é a familia e a saude...abraços de um algarvio

Não quero estar a publicitar mas a empresa ACTRONICS repara esse tipo de clusters (painéis de instrumentos). Mas só pode ser um mecânico com negócio aberto a enviar para lá o material. Não aceitam nada que venha de Privados. Já lá foi arranjada a minha unidade de ABS Bosch dum Audi e está a funcionar muito bem.

They think wd 40 have a solution for everything. They don't know its shouldn't be sprayed on electronic stuff.
