    Amit, I'm booked at the HEVA clinic, which is (roughly) in the same neighborhood as Vera, at the end of August . Just finished watching all of your videos, your info was either a) exactly what they told me, or b) answered all the details I was stressing over - when/how to sleep, what to roughly expect at the surgical center, hats, and how odd I'd look on the flight home.
    Thank you for putting this odyssey together, you've really benefited a lot of people and made it less scary. Excellent videos all around, informative and personable. 😎👍

      Yea but the plane ride home is brutal, your head looks like a melon and not many people on the flight back to the states have bloody heads😅 my head looked like an egg and when I had to wait through customs in an hour long line my head was throbbing. Not looking forward to that when I get my 2nd HT soon

      It's pretty common (at least at the turkey airport). When I did my first transplant I flew to Singapore right after (12 hr flight), was brutal and had loads of ppl staring, but once I got home It was a mere after thought! Just gotta get through that initial phase and you'll be less worried!

    Hi Amit,
    your videos are very helpful, I had my hair transplant done back in February, my doctor suggested to use Minoxidil, I used it for month and half or so, but my scalp skin was getting irritated and lots of redness, after consulting the issue with doctor, he told me to stop using the Minoxidil, I saw in your videos that you are using some kind of serum, did the serum help with hair growth and is it available in USA.? Thanks

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  Год назад +1

      reddness is normal, especially at the beginning of your recovery stages. But its too much and the doc has recommended to be off it, then may be best to go with that. As for the serum, there are many different ones out there, but lately i've seen one that has some good reviews that I think could be useful. I'll link it here for you!

      Evsia will depend on your passport (best to look that up). I have a singapore passport so a visa wasn't needed, I was able to enter thr country without any issues

    How do you pay foor the food in the hotel?
    In cash or do you register your credit card at the desk?

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  Год назад +1

      I paid by credit card! They usually take a deposit at first then you just order what you'd like and it's billed to thay at the end and eventually rhey return the difference. You can however also just lay by cash everytime room service is brought to you, or at the restaurants

    Im 3 and a half weeks post op, and had a couple of questions.. due to the hot weather ive been sweating quite alot under my hat as im protecting ny head fron the sun but in turn that causes me to sweat a fair amount.. i also bumped my head earlier today on my transplant area. This has all occured after 3 weeks, as the first 2 weeks i spent off work and isolated sleeping in the dracula set up...
    Are my grafts likely to be okay? I have started shedding and thats heen happening from around 2 and a half weeks onwards.
    Thanks for any help

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  Год назад +1

      Yes! Your grafts would be fine by now. I wouldn't worry too much as by now they're been cemented in your scalp. If you see anything falling it's most likely the shedding phase more than anything else

    It’s 3weeks post hair transplant and my transplanted area becomes super oily and my forehead is also become oily and got lot of small acne / pimples all over the forehead near the hair line .. do you know what’s going on here ?? Thanks

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  Год назад +3

      Thats completely normal! Pimples forming is a good sign. Generally means the hairs a re slowly growing through your scalp. Have patience and it'll be fine!

    Quick question why guys not doing hair transplant in the Uk is it quality or cost

    • @amitposthair
      @amitposthair  Год назад

      It's mostly cost for me. Initially i was after quality but at the same time u didn't wanna spend like 15k-20k on this. Turkey for me as provided its both cost effective and outputs decent quality for what I was looking for!

      I am getting my hair transplant done in the U.K. I had 5-6 consultations with different clinics all based in central London. The prices varied from £4500-£25k. If you have extensive hair loss most clinics in the U.K. will recommend a mega session where the transplant is done over two consecutive days. They tend not to do over 2500 grafts in a single day from my consultations.
