@@amitposthair Hey Amit, great video again. I'm going to Vera Clinic in about a year or so, and I know it's a super long shot, but if you'd want to consider going with someone for your second transplant, I would entertain that idea. I understand that you lived in Singapore! Next week I’m having my hair transplants with a clinic here for 4500 grafts. Yes it’s not cheap with a price tag of $23,000! 😆 Hopefully all turns out well.
I would actually. I flew back immediately after the 4th day, and it was a little tought not gonna lie with all the travelling. But by the 6th-7th day i felt better. So if you get a chance, maybe stay an extra day or so it may help!
Hi Amit, very nice informative video mate (I am looking forward I am getting mine next year on the same clinic). Do you still need to maintain taking Finasteride everyday. Even after 6 months (and beyond) of you hair transplant ?
Hey man! Thanks for watching the video :) I currently do take it every day. 1mg as prescribed by the doc. I do plan to keep on taking it as long as i am seeing results on my head. You can choose not to, but I think if you've chosen to go as far as getting a hair transplant, you definitely want to keep your hair, and finasteride helps with that. It's highly recommended, but not a requirement. Also if youre looking to get your transplant from the same clinic, you can sign up with the link in my description! :D
So I know this was posted a bit ago , but wanted to ask you I have been to a few clinics where I live on east coast and they all said 9-12k US dollars, every person I’ve talked to said Turkey is the way better option for price . My question is the flight where I live is 15 hours one way, round trip is 1200 dollars plus the transplant itself I’m guessing around 4-6k do you think it’s just better do pay the Extra money here instead of going through the trouble of flying across the world for it.
Hey Amit. You mentioned that you had to have two hair transplants. First to restore the top and then a second procedure a year later to restore the crown. Was the total cost of both procedures 2850 or you had pay 2850 twice?
Hey Amit, I’ve started researching on hair transplant. I am at Norwood 7 baldness scale. It’s hard to find a reputable clinic in Turkey. How was your research on clinics. How did you choose Vera clinic?
they are a very reputable clinic so i went with them! they're results were amazing and they were pretty affordable. you can sign up for a free consultation and they'll give u all the info you need! vera.clinic/amit
No worries! I got a total of 6100 grafts extracted from my donar area! The price was fixed as a package, so the amount of grafts extracted was not based on the price.
In my opinion, you will definately need the first week off after your hair transplant. But after that i was able to get back to work. I was also working from home so it wasnt too bad, but i think after the first month you'd be able to get back into work. You will definatly have people looking and questioning what happened to you, but don't let it get to you, and focus at the end goal, that your hair will eventually grow back and you'll be looking better than ever!
If I pay for the package and decide not to buy the Finasteride and minoxidil will they be okay with that or pressure you to do so ? I already stack it 6 months supply from Keeps so I don’t feel it’s necessary for my. I’m sure I will have to buy the shampoo and serum maybe 3 months worth just because
its 100% ok! they will try to upsell you but you can always kindly refuse. I decided to take a few months supply initally but only because I did not know what to take after my procedure. But yeah if you already have it, no need to get more! But yes the shampoo and serum would be the most useful in my opinion to get
@@amitposthair thanks for the response. Well I’m pretty excited to be going in late April/May. So it’s good to have some knowledge beforehand and this video helped as well as Amir and some others. Can wait for the hair gains!
not any doctor in particular as I only interacted with mine for a short period of time. They assign u doctor prior to your surgery on the day so you wouldnt know anyway, nor would you get to pick
They do! Right from the airport and straight to the hotel. Then from the hotel to the clinic. They sort the hotel out with you before you arrive so it's all very easy!
I heard from some videos, that people suffer chronic pain after affecting nurves in the head under skin.. is that something you noticed after surgery? are those areas in pain forever or it slowly go away with time? thanks
i did not! at the beginning i was afraid of something like that especially with the way your head looks after the surgery, but it all subsides over time and you get back to normal within 2 months. The pain definately goes away after a while so you have nothing to worry about in that sense!
@@amitposthair thanks for the answer. I just got reply from the same clinic you went... they said unfortunately we can't do a surgery, donor area is weak.. wow.. can be like that?
@@SlavaAnimado unfortunately it's advised if your donor area is weak, it's probably not a good idea to do the surgery. Because it will just result in thin hairs on your transplanted area. @@alexeast3408 the cost is a fix price so it doesn't matter how many grafts are being extracted. If you get more extracted the price will still be the same as its a package price. I paid 2850 euros at the time when I went and that was the higher cost package
