I got an 07 with 62k miles, one clutch change, no drama yet! The secret is DRIVE THESE CARS QUIT KEEPING THEM IN A GARAGE AS TROPHIES, THEY HATES THAT SHIT! ,, everything stays lubricated if you DRIVE them, you have them sit there, shit will start fuvking up.
My best friend had a Gallardo and he had an aftermarket scissor door system installed. Costed around 5000$ and was absolutely worth it. I don’t remember the brand name but it was really well made. YOU COULD ALSO JUST BUY AN AVENTADOR FOR 300K INSTEAD.

Simply adjust your mirrors on the side. You don't need to see the side of your car. Angle them out more. You'll see cars, if they are there.

Essentially it's a TCU problem, I just got a new Perf Spyder and kept my Gallardo but recently put a VF TCU Tune on it, and although it's no lightning fast Huracan Clutch,it's been vastly improved by software alone! RacerXfpv-out!
Hey man, you can definitely run the auto on years 2007+ no issue. Just a heads up for anyone looking at older Gallardo’s.
This video isn’t super old, but I appreciate that you still look at comments and highlight them, like, etc. that’s awesome. As a bit of testimony, I have a 2008 Gallardo Spyder and the clutch was replaced at around 30,000 (yep, it’s a driver alright) and getting the same clutch installed I asked. Lamborghini tech was pretty confident that driving on auto, on the post 2007 models, or arguably any with a lift kit will last just as long, if not longer than they used to. It’s super fun to pop it in sport, but I love cruising too without having to worry. I can’t get over how locked to the road this car feels. Also, I’m getting a new internal navigation system with Apple play. Seriously feels like a 2014-2018 car with that installed.

Blind spot checkers solve the visibility problem
Ok so ya it is slow off the line in normal mode but if you do launch mode it will take off quite fast I guess you didn't know how to do that. The one I agree with you on is the lack of cruise control. I currently have over 37,000 miles on my clutch on my 2004, if you want auto mode just buy a non-sports car.
This looks like a real early gallardo like 2003- early 2005 with long 1st gear.
this is a SPORTS car. no need to complain about missing cruise control, cupholders or MP3 players. get yourself a Dacia.

Still despite the doors, the Gallardo is a raging Bull, taking the name of a caste of Bulls called the Gallardo’s. You did a great video. And that clutch care tips and sport more. There is some company near New York that makes a Kevlar clutch for Gallardo’s now. The visibility thing. One had ro drive it like you do, like a bike. And look out every way you can. Now it’s the Aventador. Named after a Trophy winning Bull. So impressed with bulls Furruccio Lamborghini he created the logo with the raging bull. He knew breeder called Don Eduardo Miura who bred those Seville Bulls. It’s all a fascinating history. It’s ironic that old man Furruccio got into a spat with Enzo Ferrari over clutched in his Ferrari. That Ferrari refused to service his car. Telling him to stick to driving tractors. So he said he’ll build his own sport scars. But he would not be happy with clutch life of the current cars.
First of all.. the complaints are pretty weak tbh. Your 1st mistake was buying the piece of crap E gear.. Buy a manual and be a driver. 2nd of all buy the kevlar clutch upgrade that the R8's have and the clutch will last longer and drive better than stock.
3rd of all fit a Tubi and stop moaning
I agree I think this must be his 1st lamborghini cause launching, visibility on any of them is not so good. I bought a brand new 1988.5 countash 5000s limited edition #12 of 29, in 1990 and I still have it but now it's twin Turbo and has stage 2 nitrous With titanium exhaust, dual clutch, updated electronics, 8,762 miles as of now. So in 2009 i purchased a 2005 Gallardo SE, modified the engine, fabtech exhaust, formula one suspension (lowered 3/4)", top notch Alpine system w kicker, 5 dash cams, built in radar/laser detection w stealth, live carbon fiber high rear wing, 255/40ZR19 FRONT 355/30/ZR19 tires, and I have no complaints on either

I have seen manual Gallardos listed online with e gears though in them. Did they install an egear? Why do they say manual but not have the gated gearbox? Also, can you convert an e gear to a gated 6 speed on these cars?

No 1 - I don't use the cruise control, typically. In older cars especially, you end up getting better gas mileage.

I’ve sat in a Lamborghini Gallardo the seats are hard like the integral skin foam seats of a steel roller coaster but, super comfy.

I installed cruise control on mine.. Really easy fix.. Home depot has bricks for almost nothing.... Only problem though is it only goes one speed.. ;)

123 was bull I drove all the way from Michigan to Texas and forgot I had cruise control don't use it you can always buy aftermarket radio you drive a Lamborghini put cameras in the guys that make kit Lamborghinis do now the clutch that's a problem not having a stick shift that's a problem getting beat by Neon that's a real problem so I guess I won't get one for $75,000 every erotic car that I want has a issue Mercedes-Benz window sensor if it breaks you spend 2500 on each window BMW SUV sucks Lambo clutch slow take off a lot of money to fix I'll just keep my Kia

The thing I hate most is #4. The acceleration off the line is horrible. Some minivans will even launch faster than the e-gear haha
Those 5 things I can live with. Can't afford the Huracan or Aventador at this point so I'm looking forward to getting into a Gallardo asap! Would be cool if it had the scissor doors but oh well. And a gated manual is my goal for sure.

I have a 2009 Manual in verde ithica and I love it as a collector car. I have others with cruise control. I can launch as hard as I want.
I can afford a HURACAN but I prefer the Gallardo, just got a 2009 pre LP Spyder. I love the Pre LP cause the engine sounds so good, the Hurucan doesn’t look as good and for me it’s to Audi R8. Even the LP gallardos lost some magic with the 5.2 although I do like the refresh look.

And the ironic thing is, I have Lamborghini Countach REPLICA that turns twice as many heads as a Gallardo (people--especially chicks--don't care that its a replica), costs less than half...., will smoke a Gallardo in any test of speed (love that turbo BMW V-10 it uses), and is WAY cheaper and easier to fix. OH..... and then there is my sissor doors :)
