4th of July weekend art festival continues on despite the threat of possible hurricane beryl reaching the area in the next 36 hours. Festival organizers tell me they plan to close early Sunday to give vendors time to pack up and leave.
County EOC issues Evacuation orders for elderly and residents with special medical needs head of the storm. I talk to local resident and business owner about Harvey and how they are preparing for Beryl.
Rockport beach residents begin boarding up homes.

The people there need to board up and leave town immediately. I heard Reed Timmer say that Beryl may reach Category 3 before hitting the Texas coast.

They should have been packing up and going today!! All about money, will not save you. When facing down a Hurricane. Evidently didn't learn anything from Hurricane Harvey!!!🤔

He said they have dogs....I wouldn't stay because I want my beloved animals safe, and not terrified, and possibly in danger with Beryl approaching.
