    Hello dear friends 🌻🤗
In this video, I will be crafting a herbal tea blend to help me with a sore throat and cough and I will take you along as we go through each of the chosen herbs I will use and the medicinal benefits of each herb. I will also be sharing some of my herbal book recommendations. with you.
I really hope you find this useful and enjoyable.
    ~Herbs I will be using:
    -Peppermint
-Elderflower ("sambubus nigra" or elderflower blossoms from elderflower tree with black berries only, elderflower with red berries is poisonous) Although, personally, I purchase my herbs in bulk from a good herb shop.
    -Nettle
    -Mullein
    -Marshmallow
    -Licorice

Would love to learn more about and use herbs as I always prefer natural remedies, what I would like to know is where or how you source and obtain the herbs that you use? Hope you feel better soon xxx

Thanks for sharing! I have some licorice root but haven't tried using it yet. I only just recently began experimenting with marshmallow root. I LOVE using Nettle, its the best!

This was very interesting. There should be medicinal alternatives to these herbs though. On the other hand, why not give it a try.

Hi there! Yes, of course there are always medicines you can buy, but I like to try the natural approach first if I can 🤗
This is for anyone else who is interested in trying with herbs or learning about herbs, and has access to purchasing some of these herbs from a herb shop as I do, so maybe it can help some people or just give some information 🤗

    Hi from Sweden 🇸🇪🇸🇪
Well, the weather here has been as it usually is in April, rain and sun, warm and cold weather, every other day.....
Hopefully the warm weather soon are here to stay!
    🌞🌱💖🥰🤗
    ‼️‼️Caution!!!‼️‼️
Just a little thing to notice. For you that are not very familiar with Herbs and Flowers etc ..this info is important.
Elderflower comes in two different species the Black ElderFlower and Red ElderFlower... The black one have the flat "flowers" and the red one has flowers formed like a Cone....
This is important to know because the red one is poisonous in every part of the plant whilst Black Elder is Poisonous just in the stems and leafs... It's only the flowers of the Black Elder, that are non-poisonous and could be used to eat or be made something to drink of!
    Have a hreat Sunday night!

How did you know the blend would taste good to you? Is that just from practice? ❤

@@SimplyMagicalLiving - Interesting. It just felt kind of random to me and I wondered if there was some kind of logic or reasoning behind it! I'm an hsp also and trying to make some big changes in my life for my health. Just found your channel. Thanks for sharing what you do!

@rswfire well, all these particular herbs I mention go well together for the purpose of sore throat and cough and are very medicinal, and that's exactly why I blend them together in a tea 👍 I'm also still a student of this art and science and so I do like to experiment 🤗 others may have their own preferred ingredients and that's fine too...

@@SimplyMagicalLiving- Definitely not criticizing, hope I didn't come across that way. By random, I just meant to my inexperienced self. I tried tea for the first time today. Made a video about it actually. I think that's how I found yours. I asked this question just to try to understand the process better. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!
I recently moved into an RV and then started withdrawal from a mild opiate that caused me a lot more problems than I ever anticipated so I am very curious now if tea is something that could help me. I'm really just interested in what you're doing!
