I bought a rebuilt Colipso that was painted over with Corvette chrome canary yellow. I had hoped to restore it but had to move and the car hauler got stuck behind a blizzard and drove over heavily salted winter roads. By the time it made it to my bew home and parked it was rusted away.

I saw a 88 2.3 auto convertible for $3I. Wish I had the cash. It would be a great starter car with upgrading the suspension, rear end, 5lug conv.
I love it! Aero nose is my fav! Best interior IMO
Im a 4-eye fan but the interior is much better on the aeros
Brings back memories of my calypso 91 LX hatch when I bought it 20 years ago. "Oh thats what it looked like stock" lol. Great job!

we both are for sure, she doesnt show it on camera like myself lol, we'll see how it holds up but so far shes liking driving it.

Exactly! Its not a “rare” sought after low mile car. Its a mustang, you drive them.
a very light coat of clear over the up down and lock and unlock buttons just a little over the letter
will help keep the white letters there....worked for me from years ago !!!!!!! if not they will wear off fast..ive tried original and aftermarket switches the letter wont last not time withoutit

@@HOUSEOFDULA I happened to find it on line in Missouri. Car is ridiculously clean. It was a father son car that they used for drag nights. They had dual quads and nitrous in it with a mild cam and old school Ford racing heads. The car was a time capsule from the 80s. Turns out motor was junk so I put in a 300hp 302 in it. Installing a Holley sniper system in it now. The car other than that is so clean and original. The doors close better than my 93 Cobra. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Seats are so comfortable.
My OCD is focused on 2 things. The wrong tail light lenses and who the hell names their kid "Davin"? Oh yeah my mother! 😂😂
Haha, your OCD would be like mine. I notice a lot more than than. This car is lowered, (looks good, rides like a brick) and even though I think the 86 tails look good on it. Its not proper for a "100% ORIGINAL car" ya know. Ive been going back and forth on this man, eventually I will likely put on new 87+ tails, and get this...swap these to my 86 give it its proper tails too! lol Then I'll have an extra set of SVO tails.
Quarter windows are aftermarket,no logo.The door weatherstrip is new,and all the ones I see installed don't seem to lay right in the corners.I wonder if it's the DC replacements or if the DC's fit better.
All in all looks great.
Your right on, I mentioned that in the vid as well for both. But yes these tend to fold up at the corners.

it scares me to drive mine but that's what it's there for I'm just worried about stupid drivers that don't pay attention but then again driving my truck I'm the same way I've got a 93 electric Red LX hatch and an 83 C10 and they're both done up to the way I like them you got a beautiful car brother congrats on your purchase your wife is a lucky lady as are you a lucky guy to have a wife that is into the Mustang like you are
