This is going to be my first quilt. THANK YOU SEW SEW much for a wonderful tutorial. I’m feeling a little more confident to get this quilt started. Looking forward to watching and sewing along with you 😊🧵🧵🧵🪡
Bethadilly, Starting the Spring Showers Quilt it’s February 2023. Watch Karlie group to. I would love to see you felt flowers, the way you craft and sew are they way I am, particular! Love everything you do! Patricia Bennett
Beautiful I have an embroidery machine and I have not done any quilting on it or black building I’ve done a big quilt that I did on the embroidery machine and that was pretty hard this looks very easy
I’ve become a quick Kimberbell fan. I’m making my first bench pillow and love that they provide the files to use my cutting machine for the appliqué. Game changer!
That’s awesome! I find the appliqué trimming to be one of the most relaxing parts for me (crazy, I know)…so I haven’t used the cut files but it’s so nice to have that option!
I love that quilt block and how you can quilt on your very cool machine of yours. I look forward to seeing how it all comes together. I like the compromise you came up for letting us join you on the journey of the quilt coming together but also keeping some of that process for yourself as part of your self care. Best of both worlds in my opinion.
Hi Bethany! I am working on the same spring quilt, I am all prepped and ready to go. I was procrastinating getting started (nerves) but thanks to you and this video, I will be completing my first block tomorrow (that is the goal). I also purchased the upcoming Christmas quilt from Kimberbell, it is going to be amazing. And to top it off I also purchased the 4th of July pillow with the fairy lights - so many projects :)
Wow this is wonderful! I have just received these designs. Have never done quilting before. Just wanted to say I love all your videos. Just treated myself to a Cricut joy for Mother’s Day so have been binging on your videos. Thanks for being so easy to follow and so patient. I can totally relate as I am a perfectionist and am not happy unless things are exactly right. So I feel so comfortable knowing others are the same. Thank you!🤗
I only bought a low cost single needle 4x4 embroidery machine as a beginner but I was anxious to see you show your professional quality embroidery applique machine projects to see the possibilities. thank you so much
First, I must thank you for introducing me to Kimberbell products! The quality is amazing and I am officially obsessed! I fell in love with the Two Scoops bench pillow (The pastels are so beautiful…right up your alley!). I also thought that the Cup of Cheer Christmas Countdown quilt was so amazingly adorable (I’m sure that your little ones would love how it’s interactive…definitely has the potential for a family tradition!). Thank you for sharing your talents! I am new at embroidery and quilting so watching your videos creates confidence from your excellent guidance! Stay well and happy quilting!😊
Bethany, this was really fun to watch.... I have a Singer Futura that I've had for about 6 years but have not used the applique or quilting options yet. This get's me excited to see!
I’m going to save for an embroidery machine and these videos get me more and more excited. I probably say this every time but you have such a sweet, calming spirit. I just love to watch!! I have a couple questions if you don’t mind. Do you get overwhelmed or struggle with perfectionism? Im having a hard time starting anything lately because I just don’t like how it turns out. And what’s your nail color?? Love it all!! ❤️
Yes, I definitely have my moments were I struggle with perfectionism but I feel like I am getting better about it. I tend to get overwhelmed before a project, but feel better once I get it started. Like this quilt...I felt overwhelmed just thinking about it, but after I started prepping the fabric and getting organized to start I felt like it was achievable. :)
@@Bethadilly that’s a really really good point-just starting at some point . I’ve not even started a lot of mine. Thank you for your beautiful content ❤️
Bethany, this is so beautiful! You're so clever. I would love to make quilts like this and I wondered if your embroidery machine also works as a sewing machine to sew it all together? Thanks for making these videos, I love to see your creations 😊
Hi Bethany, Can Babs be used to sew patches onto a leather jacket, or only for embroidery designs? I'm so interested in getting into embroidery for future grandkids and am getting closer to getting my own Babs.
How exciting! Hmmm, I think if you're look for premade patches that sounds like more of a job for a sewing machine. I know you can make patches on an embroidery machine, but not sure about putting them on a jacket using the same machine??
Hi Bethany. I am using my Alliance and it says that I need a larger hoop than the 8x9 that I am using. On my Meridian, I had to use my 10 x 14 hoop. What am I doing wrong. :(
I might be the only one, but I’m curious to see how you change the thread on your machine. Is there something on the top of the machine that grabs the thread and pulls it down to the needle?
If I think of it, I’ll try to show it in an upcoming video! You cut off the existing thread at the top, then tie on the next color and pull it through, so you don’t have to rethread the machine each time.

My grandmother gave me a lot of quilt tops she made., when she pasted away I inherited them. I'm now completing the quilt for my granddaughter.
I’m sorry for your loss! That’s beautiful that you’re finishing up such a special project!
So, so, so, so precious. And I love the wind background.

What a wonderful Monday surprise! I am SO intimidated by these bigger projects, hoping these videos give me the confidence to give it a go
I was too! But stitching the first block makes it easier!!
What sewing machine do you have? I think that’s the part that I’m most worried about

Oh yes, the cup of cheer quilt is definitely on my mind! I love how interactive it is!
Really adorable. Great work. Love your choices.
The first row looks amazing. So beautiful :-) I can't wait to see the rest of the project.
This is so beautiful i really love your embroidery machine ❤
So pretty this far! 💖. TFS
Very cute!
I loved it. Can’t wait to see it finished. I might have to get a kit

I use the 28/18 mm rotary cutter with the orange pops. It works better for me than the 45 mm rotary cutter.
Oh! I may try that! I usually do really well with my 45 but was so distracted this time. 😂

It doesn’t, mine is embroidery only so I bring out my sewing machine to sew the blocks together!
I’m working on Kimberbell Whisk You all the Way. Christmas in May? 😉
Any time is perfect for Kimberbell!
