    Apparently some UI designers got the instruction to shoehorn as much info in the display real estate as possible. Well....actually not possible but they did it anyway. If you compare this to the Garmin 3000 in a Honda Jet it becomes clear in a sec which UI and flow and flight automation designers did a better job here. It looks that Honeywell could not decide on the level of automation which if done well would remove a lot of the clutter and present much cleaner display. Hire some guys from Garmin and Honda maybe?

      Ed Du not only that, but the UI graphic design looks like something out of early 2000's Linux. I agree that the Garmin system has a much better UI that is much easier to quickly find information on, and the graphics are more pleasing to the eye

      Erik N That early Linux.......you noticed too! They got their screens and graphics cards from K-Mart?

      Ed Du that's kinda the sad part. The graphics modules are super expensive specialized equipment and they waste them on this

      Proline 21 guy here. All of those displays look super busy. I don’t care if my displays look like Linux... they military grade and are simple and they work.

    oh so vnav does climbs and not just descents like garmin,,, much better,,, 1 thing i think would be better,,, when you turn vnav off,, flc should still stay on
