Divorcing this song from the storm *was* a crime. Clearing the clouds at least kept the Thunderhead islands with a storm overhead. Why couldn't they have done the same for Dragonhead?
Irresistible curiosity made me explore this island chain before even knowing the storm could be lifted. Despite not being able to see more than 6 feet in front of me, I ended up on Dragonhead island, and was struck by the incredible sense of calm. Together, the gorgeous music track, thick mists, endlessly pattering rain, and distant thunder created a real sense of magic and wonder. Definitely one of my favorite moments in this entire game, and I'm so glad I decided to explore this area on my own before being directed there.

This was probably my favorite single moment in TotK. Like a lot of people, I got to this island a lot earlier than you were "supposed" to, so I ended up doing the quest a bit earlier than was probably intended. (I got here by bypassing the Thunderhead Isles entirely). I probably spent 10-20 minutes just walking around the island. The ambience was so good, and the music and the storms really capture it. Just this remote, lonely island that is hidden from view and likewise nothing can be seen from it. Then you find the construct head, in what turns out to be a very good hiding place.
And what is most interesting is this is the lowest elevation sky island in the game. It feels like you're miles up in the sky, but you're not. The overall atmosphere is so good that it tricks your brain. Easily the best quest in the game.
Same Here. Was casually wandering around the sorrounding Thunderhead Islands when all of a sudden there was....This. Bonus points for the devs since I am a vivid enjoyer of rain and thunder ambience🥰 Mineru's quest was unexpected, but very welcome!!
Please please PLEASE do the "Thunderhead Isles" track with ambience, I remember stumbling upon the Thunderhead Isles by accident and I was in awe and tears, but the soundtrack on it's own isn't that great. With the ambience it would be INCREDIBLE!
Yessss, I love the rain and thunder ambience. I got here with a very lucky ascend that placed me right in front of the shrine :) I would always go here for the goddess statue just so I could listen to the music. I was sad when I finally did the quest post game and it removed the rain
i dont even completed that quest and maybe I will not do it.

This and Arrival on Criteria. Nintendo really are pros at making ambient rain songs that just wanna make you stop dead in your tracks.
This, and the Great Sky Island theme with the Bell of Time will no doubt be the OST's that will stick with me the most. The very faint instrument played for the Dragons theme is so serene and beautiful. Really great highlight from the game. Thanks for the video, this makes doing homework go by much quicker!
